Tim went shopping today and brought home a chicken. He asked me to dress it for Sunday.

I'm sure I don't know how hens dress for Sunday. I never noticed back on the farm, but I found an old doll dress and its little cute shoes. I thought the hen looked really cute. When Tim saw it, he started counting to ten. Either he was really stressed because of his work, or he wanted the chicken to dance.

When I asked him what was wrong he started crying and shouting out, "Why me? Why me?"

Some families needs rehab more than individuals. My family knows what i can do and what i can not do. Because the man is rich does not mean they should believe him more.

When the story is finally out that he did not do it, (I know it will) what face will they use to tell him sorry?

I bet all they will say is "he forced us to believe him" as if he held a gun to their head.
Africans by nature have poor sense of judgment. Sure some families need rehab more because what they can do to get stomach infrastructure.

Trust them to throw you under the wheel for a rich man.

When the story comes out, if I was this guy, that's when I'll distance myself from my family forever.

May God protect us.

Sorry about your Experience. Life sometimes is really bitter. Not withstanding, I believe you and i want to assure you some people here also believe in you. The society we grew up made us not to speak out and we kind of takes things that way. Suicide is not always the option but people are often push to the wall. The people around you were never your friends and sadly for your family that should stand by you to reject you, i guess that is the most painful part.

When the issue of Tiwa's Husband wanting to committe suicide came along, i remeber discussing with a firend saying for him to wantt to do that, there is something fishy under. fortunately he did not and as usual we all abuse him silly.

you did mention a rehab. you can if you set your mind to it because you will be serving someone like you. Know that you are not alone. You have friend in me.

the family couldn't stand by him cos when the issue is coming from a rich man , he's always right. And besides, there was a video evidence.

What people fail to realise is that Bugatti will probable not sell more that a couple of hundreds of units. They know it is not a consumer item and they may not break even. Just like the Veyron, the Veyron II and the Chiron it will probably be built in limited number. Where it will happen for them is the technology which is far, far more valuable. Once they lock that down in copyrights then they can make billions from Asian and American manufacturers. What is once view is an technology sample and the price tag is to attract positive interest. There are many companies out there that specialise in this. McLaren does this. It makes more money from technology trading than racing or manufacturing.

What pisses me off with Africans is how they react to things. The white man will say, 'what makes the bike cost 12 million'. The black man will say 'what makes the bike not cost 12 million'. Then he goes to a 'burial' and spends 12 million.
your post is everything called education. I'm really thinking differently right now.

How we spend so much burial but little on education tells you why we are backward. I look forward to your post whenever you address our stupidity as black people.

old man, we are talking of modern day football here

Someone that could only score 37 goals when football qqs still at that anything goes level is who you people will not allow us hear word on top him matter

By 2019 AFCON, Kelechi for don surpass that record. As if Rashidi was playing for one reasonable club in his hey days, one Portuguese club that won't even be found in the English third division. You want to compare him to a guy that has 2 Champions League goals DESPITE the bench

Maybe na una tie Kelechi destiny to City that you think he won't move
lol@old man. OK , I answer to that since you've given me that honour.

What's modern football without what you tagged the olden days football?
If you had taken your time to check the football of old times and now, you'd have seen that football was purely an individual efforts and strength- this makes it difficult than what we have now.
That was why it was so easy to have world's best footballers or players who are qualified for this status spread across the continents unlike the "Ronaldo/Messi" kind of stage and era we are having. If you're old enough and exhume football fanaticism like we do, you'd agree with me that football has lost its element and the real quality waned .

If you think scoring 37 goals for the national team is not worth the honour , tell me how many players have scored much goals for their national team at a time scoring goals was difficult in football just like he did.

If you say his number of goals should not speak for him because he played for a Portuguese club that cannot play in 3rd tier of English league , have you gone to read the history of that club? I'm sure you never gave Porto a chance cos you felt they were not a match to any club in England- they won the champions league before Chelsea could do it.

Or , are we saying because maradona played for Napoli and Napoli sank to the Serie B or C for many years...though came back to serie A some years back and have remained on the scene ever since, that messi is better than Maradonna ?

I like the fact that as a lady, you love football. So I had to take out time to write this long.

Sometimes, all this our girls in the north form too much , thereby creating creating opening for their friends to play simple and lure their fiance away from them.

I find it hard to refrain from commenting on this post and I hope the opening line about 'village' whatever is just a joke but even at that it is clear it appeals to a certain mindset that is just base, unproductive, lazy and mediocre. Such a person, a so called engineer or technician I had a meeting with last night and all he could do was to reel out excuses and complaints as to why he could not implement my ideas and execute my requests.

Why do Nigerians, the African have this lazy way of thinking through things, inverted way of appraising things that has made us slaves when we can be in charge of our destiny. The mindset that counts only the cost of things rather than the result of things, the affordability rather than the production, the price tag rather than the input can never progress.

What I see is 12 million naira worth of education, technology, innovation and enterprise rolled in an excellent product that will be the fore runner of many more that will serve all humanity well into the future at all levels.

Carbon fibre technology is highly expensive but its application to planes, cars, ships and trains has dramatically cut down fuel consumption in those equipment due to its lightness and high strength applications. If we think it does not bother us then we look at the price of oil our lazy minds depend on and see the correlation between their massive investments and their future prosperity and our future poverty.

They don't build these things for us to criticise or admire. They build them to advance themselves and ensure their future prosperity by moving away from dependency to people like us. 12 million is too small a price for a sustainably profitable future. Almost every technology on a regular car today started out in multimillion dollar motorsport investments most blacks consider as irrelevant. Carbon fibre is the only thing keeping Boeing Aerospace from being crushed by Airbus Industries. Technology is the only guarantee for future survival and it has a steep price. The question is, what do Africans spend their money on.
Brilliant post! I read your post and had to modify mine where I said "nonsense".

To answer your your question, Africans spend their money on women, beer/wine and club. The leaders steal from them to better the life of citizens of other country by going to stash the stolen money in their economy.

Do you see us investing in any research to help us fight certain problem like epidemic or insurgency?

We had Ebola last time, we rushed to the west for help and begged like sub-humans until it was contained with their help. The question is, what are we doing to avoid future occurrence and what efforts are we making to put fund into educational research or research in the field of medicine where we can actually fight any epidemic?

It's tough to be Africans!

Caseless, if you claim the list is endless and you have listed all these things above, WHY has Nigerians' sufferings tripled since this administration took over?

The aim of good governance is for the benefit of the masses. As long as inflation is still in the double digits, companies are folding up, still no constant electricity, forex still double what it used to be barely 2 years ago. AS LONG as these things remain, the verdict remains that this government has failed.

An achieving government does not need lists to speak for it, no, the people will speak for it.

No worries about the belated reply, take your time.
the question should be , are they doing anything to save the situation? Yes, they're !

I hope you're not saying if Jonathan was here would have been better. Everything you see happening now, especially recession, was predicted as far back as 2013 by okonjo iweala and subtly analyzed by sanusi.

Both the immediate and remote causes of what we are going through are not unknown , but people choose to place everything on Buhari even though he's not completely innocent.

As per power, what do you want the government to do? Take it away from the private hands Jonathan left it? Or the intervention by federal government with over 700billion earmarked for that doesn't indicate an effort to you? Their hands are tied , like fashola said and they're doing what they can.
