By Ahmed Tahir Ajobe
Minna — The immediate past Nigeria Ambassador to South Africa, Ahmed Ibeto has disclosed that the recurring incidences of murder involving Nigerians were being carried out by Nigerians themselves contrary to claims of xenophobic attacks.

In an interactive session with journalists shortly after the presentation a letter of intention to vie for the governorship of Niger state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday in Minna, Ibeto said from the statistics of killings and their remote and immediate causes available to the Nigeria Embassy, most of the incidences were as a result of conflict between Nigerians.

"I can authoritatively tell you from the evidences we have that out of four of such killings involving Nigerians, three are by Nigerians themselves as a result of rivalry, shady deals, cultism and drugs," he said.

He said in most cases, the conflict is as a result of territorial control between drug barons which often results in deaths and destructions, even as he disclosed that barons also kill their aides and workers who betray them in the cause of business.

He explained that he has on many occasions submitted detailed reports on such crises to the federal government, who promptly collaborate with South Africa authority to stem the tide.

He however said there were few exception where South Africans attack and even murder Nigerians

Bro, I lived in South Africa for almost four years. I can also authoritatively tell you one or two things about that country.

Iblad0994:
The Fulani people are also part of Nigeria and because some of the herdsmen are killers dosen’t justify calling all the fulanis criminals.

Truly Nomadic lifestyle of the Fulani herdsmen is obsolete to be honest and there is need for the government to put a stop to that. But you have to understand it’s part of their history that no one can erase, so having it on the passport to as a form of culture is not much of a big deal.

Or what do you think about other cultures represented on the passport? Does that mean we still ride horses in naija coz there are lot of horsemen images on the passport (I don’t really know the tribe name for the people on horses).
The people on horses represent the northern emirs.

ariketalks:
It's more like a comma but not quite. Here are some examples,

▪We have a test tomorrow; I can't play video games today.
▪There's a long trip ahead; we must leave early.

In both examples, each mini sentence can stand independently and still make sense but because they are related to the same topic, we use a semicolon to connect them in one single sentence whilst still telling the reader they are independent (just related).
If you use a comma in any of the examples above, it would not quite suffice as the comma is used for slight pauses in sentences where the components may not necessarily be independent.
You are not connecting the sentence in the above examples. You're rather using the semicolon to separate the sentence.

Romance12 Solid Reasons Why Your Man/Woman Is Not Talking To You. by captianfreeman(op): 9:47pm On Jul 09, 2019
1. YOU OVER REACT

If you keep blowing things out of proportion, he will wonder how to approach you

2. YOU DON’T INITIATE CONVERSATIONS

Once as a lady you show no interest in him and always wait for him to make the move, he will do less feeling it is one sided

3. YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT YOUR EX

It is boring for a man to talk with a woman that one loves and she keeps bringing her ex in the conversations, especially praising him or talking as if she is stuck in the past

4. YOU GOSSIP

Your man will tell you less when he realizes that what he shares with you, you end up sharing with your friends

5. YOU JUDGE HIM

If he feels that you keep vilifying him when he opens up to you, he will share with you less

6. YOU ARE A ONE ISSUE WOMAN

If you are fixated on one issue which you keep complaining about, your man will get bored. Learn to be diverse in your conversations and complain less

7. YOU ARE OVER EMOTIONAL

It is healthy to be emotional but when you become over emotional and over sensitive, your man will struggle to tell you things fearing you cannot handle them.

8. YOU ARE ARGUMENTATIVE

If you turn a simple conversation into a nasty confrontation, to keep his peace, he will talk less

9. YOU DON’T LISTEN

If you are the kind of lady who always wants to be heard and you rarely take time to hear you man out and find out how he’s been, if it is all about you and then you accuse him for not loving you when he doesn’t do what you ask when you ask, he will tolerate conversations with you instead of enjoying them

10. YOU HAVE WALLS

If you keep pushing him away due to your fears, trust issues, or stereotyping that he is just like every other man and he will not understand you despite how well he treats you, he will get tired

11. YOU ARE POSSESIVE

If you are all up in his space, choking his comfort, driven with paranoia, micromanaging him because you fear he will find a woman more exciting than you, it will hurt him that you don’t trust him and you expect the worse from him. You are making him uncomfortable and robbing his peace

12. YOU OVER THINK

If you are the kind of woman who over analyzes issues to the point that no decision actually gets made and even when a decision is made you live in constant fear that it might go wrong. You might make him consider what he can tell you and what he shouldn’t.

Guys/Ladies, with of the above reasons is a total turn off for you?

Number
1. Embassy is not a hotel.
2. Consular services are not offer at night.
3. The consular staffs are not under any obligation to accommodate those who approach them for consular services.

No one should demonize Nigeria and Nigerians over this incidence. If you're travelling to the embassy for consular services, you ought to take due diligence by making sure you get to the embassy during working hours.
