Christianity Etc › Re: The Lord's Chosen Celebrates 22nd Year Anniversary by Caseless: 8:00am On Dec 27, 2024
Atuero:
22Years of God's mercy

MUOKA has done well because these Yorubas wanted to monopolize Pentecostal Ministry while we at ala Igbo were busy with Catholic, Anglican, Methodist and Assemblies of God.

The God of chosen truly answers prayer
So, it's all about the business side of it?
Phones › Re: Is This A Wise Decision Made By My Girlfriend by Caseless: 7:44am On Dec 27, 2024

My babe told me she wants to fix her samsung s10 plus screen that she needs 100k.

I sent her d money without thinking twice.
Later on I found out she actually fixed the screen for 250k i.e adding my 100k to her own 150k.

Is that a wise decision to fix a samsung S10plus for that amount when she could get a brand new mid-range Tecno phone with that same amount
Who gave her the other 150k should be your source of worry, not her decision.

Politics › Re: Governor Makinde Responds To Reported Plan To Create Sharia Court In Oyo by Caseless: 7:25am On Dec 27, 2024
Christians are always in competition. Same thing they did with Islamic banking and state where they have majority are the ones benefitting from its financial arrangements.

The shariah court in the north hasn't tried any Christian before. Why's their fear here? We do have stupid people practising their stupidity, instead of religion, in Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Gov Umar Namadi Loses Son 24 Hours After Mother’s Death by Caseless: 7:18am On Dec 27, 2024
Esthered:
This Governor did a broadcast during the peak of protests thisbyear that the country's problem is God's will and not act of men. We should attribute same to the cause of the accident that killed his son. We shouldn't blame it careless driving or the poor state of the road whose funds may have been embezzled by him.
RIP to the dead sha.
He himself said It's an act of God, whatever you say won't change that fact. From Kafin Hausa, I don't think there's that bad road like it's in your place.

yoruboid:
If you watched the presidential debate with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, you wouldn’t have been surprised

Obi and Atiku were miles behind him in terms of policy and clarity of thought. You can search for the videos on YouTube and even without watching, the comments alone should tell you who did well
He did well there and it was one showing he had that convinced me. I also saw that budget presentation, I noticed he had memorized some parts of the speech - he was reading without looking many times.

Xisnin:
Unlike Sharia bank and bond, the Shariah court is only voluntary for the time being.
Same lie of "muslim-only" hisbah was touted when being inaugurated.

Also, these "courts" are foreign-sponsored subversive entities with dangerous plans for the future.

Its promoters receive monthly allowance from special interest foreign entities and have
to show progress in implementing their masters agenda.

Travel › Re: Why Has Japa Noise Reduced Or Nigerians Lose Interest In Japa Already? by Caseless: 2:56pm On Dec 21, 2024
Namaster:
Cost to japa has BALLOONED beyond what 90% of Nigerians can afford.

The combination of an UNFORGIVING exchange rate and BRUTAL immigration requirements by several countries have temporarily stemmed the tide of japa.

Plus, the rise of ANTI-IMMIGRANT sentiments has forced some people to reconsider.

Trump's entire campaign HINGED on treating immigrants as bad as possible. And it WORKED!

Pierre Poilievre, Canadian Trump-wannabe, is on his way to power in 2025. He is ANTI-IMMIGRANT too.

Most popular child name in UK for 2024 was Mohammed. UK citizens are SCARED now so they are ANTI-IMMIGRANT too.

Poland too has a LOUD anti-immigrant politician.

MOST of Europe are experiencing a WAVE of anti-immigrant sentiments. They are rolling out measures that'd make immigration into their countries DIFFICULT and UNDESIRABLE.

If you scale through the hurdles, you'd still face HOSTILE indigenes that'd treat you like garbage.

A new era of Nationalism is DAWNING.
NOBODY wants foreigners in their countries.
Nobody!

Japanese are LITERALLY dying out due to low birth rate and they still LOATHE immigrants.

It's time to face your own country. Call politicians to order.

Demand MORE!
You're right. Let's fight to get our country working. Let's face the system.

Politics › Re: Edo State Govt Suspension Of LGA Chairmen Sparks Clash With Tinubu, Courts by Caseless: 3:11am On Dec 21, 2024
Barr. Emwanta defiantly stated that, “The Constitution has placed local governments under state control and that remains the law. It is now for the National Assembly to give them full political independence like states enjoy, but that is not currently the case. They are not an independent organ or tier of government; they are under the control of the state.

“Financial autonomy is about giving them access; but that does not mean state governments do not have control over how they use that money. The Supreme Court cannot amend the constitution; Section 7 (of the Constitution) remains.”

Ambush pricing to discourage importation by marketers.....petrol price that shouldn't be more than 200 per litre.

If God says Nigeria will get better, it will effortlessly. For now, its simply business as usual with a different 'looting' model in the guise of subsidy removal.... what a pity!
It should not be more than 200? How much be crude in dollar and what's the cost of refining a a barell of crude? You're away from reality.

Our people are very stupid. I once met a guy that said their Chinese boss is fond of slapping them. I told him I won't take that nonsense. I'd hit him hard and quit the job.

The shocking thing is, It's Nigerian security serving them they send to bear you in the name of protecting "expatriates".
