Debby soon brought good luck because two weeks after she was born, I got an invitation to interview in an independent television station. I prepared very well for the interview. Despite my lack of previous experience in electronic medium, I was shortlisted.

Few days after the interview, I was employed to work as education correspondent. The remunerations were mouth-watering and I was glad to get the job. New Time television would undoubtedly offer me the opportunity explore my dream of working for a television station.

I learnt fast and put my best in the job. As education correspondent, I was on a familiar turf, so to say. From state Ministry of Education to the federal ministry; higher institutions, external examination bodies, and the likes, I became immersed in my job.

Few weeks after I started, my first major and intriguing story was a sex tape scandal from Atlascope University, a private university. The leaked recording went viral and the onus fell on me to investigate. I went to the campus and made discreet enquiries. I finally met the young lady, the under graduate student, who made the tape. It was a secret video recording of the sex scene she had with a senior lecturer in her department.

The publicity forced the university to conduct its own investigation. At the end of the enquiries, the lecturer a senior lecturer in his mid-fifties - was dismissed from service and charged to court for sexual assault.
Now, I found my job really interesting.

Three years after I started the job, I continued to be doing very well. The news editor and some other senior colleagues attested to this. I had got some written commendations and even some awards for my diligent work. I might still be behind some veterans I met on the job, but I was not doing bad in my news coverage, investigations and exposes. One September morning, the News Editor called me to his office. A lady was already seated on one of the chairs facing him. I mumbled my greeting and took a seat.

'Yes, I sent for you," the Editor, a young, balding man began. 'The young lady here, Miss Ette, has come to do her IT with us. Shell be working with you. She read Mass Communication in the university and had come to learn the practical aspect with us. Youre to put her through throughout her IT."

I nodded affirmatively. "That will be no problem, sir," I answered and turned to fully look at the lady in question. Wait a minute, the face was familiar. I stared a bit more. Was this not one of my former students?

It seemed she instantly recognized me as she smiled. "Hello, Mr. Mayo Stephen", she greeted.

"Hello, lady. I definitely knew you somewhere. Where was that?"

She smiled expansively while the editor looked on. "So, you knew each other?"

She nodded. "Yes, Uncle Mayo here was my former lesson teacher."

Now, I got it. This lady was either Martha or Margaret.

Onome shook Bukky awake the next morning. It was very unusual for Bukky to oversleep so there must be something wrong she thought.

"Bukky, Tade is here and downstairs. He said you promised him breakfast. Are you alright?"

"Yes, just totally exhausted. I didn't sleep well. Have him come up while I jump in the shower."

As she was opening the shower door, Tade walked into the bathroom. They hugged and kissed. "Honey, I'm sorry I wasn't up when you came. I didn't sleep at all most of the night."

"I'm sorry, Bukky. I should have waited to tell you."

"No, you did the right thing. I'd have wanted to know as soon as you did."

"I'll start the coffee and breakfast for us if you want."

"That'd be wonderful. Fix anything you want. I'll be down in a few minutes."

After showering and dressing, Bukky walked straight for the coffee. Tade had prepared oatmeal with dried fruit and pecans.

"Tade, I've been thinking about the possibilities and I'm worried about all of them. When I turned the light off last night, I felt God with me in the room. I prayed as sincerely as I know how that this would turn out good. I trust God and have to believe that He is in control."

"I do too. Honey, this caught me by surprise but in the back of my mind I knew there was a possibility this would happen. When she disappeared, I knew she must have gone back into that dark world of drugs and prostitution. Usually that results in a person dying young but not always. Something happened that caused her to turn around and save herself. Maybe God saved her for some reason."

"I'm so afraid she'll re-capture your heart."

"That's not going to happen. I know I've not made a commitment to you with a proposal and a ring. But I will commit to you right now that I will do that and, if you will have me, we will be together for as long as we live. You and Vivian are my reason for living and that's not going to change. Deola will never come between us."

"I know you believe that as we stand here. But I don't underestimate the power of a woman who appears helpless and can only get help from a man who used to love her unconditionally. A mother's love for her child is very powerful and she will demand to see Vivian and appeal to your sympathy to allow it."

"I know. I've been thinking about that all night. But let's see what happens. I'll talk with you before I make any decisions concerning Vivian."

* * *

After breakfast, Tade went upstairs to call Vivian and get some sleep before his afternoon classes. Bukky left to catch the university bus for her morning classes.

The sisters arrived about an hour before Dayo and Nike were due. After setting up the lighting, sound system and computers, they tested the cameras and quickly reviewed the recordings from the previous session.

All concluded that they had plenty of great shots for editing. Bukky then brought up a new thought about the shoot.

"I've been thinking today about creating a soft-core version of the session for them to view. Anybody can shoot a penis ejaculating all over a woman or a vagina being pounded. That's all over the Internet. But I think our work should be about the beauty of sex, not the hardcore jerk-off scenes everyone is doing."

Roli asked, "Do you think that's what they want?"

"I don't know but I'm going to create it and show it to them in addition to the hardcore version."

Onome said, "Let me understand this. Rather than shooting at the angle to capture his cock going in and out of her pussy, we would shoot from the angle of him between her legs, her legs in the air and their bodies showing them having sex without their genitals showing."

"Right, except tonight we need both angles. One for the soft version and one for the hard,"

Bukky put in. "I want to also focus on her non-verbal expressions and his face as they have intercourse. Even though she's wearing a mask, you can still record the movement of her mouth, her nostrils flaring, etc. I want the power of their emotions to show, not only the physical act."

Gloria nearly chuckled. Her niece, though cool, sometimes behaved like she knew more that she should know.

“And what did you know?”

Mosun allowed some seconds before she said the next words. “I know you’re crying before a man has said he’s no longer interested in you.”

Gloria sat upright on the bed. Now, how could this little one had made such a guess?

“Yes,” Mosun went on. “He’s already with another lady and you were too late to reclaim him.”

Gloria opened her mouth. Now, she was aghast. “How, how did you know all these?”

"It doesn’t matter how I knew,” Mosun replied. “But I can help you get him back.”

Gloria was astonished. “But how could you? What d’you know? How?”

“Don’t underestimate me,” the girl said. “Don’t.”

All of a sudden, Gloria felt some shiver ran through her body. She could tell now that Mosun was not just an ordinary girl.

“Alright,” Gloria said. “Don’t be cross. How can you help me?”

Again, Mosun allowed another seconds of silence. “I can help you to get him back. But there’s something you have to do first.”

“And what’s that?” Gloria asked, quite anxiously and hastily.

Mosun stared at her and grinned. Then in a conspiratorial move went to Gloria’s left hair and whispered to it.

“What does that mean?” Gloria asked, more in astonishment.

“It means you’ll be like one of us and you will have dominion over your man.”

Gloria could not believe that the girl she had been living with for years could claim such powers.

“Maybe you want to think over it,” Mosun said and moved to the door. “When you’ve made up your mind, let me know.”

“No, wait,” Gloria replied. She was still bewildered but she tried to steady herself. What Mosun was asking her to do was not much. She had given the condition that for Gloria to be helped, she must join her ‘group.’

That was the condition. If joining was going to be helpful, why not join?

“Okay,” Gloria said. “I’ll join. If that will make me to have him back, and will help in some other ways, I’ll gladly join.”

Young as she was, Mosun nodded the way a mother would do to a daughter that had said something impressive and tenable.

On Saturday morning, Dayo and Tosin still lolled in bed till after seven. It was weekend and there was nothing like waking up early to prepare for work. Over the night, they had a very fascinating love-making sessions.

They were moments he cherished. He had no doubts that many of such moments would still come his way.

“What will my darling have for breakfast?” Tosin asked, smiling at him.

“What about bread, fried eggs and tea?” he prompted.

It was a good suggestion. She nodded and went to the kitchen to get the meal done. While she was still in the kitchen, his mind strayed to Gloria.

No what exactly would make her to change her mind and come back to him, after he had already given her the red card? Come to think of it, Glory was not bad in any way.

Her flaw was that unbridled jealousy. She needed to tame that her jealousy before it spoilt something good.

Soon, Tosin emerged from the kitchen with a tray containing the breakfast.

“Food is ready,” she said quite unnecessarily. They went to the dining-table. In what had become a usual practice, she mouthed a short prayer before they started to eat.

“I hope there’s no too much salt in the eggs,” she said.

He knew she wanted some commendation.

“Everything is okay,” he said. “It’s delicious.”

As they continued to eat, his mind went to Gloria again. She was not a bad lady, his mind argued.

Buhari orders probe into shooting in Aso Villa

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has ordered a probe into alleged security breach inside the Presidential Villa.

This was made known in a statement by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, on Sunday.

There had been reports of gunshots and a breach of security within the Presidential Villa recently.

The situation was said to have been as a result of a squabble among family members and officials of the Presidency.

The statement noted that some staff and occupants of the State House have been arrested in relation to the incident by the police.

The statement read in part, ”This is to assure all and everyone that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari, is not, and was not at any time in any form of danger arising, either from deadly infections or the reported incident by security personnel which is currently under investigation.

”This particular incident happened outside the main residence of the President.

”Armed guards and other security personnel assigned to the State House receive the necessary training of especially weapons handling and where they come short, their relevant agencies have their rules and regulations to immediately address them.

”Having authorised the proper investigation to be carried out into this unfortunate incident by the Police, the President has acted in compliance with the rule of law.

”That a minor occurrence is being used by some critics to justify attacks on the government and the person of President Muhammadu Buhari beggars belief.

”In this particular instance, the President says the law should be allowed to take its course.”

Politics'APC Should Apologize To Edo People' - Ex- PDP Chairman by CasNova(op): 1:22pm On Jun 13, 2020
A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Edo State, Chief Dan Orbih, has asked the All Progressives Congress, to apologise to Edo people over its varying positions on Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Orbih, the immediate past chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo, made the call in Benin while reacting to the disqualification of Obaseki from APC Governorship primaries for June 22.

The screening committee for the ruling party had announced that the Edo governor was unfit to contest the primaries, saying it could not vouch for some certificates he claimed to possess.

He noted that at one time the governor was qualified to govern the state and was praised for being a financial expert.

“Now the party has changed position essentially because of the problems the governor has with the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

“For me, the fact is that the people of Edo have not only been deceived, but they have also been made to bear the brunt of the deficiency in governance on account of the distractions that the governor has been subjected to through the dispute with the national chairman.

“The party as such owes it as a moral duty to apologise to the people of Edo State before it can be taken seriously in any competitive bid for the votes of the electorate.

“We are sick and tired of APC’s serial certificate scandals,” the chieftain said.

Gloria was adamant.

“Can’t you just tell her to go away? Can’t you tell her that your real love is back?”

He felt like bursting into laughter. Why, she made it look so simple, like asking a kid to recite A, B, C.

“I’m sorry, that won’t be possible, Gloria. You just have to move on by getting another love.”

He suddenly felt there was no need to prolong the matter with her again.

“Best of love, Gloria.” He turned and made to return to his door.

“Wait,” she said urgently. “You mean you won’t give me a second chance at all? You want to end our relationship just like that?”

“I’m sorry, Gloria, but at this stage, there’s nothing I can do about it.”

He turned the handle of his door and stepped inside his sitting-room. Gloria remained rooted on the same spot. So that was it. She had received the red card without any ceremony about it.

Yes, it was partially her fault that she acted rashly the last time she was with him. But why must he too act rashly by getting another lover? Did his act not confirm that he was a flirt all along?

She had wanted to quit the relationship, but in the last couple of days, she kept having the feeling that she should go back to him and reconcile.

The feelings had become strong and that was why she had come. She had imagined that he would gladly receive her back. Now, see the disappointment she had received.

But then, she was not the kind that easily give up. She would not relent until she got to a desirable ending.

When Dayo rejoined Tosin in the house, he decided to reveal who Gloria was even before Tosin asked.

“That was my ex-girlfriend,” he put in. “She broke up with me, now she wants us to be back.”

Tosin did not say a word, so he went on: “Of course, I told her it’s too late. I’ve already got for myself the most delectable lady in the world and no one can change that fact and reality.”

At this, Tosin beamed in smile. “My own is, let no lady come and spoil the love between us o.”

He moved to wrap his arm around her. “Don’t you worry my sweetheart. No lady will ever come between you and me. That is one promise I’m going to keep. Trust me.”

* * *

When Gloria left Dayo’s place, she remained downcast as she made her way back Ikeja where she lived with her aunty. It was not difficult to perceive that she was in a bad mood.

She went straight to her room where she silently cried and tried to comfort herself. It was funny but she had never cried over a man before. She had also never felt for one the way she felt for Dayo.

There was a soft rap on the door. Quickly, she dabbed her eyes and tried to look unruffled. The door opened and her little niece, Mosun came in. the ten years old girl came to her bedside and starred at Gloria. Her stare was so long that Gloria found it disconcerting.

“Yes? Why’re you staring at me like that?”

Mosun nodded. “I know why you are in this sad mood,” she blurted out.

Gloria nearly chuckled. Her niece, though cool, sometimes behaved like she knew more that she should know.

I thought of smacking her, but I knew she would not fancy such an amorous gesture. I put my right hand on her tingling bum and rubbed it briefly. I parted her legs, but it seemed the gap was still tight.

I raised her left leg high from the knee. My hand moved from the bust to the waist line and to the targeted groin.

By now, despite her seeming lack of keenness, she was dripping wet. I dipped my finger inside her and she looked shocked at this lasciviousness.

Deliberately, the finger slipped deeper in. I remembered I was good with my fingers in things like this. Deftly, I probed the sensitive Instruments. They got her moaning as I fingered her folds and teased the labia and vulvas.

She could feel my naked torso against her belly. I thought of playing scissors with her but I knew she would back out of that sophisticated technique.

Finally, my hand held my dick to guide it inside her. I could not afford to waste time further. I made her legs further wide open and slid my cock fully inside her. It slipped in easily. I started the thrusting and she let out a sound as my big dick filled her.

I then started moving gently and slowly in and out. I could feel the contraction of her inner muscles as she adjusted her body to the new motion.

As usual, my dear Bola could not respond satisfactorily to the rhythm of the movement. I just had to teach her how to do that better and she just had to improve. I decided to do the thrusting in slow but deep strokes. I held onto her big bum as my body moved pleasantly on her body.

She was not a total novice with nothing to offer. That was an understatement. She contracted her muscles at the pelvic area. Her pussy was like contrasting encirclement that I could very much feel round my dick.

That act was certainly a hot one that pushed me to the cliff of climax. I caved in as I let out an eruption of hot larva of semen. The whole load was deposited inside her, but who said I could not do so to my darling wife?

* * *

Ten weeks after our wedding, Bola informed me she went for a pregnancy test and she was eight-week pregnant.

Really? I exclaimed, moving over to her to give her a hug. Oh, thats great news. Im so happy.
Indeed, I was happy. In Africa, especially in Nigeria, the joy of marriage is productivity; so I was glad there was no delay in that.

I would not be the only one that would be gladdened by the news. I was sure my parents, especially my mother, would also be gladdened.

The following week, she went to register for antenatal. As the pregnancy developed, I gave her the best supportive role a man could give his darling wife. I ensured that she was not in any way stressed.

It was on a very rainy day in the middle of July the following year when Bola delivered a baby girl. I was not freaky about gender, so I welcome the baby with full gladness.

We named her Deborah. Debby soon brought good luck because two weeks after she was born, I got an invitation to interview in an independent television station. I prepared very well for the interview.

Despite my lack of previous experience in electronic medium, I was shortlisted.

The girls joined the guys after they were dressed. Vivian took her game and without any delay, the tournament was organized. Vivian, Dele and Ike challenged the three sisters with the winners getting to eat whoopee pies fed bite by bite to them by the losers.

Vivian came up with the idea for that bet, of course. It would be the best two out of three games to determine the winner.

Bukky said, "There will be others killed, I'm sure. None of the hits goes unanswered."

The victors cheered when Ike caused the first stack to fall, giving that game to the sisters. Vivian stared at him, obviously not pleased with his performance.

When the cheers died, Vivian said, "Don't worry Mr. Ike. You'll get better." The sisters and Dele hooted and hollered. Even Ike couldn't help but laugh.

The second game lasted much longer and Onome caused the precarious stack to fall. The two guys and Vivian cheered and gave high-fives all around.

Dele said, "Don't worry Onome, you'll get better." Vivian and the guys laughed. Onome pretended to be hurt and rubbed her eyes like she was crying.

Vivian went around the table and hugged her. "I'm sorry Aunt Onome. Please don't cry."

Onome smiled and hugged her. "I'm not crying, sweetheart. I want Mr. Dele to feel bad for what he said."

Vivian turned to Dele and asked, "Do you feel bad?"

"I do, Vivian." Dele stood and walked around to Onome and apologized with a kiss.

Everyone grinned and the guys re-stacked the wooden blocks for the third and decisive game. It lasted even longer and the blocks wobbled several times as non-supporting blocks were eased out of the stack.

It finally was Vivian's turn and she looked scared. It appeared that no blocks could be removed without the stack crashing down.

She finally reached for one near the top, which prompted Bukky to ask, "Are you sure about that one, sweetheart?"

"Yes Mummy." Vivian took her little finger and slowly touched the block. To everyone's surprise, it moved. It seemed to take forever but Vivian was persistent and eased it out of the stack using steady hands.

Everyone let out a collective sigh as the block was extracted. Then it was Bukky's turn as Vivian returned to her seat. Ike reached over and hugged her and grinned.

The three sisters collectively studied the remaining stack. It was slowly swaying back and forth even without anyone touching it. Just the air currents from the central heating system were causing it to teeter.

After at least a minute, the best one was chosen and Bukky began trying to move it. Almost immediately, the stack leaned slowly, as if it was in slow motion, and crashed unceremoniously to the table. Dele and Ike jumped up and cheered as they hugged Vivian.

Onome shook Bukky awake the next morning. It was very unusual for Bukky to oversleep so there must be something wrong she thought.

The door was not locked, so the person turned the knob and entered the sitting-room. No, it was not Saidat that had come to give him a mischievous message. This time, the intruder was Gloria.
He was surprised to see her.

“Hello, Gloria. What a surprise that you’re here.”

Gloria took one look at Tosin and sighed. Unlike the last time she was there, she took everything coolly.

“Good evening,” she greeted them.

Dayo nodded. Now, he was in a fix. What was Gloria doing in the house? Had she not hinted that she was no longer interested in the relationship and that she had moved on? Why then had she made a sudden re-appearance?

She faced him. “I will like to see you for a minute.”

He gulped. “Me?”

Gloria nodded. “Of course, you.”

He sighed. What game was she playing, or was she about to play? Her case could not be like Saidat’s, he thought. Unlike Saidat, Gloria lived miles away. But what exactly did she want to see him for?

He stopped eating and washed his hands. “You will have to excuse me, my darling,” he told Tosin who looked on with a puzzled look. “Nothing to worry about,” he quickly added. “Everything will be alright.”

He stood up and went to the door. Gloria preceded him out to the passageway. He gently closed his sitting-room door behind him.

“What is the problem, Gloria?”

“I’ve come to apologize for the way I behaved the other time,” she stated.

He was bemused. “Is that so?”

“Yes. I behaved rather childishly. Please forgive my erratic way.”

He grinned and shrugged. “It’s okay, Gloria. We human beings are always imperfect. Of course, you’re forgiven.”

“Thank you. I also want things to continue as they were.”

“You mean as lovers?” He shook his head. “I’m sorry, events have taken over that. The lady you saw in my flat is my lover now.”

“But how could you replace me so soon? How could you bring another lover in so fast?”

“How could you behave the way you did in the first place?” he parried. “You should have thought of the possibility of this before you behaved the way you did. Any way, it’s too late for us to come together and be lovers again. That won’t work.”

Gloria was adamant.

PoliticsCAN Blows Hot, Says Nigeria Belongs To Us All; Not Miyetti Allah by CasNova(op): 4:36pm On Jun 07, 2020
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has warned Miyetti Allah, from further using statements capable of destroying the nation, noting that the statement credited to it, was capable of tearing the nation apart.

Miyetti Allah leader was accused of saying that the group owns Nigeria and has the right to do anything it wishes.

Condemning the statement, Rev John Joseph Hayab, Vice-Chairman of CAN, 19 Northern States and FCT, said in a statement made available to Vanguard in Kaduna on Sunday, that Nigeria does not belong to any ethnic group, section or religion but to everybody.

He said the newspaper story credited to the National President of one of the groups of Miyetti Allah who was quoted to have said that “Nigeria belongs to Fulani and they will rule forever” confirmed and identified those who do not wish Nigeria to live in peace and unity.

Part of the statement read: “Our stance is that no well-meaning individual should use the name of an association or platform like MiYetti Allah to make such serious divisive statements like the one above.”

“The truth is that Nigeria does not belong to any ethnic group, section or religion but to every one of us. Making such false claims as that of MiYetti Allah’s President only create tension and fuels crisis,” he said.

CAN therefore, called on the Federal Government through the DG SSS and IGP to have a session with the ethnic superiority champion to “school him on the diversity of Nigeria and the need for restraint from such reckless statements”.

“All well-meaning members of the Miyatti Allah group need to urgently disassociate themselves from the provocative statement linked to the group as proof that the speaker is not playing a script.”

“Without a doubt, there are members of Miyetti Allah who love this country genuinely, craving to see the country grow in peace and develop in every sphere reckon that the statement credited to the group’s President is not a popular view, as such, needs to be publicly opposed.”

“Nigeria’s problems are numerous; from insecurity to bad economy and now the Covid-19. CAN, therefore, does not want to add to the barrage of problems the country face by letting unscrupulous people make grave and ungodly utterances that have dangerous security implications.”
