donstan18: Leave the hatred we have for Buhari for now and be honest. The guy said the truth, Buhari can make Dangote go down a bit, he has the power.
Ibeto can testify what a president can do. Nna you are going to far with ibeto.....let me give you my small experience. In the early 2000 ,we were importing finished furnitures from Dubai, making a lot of money and living large,we were the toast of boys in Lagos island, alaba international and Victoria island.........OBJ made import duties on finished furnitures 100%......we had goods already on the way ,bought with almost all our capital.....When the goods arrived we had to borrow money to clear them, sold ,ran into debts.....And that's the downfall of Dubai furniture imports at that time. Just a single govt. policy and the business collapsed. |

BlastAfonja: who developed that particular LAGOS in the first place, how did a former capital of a country suddenly owned by a single tribe just because its close to their region.. The real question should be ,do the five eastern states receive monthly cash from the FG? and what have they done with it ,in terms of developing the region? |

erinalex: we know pple like u, once you hear that name TINUBU, u start Masturbating. For your information, in Lagos, we don't see paying of salaries as an achievement. Ambode is Not doing anything new; since d era of Jagaban as d Governor,Lagos has been paying salaries as at when due. Your major problem is Tinubu. Ambode failed woefully, come to my area Demurin Ketu, and see d terrible state of d roads,b4 u say, it's local government issue; why can't ambode follow d ways, Fashola did it then? Drinking water becomes an issue under ambode. BRT price from #120 to #200. Toll's hiking. Okada having a field day on our roads. Priest was axed. Lots of Fashola's projects were abandoned,e.g ilu 'binrin. And in Truth, this seemingly "love" for Ambode by u pple is a fluke The amount of time and energy u spend on Tinubu and Lagos matter; spend 1/10 of it,for ur region and u will have a better place. You pple are ingrates, tell me,specifically d problems u have with Tinubu; u come to Lagos, u do ur business, u make ur cool money; under our godfather Tinubu, no law was enacted to disrupt ur businesses. Under Tinubu, non -native were made commissioners in Lagos. A fit that can't b done by any of ur Governor. U buy lands in Lagos, built houses, built hotels, own big companies; yet u wake up every day, looking for jagaban's demise. Are u under a spell? In your region, a brother of mine, wanted to buy land,u pple made it mandatory for him, to marry ur daughter b4 he can get d land. U will be acting as if, Tinubu's downfall will set u free. He is just a human being, like u and I, build yourself up too. Enough of dissipation of energy over Tinubu and Lagos; face your region too. If u are not OK in Lagos, go back home. Or they forced u to stay in Lagos? Exactly what I've been telling my brother's, you have all the fun in Lagos, make all the money,go back to the east and enjoy your vacations in your lovely houses, yet you come back to Lagos and want to dictate to them ,how they run their state, its not nice ,in my own opinion. Someone not from my kindred can't even buy a quarter plot of land from my family, talk less of someone from another state. Please let us learn to respect other people's choice and opinions.....we can't assist in creating or messing up someone's house and during festive seasons ,we happily travel to the mansions we built from proceeds we made from our accommodating states. |

Omololu001: he will try to rig the election in his favor if he is not impeached.
When he is impeached, then he can contest in any party he likes.
Believe me bro,I've never believed in ambode from day one,his performance in ikorodu has been disastrous. This is a man that promised the people of ikorodu a lot of things like construction of inner roads, building more schools etc. During the time of fashola, there were people that do clean the major roads on ikorodu from Monday to Friday, there is nothing like that again.
Have you drive through mile12-ketu on the ikorodu road, just before getting to ile-le,the road is a total disaster. There is a lot of things he has done wrong, tomorrow he will lose with a big margin in ikorodu Roads in Lagos at the moment are in terrible conditions,no doubt about that, but I still think Lagos is a country Inside Nigeria and needs to be handled with absolute maturity.. |

filitech070: This is the most stupid statement from an incumbent who has lost relevance in his party....since when has ambode started knowing who's credible to run Lagos state? Na wa oh...this roforofo fight is already lost by this clown. He should just go and relax ...enjoy the money stolen and move on! Fighting this Lagos strong cabal will turn sour and I forsee ambode regretting... but am sitting back and watching! I like Ambo as a person, but he should just let go and gear up for a ministerial appointment next year.....unless the fate of mbadinuju vs Emeka Offor will happen to him.Except he wants to be remembered only when we see him on tv at a wedding or crusade. |

Ambode will lose tomorrow, and if he tries to decamp after losing he will be impeach But bro ,what I don't understand is why impeach him,if he decamps? I thought the assumption is that he didn't do well? is it not better he is allowed to go to another party and still loose? |

Same Ghanians some Nigerian were saying they must return to their country calling their bags GHANA MUST GO back then. They are now the ones dominating Nigeria.
Why won't they?! When her leaders over the years have all raped, stolen and plundered our dear nation into darkness and were on the verge of turning Nigeria to another Somalia. We sane ones thank God a new Sherrif is in town to right all the wrong atrocities committed in the past and make our darling nation GREAT once again.

globemoney: Anambra was almost a failed state before obiano took over, No security, No agriculture, poverty, no infrastructure.. All we had was a governor who was performing only on paper, claiming, he was saving money while building his supermarkets with Anambra money and also building narrow china roads around the state which have all collasped. Now I would want any of your loudmouths to compare the achievements of Obiano in 5 years with that of peter obi after 8 years, Obiano has lifted Anambra out of insecurity (people seem to forget), completed capital infrastructure, created wealth for the people, etc. It can only get better. My only expectation from obiano now after the successful okada ban is to dualize and modernize Major Anabra roads which his predecessors failed to do, to serve as a a template for future governors, enough of the narrow low budget roads all around the state. This should be his priority right now, time is ticking.. The rest of obi social media team of AnambraDota and co can keep blowing hot air.. You forget to add that Anambra is clean, just came back from there last weekend, spent a week, and I must tell you,it was fun.....the good roads and street lights, was awesome....will be there for Christmas. |
