Foreign Affairs › Re: Why Exactly Did Some Nigerians Celebrate Trumps Victory? by Caseless: 12:18am On Nov 09, 2017 |
I think Trump was celebrated because of:
1. His hatred for Islam or Muslims
2. his asininity appeals to many as there are many asinines right now in the world to take such message the dotard was spreading then. I'm sure most of them didn't expect blacks in America will be this hit by his presidency.
3. The lunatics aka igbo kilistain or iPod yoot that celebrated most are the people with zero education who thinks he's coming to remove Buhari and give them biafla.
I can see the land of low current sun being achieved with trump . The only little issue here is that dilekto gone on recess. |

ibkayee: His controversial comments on minorities and the fact that he ran his whole campaign on racist rhetoric.
Housing discrimination against black people, refused to denounce an endorsement by a member of the KKK, called Mexicans rapists, defended white supremacists in Charlottesville, questioned Obama’s place of birth because of his skin colour are some examples.
Some of his comments go back a long way before his presidential campaign but I actually think he’s more of an opportunist just pretending to be more racist than he is to pander to his main supporters, white supremacists. you don't spend your time educating a certain farahaideed, cos most of them are close-minded. |

I thought they say the clueless global hero of democracy gave all the appointments to the north and starved his own southern region?
Our biggest problem is not the corruption inherent among Nigerians, but the national amnesia we suffer as a people.
Me, I can never forget what we went through under Jonathan and can never forgive him.
Buhari is mostly hated because of his religion and his anti-corruption stance. But , do you expect the beneficiaries of corruption to celebrate him ? No!

Promismike: The level of religious and political crises in the north made me ran away from the north.
Opon all the over zealousness for religion and politics the north remains the most backward region in Nigeria.
If over zelousness for religion and politics helps anyone. The north would have been better off. illiterates will always come up with this useless thought. You took your hungry ass up north to sell fake drugs and you were chased by northerners, here you're complaining for being a failure. Just say there was no baby factory to operate there, hence your decision to run. |

Billyonaire: The fact that Nigeria's Political leadership have negated their primary responsibilities pf providing amenities and infrastructures as well as good governance to her citizens but resort to regulating how the citizens should use their sex organs magnifies a greater systemic dysfunction than I thought.
Homosexuality is an aberration and Bobrisky deserves our pity, our support and rehabilitation instead of a jail time.
That aside, I have done extensive research on Homo sexuality, and I realized that outside of Earth, there are Extra Terrestrial races of Beings, some highly spiritual, who prefer homosexuality to straight intercourse, some ETs races have up to 5 gender types which our 5 limited senses can not even begin to put into words. Yet some have both male and female gender on one body, even as some do not have sex to experience orgasm.
We must start to educate our politicians. Cos they are foolish an have misplaced their priorities. stfu |

Majesticniyi: Didn't I read somewhere this morning about Senate calling for abolition of Excess Crude Account? I haven't read that. If they did, that's a century joke. Though I have not seen the reason behind their plan on that. It might logical though to have it abolished if you don't "excess" why having excess crude account? Again, before they can do that, it will take another cycle of legislative work and presidential assent to the abolition or replacement or an amendment. You don't expect that to happen under this budget regime or the time it will stand. |

and where will they put the excess for next year? what do you think was the benchmark in the last budget that you're asking for the excess? Well, the excess is in excess crude account. The one depleted by Jonathan is being stashed again. |

Furthemore, almost everything he wrote up there in his article to accuse Osinbajo are imbecillic lies. Lilimax: 1) You'll not understand because you're yet in darkness. Come to the Light that is in Christ, then you'll understand. 2) You'll not understand because you are not spirituality discerned. It is the Holy Spirit that will give you understanding.
Spiritually things are not taught, they are caught
May you catch the Rhema! bring more logic instead of the "blanket spirituality" proof you guys always give. If I'm in a darkness and I can't see your light, then it means you're in a bigger darkness. Do you know light is the fastest thing known to man? It travel faster than anything. If your light can't travel to meet me where I am in the darkness, then it's not light, but illusion. |

Majesticniyi: Impressed by what exactly? Unrealistic expectations that killed 2017 for us? The govt expects to raise money from untested means and unrealistic projections....coupled with the remainder raised from foreign borrowing.
I stand to be corrected but isn't that exactly why practically nothing was achieved in 2017? even the opposition couldn't doubt the implementation level of the 2017 budget. The capital spending practically drew us out of recession and put many people back to work. Go figure. You think if all leakages are blocked and tax collection improved , we won't get 70-80% of that projection? The oil benchmark is $45 dollar and the price is improving. Don't you think we might find something to fall back on if price enjoy more stability as predicted by world bank? |
