A group of witches yesterday organised a mini rally after visiting the residents of Okene in Kogi State ahead of the Saturday's elections.

The witches came who endorsed president Muhammadu Buhari for his strides in fighting Boko Haram and other crimes in the country said; “Vote for Buhari or we will come for you with everything we have including death”

They also instructed the residents of Okene to vote for anybody governor Yahaya Bello approves because the voice of Bello is the voice of God.

One of conundrums that has always ravished my mind is how a country like Nigeria, with all the enormous resources at our disposal can't boast of steady power supply, not even 24/7, but at least steady.

The general cost of doing business in this country without power is so damn high, you'd feel pity for manufacturers and entrepreneurs. The effects can not make a thriving economy, we have potentials but until this power issue is fixed, It can't be achieved.

Having said that, news that happen up north whether entertainment, politics, religious, crime etc are usually under-reported due to the goegraphical make-up of the area and the uncooperative attitude by those involved with new reporters due to religious restrictions. So you won't blame the media for this.

Finally, the trending attitude of the typical fulani is to invade and occupy even if it means annihilating the original inhabitants. Therefore, today, people are at alert and have come to resist and meet them with equal force.
