flowmama: 9 local government gone out of 22...
Asides the margin already on ground, PDP is still leading in these 9 LGs... PDP strongholds have all been announced. Out of the 75k votes cancelled, not even 10k had been announced. |

Indispensable85: Going through comments here just makes me sad! What is clear is that our standard of education is declining everyday. Youths who're supposed to be leaders of tomorrow can't even read and comprehend very little things. I want to believe nairaland is not a true representation of the intelligence of the average Nigerian youth. The level of dumbness here is so alarming. For God's sake it's a normal practice in election tribunal matters for both the petitioner and the respondent to seek the permission of the court to mandate INEC to allow unhindered inspection of materials used for the election. It's usually the first step in election petition, it allows the petitioner to put his case together and submit before the tribunal and also allows the respondent to prepare his defence ahead of time. The ratio of asinines to sensible people here is high. Some even "liked" the comments. |

Esseite: Oh my Nigeria...
its a pity we are in the times the Judiciary, the supposed third arm of Govt of the Nation now deems it fit to take authority from the Executive before discharging it's duties...
How low can we go?... where is the pride in training our babies to become lawyers..

Dannyset: There's all the reasons not to field him for second term there especially his bad performance and not paying salaries despite the huge money he got from the President, but bringing Tinubu into everything to me doesn't make sense. Political analyst should be able to talk sometimes and spare the man.
If APC is fielding anybody from that small Kogi west, he had better be loved by the Igala, if not, forget it. Yahaya Bello has taught the igalas that it's a mistake to let other zones to rule over them . If a goat from igala land contest, the igalas would vote that goat. |

PremiumLeaks: And he couldn't do the magic for Atiku in the presidency? Doesn't that tell you something; that we don't give the northern voters much credit that they deserve! Kano voters decided not to reward the Ganduje thief that's all! kwankwaso was being tactical and that's why the outcome of this election is like this. It will be suicidal to go against Buhari in kano - that could have cost him more than supporting atiku. Kano people voted Buhari in 2011 and voted kwankwaso in the governorship. |

kwankwaso made a statement with this election. But that can't be crowned with victory because the rerun would give apc a vista to react appropriately. |

BiafranBushBoy: lol
If I were to vote as a neutral, I would choose the PDP guy. He looks calm, collected, and doesn't even look like an Aboki.
It is unfortunate that the election was declared inconclusive and I doubt if Buhari will put his hand in this election - that would kill his perceived credibility.
I sense he will allow the people's will to prevail. Either ways, it is non of my fvcking business who rules them in Kano state. Just how scoundrels write. Fvck all of em. |

hahahahaha amaechi is the only reason this election is sweet. The entire ND has never known a dogged fighter like Amaechi. He fights like a lion. By this time in 2015, wike unleashed every might(federal might, pej and gej might, police and army might, thug might, etc. ) on amaechi and rivers apc members. 4 years down the line, he's receiving it just like he served us last time. Wike even promised to lock the land border , air and the sea to prevent amaechi from escaping when gej wins - that didn't happen. In fact, the land, air and sea are technically under his control. What's demdem new handle sef? I need updates from ph. Truckpusher stay indoors. We are not joking. Or you lose ur truck to our firepowers. |
