BackDatAssUp: The Senate can not stop him from naming his ministers. The Senate only ratifies their appointments.
And for your info, the outgoing Senate can still screen his ministers. If Buhari and APC had their house in order the list would have been submitted by Monday 1st June. wow ! Long time no see. So when you saw that pdp was going to lose, you resorted to using alt account? Lilly-livered tanoid! |

graciandubuisi: Just like in presidential where there's no void vote a large place like Kano. Leave matter abeg when I saw ur last post before this, I wanted to reply you, but I realised on the spot that you know very little about politics. Over 5 million people registered in kano, but over 2 million people voted in the election. But in rivers over 90% of registered voters voted. Check your SE and see the 'un-smart' way of rigging in that region. Almost Everybody in enugu voted for gej and no 'invalid' votes. SMS! |

DerrickzB: You were talking like you got it on cam.. bro.. the evidence.. how sure are you that its not biased.. or contradictory.. let's wait and see.. haven't you heard that just 200k people were accredited in an election that wike polled 1.3 million votes? What evidence do u need again? |
Politics › Re: Wike Has A Short Time In Office – Rivers APC by Caseless: 5:06pm On May 31, 2015 |
Flets: Even Buhari knows that he can't tamper with the collective will of the rivers people.
There is no way it can be justified that <100k votes is greater than over 1million votes. Any tribunal or court that tries to prove otherwise will be exposed for who they are.
Even if the elections are re-run 100 times, APC stands 0 chance but the pronouncement of a re-run shall trigger the agony for the incoming govt.
This time the command center will be split into three, one in Maiduguri, one in Niger Delta and the other in Biafra. And lets see how successful they will be managing three hot fronts.
Leave Rivers State Alone. you are missing something here. 200k+ people were accredited and actually voted in the election. The tribunal is going to work with this figure and declare who has the highiest votes winner based on the 200k votes and not the the 1million ballot thumb-printed by pdp and their thugs. The election recorded average national turn-out of 50-55% , but in rivers state, it was almost 100%. Haba! |

peleson: The two posters above me (seo and radgenez) are insane! U'r argument shows that saraki an akume should not be favoured as Senate president abi. In the history of abia state, onu remains the best governor. In the history of Nigeria, onu during his time won the best governor in the whole entire nigeria. Onu during his time was the Chairman of governors forum. Onu during his time, was the most exposed and reverend governor. Onu during his time, no collegue of his as governor has a better qualification. Onu was a star. Not a noise maker, onu is a builder! A silent mover with lots of blueprint. Onu is a solution carrier! A first class brain from a first class school. Onu is better than the people u call the best today! Onu cannot be questioned nor classed amongst ur heroes! Onu is way better i've always liked that man, but I don't know much on his achievements and, when I saw the post from those 2 f00ls up there, it sparked a negative thought about onu in me. |

Do you think buhari should look away from our greatest problem at the moment? Do you know what the world would have tagged him if had not mentioned boko haram in his ' inaugural' speech? Politics › Re: Who Set 2015 As End Of Amnesty Program? by Caseless: 3:41am On May 30, 2015 |
Truckpusher: I have said it before and I will say it again: If the FRN is sincere in dealing with the Niger Delta problem, there won't be need for any form of amnesty.
You can't continuously pay some hoodlums to stay at home and do nothing except to birth another set of hoodlums, but again if Goodluck Jonathan had refused to implement Yaradua's amnesty programs and opted for a people oriented program the same self proclaimed owners of Nigeria that hates the goose that lays the golden egg would have been calling for his head - So, like an orphan he decided to follow a popular policy which has not really helped matter.
Buhari should embark on infrastructural development programs ,untainted skills acquisition, scholarships set aside for both vocational training and other sustainable human developmental projects and watch militancy and youth restiveness disappear for good, anything less than this with the usual lip service that has been the modus operandi of the Nigerian state will give birth to another bitter struggle that would be unprecedented in the history of this country.
A people friendly policy should be slammed on NDDC to ensure that money meant for the development of the Niger Delta is well utilized and not to settle some barking dogs that are parading themselves as leaders.
I have said mine - because we can't continuously watch helplessly as our environment is being used to subsidize the entire country with nothing to show for it.
And its high time we look into resource control and fiscal federalism. wow! This could pass for your most truth-littered and fact-driven post on nairaland. *bookmarks it* |
