Smile. I'm good, better, best here in Nigeria. You must know, not all Nigerians are suffering. I schooled abroad, and I see different kinds of sufferings that my people induced upon themselves in a foreign land.

This is a proof that money is not everything. Money can be made in Nigeria. But there are levels of comfort that money can never guarantee in Nigeria. Some poor people abroad are more comfortable than some rich people in Nigeria.
Each will decide what he wants. I personally regret going abroad. If I would choose a country in my next life, I will still choose Nigeria.

Do not confuse Shehu Musa Yar'Adua (Chief of Staff Supreme Headquarters and 2i/c to Obasanjo from 1976-1979) and his younger brother, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua who was President from 2007 to 2010.

You are the one who has made the blunder.
Yeah, I mixed Umaru and Shehu up. However, the award GCFR is exclusively and only for Presidents. That's the blunder I intended to highlight.

I hope this clarifies. I will go back and edit too!

This Trump era are not the best of eras for Nigerians living in the United state of America as there are crackdown on immigrants currently taking place.

Even people with papers and documents are not having rest of mind currently as they can be thrown into Guatonobay with flimsy excuses.

Massive protest is ongoing for the fourth day in Los Angeles now with demonstrators not happy with the immigrants crackdown.

California and Los Angeles are like safe haven for Immigrants but it seems Trump wants to dislodge the immigrants in those cities.

I think Trump should be flexible and give those immigrants a pathway so that they can be US citizens.
Trump doesn't have problems with immigrants. He has problem with illegal immigrants. I think it's always good to state this clearly. Ever wondered those safe haven/sanctuary states are blue states?

I think you're partly correct. There's one girl on my street with tiger tribal marks, big butts and heavy bwess. Without her make up, no man dey disturb her, but the day she use pancake cover her tribal marks, men wan kpai themselves on top her matter oooo. Even me fall small.

So those makeup matters in some cases.

Stop arguing blindly!

The governor has done the right thing by making the trains readily available instead of one train to thousands of people. Don't try to explain what I already know the situation which the governor has solved. Sounding woke but clueless

quote author=CaptainFM1 post=135682812]

Stop arguing blindly.

There are "seated" trains and there are "standing" trains.

If a train is designated as a mass transit train, it is designed for people to stand.

Similarly, if it's a "seated" train, you will have that luxury to sit and stretch your legs or even sleep.

Understand the difference and find peace.

That's how life is and we have to learn to be contented.

I gave my used clothes and shoes to the welfare section of my church and I heard that people were dragging on who would take the shoes and the clothes. And this is something I don't want to wear again.

Your used car and items is the prayers of another person.

We're not equal in terms of development.
You're spot on. The last paragraph summarises our dilemma. Our leaders would rather give us antiquated developmental projects/assets so that there will be enough for them to embezzle.

If we want to be the best or even be among the best, we have to compete with the best.

COMPAQ:
The point of any mass transit is to get from point A to point B safely, speedily and efficiently.

We aren't doing fashion parade with trains here. There is abosultely nothing wrong with it.

If they bring much fancier trains thst cost more and ask you to pay a higher fare, una go still complain.
I partly agree with you simply because you know the definition of mass transit. The fact still remains that Present day China will not use such as their mass transit trains. It's like asking someone that's already using iPhone 15 to now use Nokia 3310.

When then are we going to catch up with the rest of our peers? By the time China and others moved to something more innovative and futuristic, that's when we will now start using the type of trains that China is currently using. That will be like 50years or 100years time.

When borrowing technology, you take it from the current position. These are trains China have used like 30years ago.Dubai is building too, but you don't see them importing antiquated trains to their city. Always go with the flow the right way.
