ChybuzzDD: The biggest menace we have in the southeast is the security agents, and i witnessed what they're doing over there in broad daylight
If the the security situation is as bad as you guys are alleging from one small room in lagos, why do every Nigerian security man wants to go there and make money from motorists?
Would they be lined up everywhere on the roads calmly bargaining and picking up money from these road users in an war zone? And these include even the soldiers on the at their fake checkpoints.
Would they feel safe to do that in a where there's actually a serious security crisis?? You understand what is going on, they always believe that Igbos are rich, therefore, they most collect whatever they can. I'm indifferent to their Issues with Simon Ekpa, two factions with guns, my own, make dem release Nnamdi Kanu and be graciously committed to every extant laws and conventions that exist or has significant input into Nigeria Affairs. If Kanu wants referendum, give him and stop holding Nigeria together with guns and Super Tucanos while offering underdevelopment and rascalous criminality. |

There are over 18 Biafra agitating groups, killing or arresting one Man will lead to the foot soldiers shifting allegiance to the next GOC/C-I-C. Kanu is more lenient than anyone. Ralph Uwazuruike is a milder agitator than Kanu and Ekpa is a hard-core man. Kanu may seem powerful but he's calmer and more likely to assert more influence in the international and internal structure of these organisations. |

Those manipulating Peter Obi to openly criticize Ugm are sick upstairs, I swear to God.
You expect a public figure and a famous politician like Obi, with known properties within Anambra and the entire South East, as well as Nigeria and outside of Africa, to publicly criticize and talk down on Ugm, so that the manipulators will destroy his hard earned properties under the guise of Ugm. But I trust Peter Obi to be wiser than the manipulators, and keep dishing out a very carefully written statement.
That has been their plan all this while, so that when Peter Obi talks I'll of the Ugm, the opportunistic manipulators will swing into action under the guise of Ugm to attach, destroy and loot Peter Obi's properties.

Digriz: I believe that Nigeria's chances of success are severely hindered by the prevailing tribalism among the three two major ethnic groups. This type of mindset is detrimental, and unless addressed, Nigeria may continue to face challenges. Even if an Igbo man is a saint and exceptionally qualified to lead, a Yoruba person might still harbor reservations solely based on ethnicity. Tribalism is undeniably a significant problem, with the Yoruba people being the major contributor. Perhaps, considering the possibility of allowing each tribe to pursue its path separately could be a solution, as it appears that a united Nigeria is currently facing insurmountable challenges.( Make everyone answer his papa name) The love for one another for south can't work, and things are getting worse every day. The south south oil and gas fields that you want to GRAB for Igbos - the end-game and raison d etre of your Biafra scam - is it yours?
THIEF.
The people of the south south will be minorities under Igbo majority rule in your fantasy republic.
You are totally anti-democratic even as a minority in Nigeria, as witnessed by Obidient and IPOB fascism, where all opposition is considered enmity, so one can best imagine what you will be like as a MAJORITY group in a 'Biafra'.
You will surely make war on the south south to eliminate them from their lands, and take over full control of their territory. That is your real, crazed, long-term objective.
The south south people know this, which is why they want absolutely nothing to do with you or your crazed 'Biafra' fantasy! Okay Sir. |
Politics › Re: Here Is The ONLY Reason Why Igbos Want 'Biafra' by cassyrooy(m): 11:56pm On Sep 15, 2023 |
Reflect7: Oil and gas resources of the South-South which provide the bulk of the 50 billion dollar annual budget of Nigeria
If Igbos were to get the 'Biafra' of their fantasy it would suddenly be that Nigeria would have a population of 180 million people with a budget of 5 billion dollars if we're lucky, while 'Biafra' would have 45 million people with an annual budget of 50 billion dollars plus. So One Nigeria is an extortionist entity or what? Countries that have resources develop differently, those who don't have these resources still find ways to advance irrespective of their environment. Stop looking at the resource benefits. Igboland has a different agenda so to speak, Nigeria operates a different approach towards that agenda. Let me ask you a political question, which state are you from? Please answer and I'll give you a veritable answer regarding what resources you'd find in your state and how to harness it for your own development instead of grabbing oil that's not yours in the first place. |

franchasofficia: Most of you don't have sense. Just read what you typed and relate it with the topic, they have no comparison.
As long as Nigeria remains one country, every Nigerian have the right to live freely anywhere in Nigeria he prefers.
Why do Igbos relocate to other parts of Nigeria?
They are looking for bigger economic and business opportunities to explore since the Nigerian government controlled by none Igbos since the end of the civil war indirectly made federal policies to shortchange southeast region's development.
If Southeast were to be a country of its own for instance, they will create their own capital city, create their own seaport or riverport or whatever, create their own international airports, create their own unique government agencies and parastatals. These things will create more economic and business opportunities in Southeast as a new country and Igbos will naturally begin to relocate back to Southeast. And then, other regions which are now a different country can make laws banning Igbos from entering their country or control how Igbos come into their country.
But with the way Nigeria is right now as one country, whereby Nigerian government explore and take resources like crude oil in Imo, Abia, Anambra, and other resources and then share it among the 36 states of Nigeria and FCT based on the population of each state, which then makes Lagos, Kano and other high density states to receive more of the federal government allocation which came from resources taken from Southeast, Southsouth and other regions, making none Igbo regions more advantaged and favored than Southeast region, so u shouldn't be talking about Igbos relocating and living in all parts of Nigeria when u already know why.
Just expel Southeast from Nigeria and let them go and kill themselves and suffer in their stubborn country they have been agitating to have, whether they hate each other shouldn't bother u, it should rather excite you that since they hate each other, they will kill each other in their country while you guys laugh at them from your own beautiful country that no longer have stubborn Igbos init.
This will also prevent Igbos from tarnishing the good image of Yorubas, Hausa-Fulanis and other Nigerians because when they now carry their usual drugs abroad, Nigeria wont be mentioned but Igbo country. I think you none Igbos ought to celebrate the exit of stubborn Igbos from Nigeria and not give one million reasons why Igbos should remain with you in Nigeria You've so excellently defeated their usual lines. It's straightforward, imagine one Chinedu swallowing drugs and get arrested abroad, na same government whose passport he carries that will be called, retrained and tasked to eliminating such illegal trades. Igbo culture abhor crimes, but a whole lot of these crimes succeed because power to control them are not culturally inclined or domiciled in the same culture. Many wouldn't understand this. |

StreetFight: We will not allow an independent drugs trafficking nation in West Africa. If you can get land near Mexico or Columbia, then you can move all your people there. But here in West Africa, Biafra will never be an independent nation whose sour e if FIREX will be drugs trafficking, human trafficking, baby factory, and fake drugs manufacturing. Never will that be allowed in West Africa The US didn't "not allow LatAm" in the Americas. They're dealing with every situation while those countries improve their economy, social life and political issues. The US don't negotiate with terrorists but they have enough arsenal to ensure they're not invaded or attacked. Japan madness made them violate US security and Hiroshima/Nagasaki humbled them, today, they've focused onto technology and sports. Igbo madness is a problem for me as an individual given the identity it destroys but in a country like Nigeria, where ideological differences are stark clear, approaching this same problem will become problematic as we have differing ideological stance. So bros, poverty is a threat to Igbos, political strife is another fuel, social and economic exclusion adds to these. Igbos need to attain a minimum of 80% literacy rate across it populace so that full sustainable development can stay, it's difficult in Nigeria where people believe in "school na scam". |
