For the fact that Tinubu who has not gone to school all his useless life, but used dubious means to acquired his wealth and bought his way to the top doesn't mean that every successful Igbo business men are Tinubu, don't mistake them.
I stop reading your trash when you mentioned Chukwuma innocent first In your clownish post. Innoson who worked as a computer science teacher in Haydon school, pinner, united kingdom, is whom you say had no formal education? Lot of other people mentioned there had formal education and are billion times better than that self acclaimed dumbed professor , with foolish white hairs.
Batidiots and foolishness are like Siamese twins, so inseparable. Are you really Ibibio? Cos the way you defend Igbos, I'm still doubting o. |

Had Zik be any wiser, he wouldn't have faught against adding secession clause in our constitution.
You all are here today crying like Egbere on something that you have your handprint all over it Southern Cameroon left without war even when there was no secession clause in the constitution. It's not Zik or anyone's fault, they felt they will fare better with Cameroon and left, Igbos felt they will fare better hence their saying no to Secession which still was a 1:2 votes (Zik 1 : 2 Awo/Balewa). You think if they're oppressive and highhanded, they wouldn't fight against Southern Cameroon exit like "they fought against Secession Clause?" |

By Nnamdi Azikiwe
When the 1954 constitution conference started, my good friend, Chief Obafemi Awolowo tabled a motion to the effect that in the new constitution, provision should be made that any state which feels like seceding should do so. I was opposed to it and said ‘no’ and said that once we have a federation, we are indivisible and perpetual."
https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2020/10/01/nigeria-at-60-why-azikiwe-opposed-secession/amp/ Was there a significant document to this indivisibility clause? There's no "Anti-secession Clause" in the constitution and there are no criminal law for requesting secession, if there are beyond Nnamdi Azikiwe's political viewpoints, please furnish me with it. |

Secondly, it is not a secret that police are targets in southeast. Instead of the police to adopt measures to counter such attacks, they have made extorting money from motorists their priority.
The police value money more than their own lives. Do they even wear bulletproof vests? A people that are barely surviving yet, we paid in almost 7police checkpoints from Ekwulobia/Isuofia in Aguata, Anambra State down to Edo state yesterday. If you try to move from Abakaliki to Aba, you'll pay more. It's terrible. |

ajailer: The British colonialist got involved in the vote too and voted for anti-secession which eventually resulted in the clause being taken out of the constitution.
Azikwe was short sighted by being silly and greedy thinking that SW will be dominated. Even up till now, the generation of his people are still nursing that hope and it’s leading to frustration for them as they are now realizing that it’s a pipe dream. I'll agree with you on that Bolded aspect and forthwith, reserve opinions on anything. Michael Ọkpara is more of an altruistic leader to Easterners than Azikiwe to me. Azikiwe major flaw was that his worldview wasn't founded on the long-term goals of Easterners (inclusive of the Ibibios, Annangs, Efiks, Ogonis, Ijaws and Igbos). He saw Nigeria as a marriage that can be made to continue even if the husband is abusive, provided he paid bride price on her head. |

Raskimonojendor: Azikiwe knows all these yet he ensured that it was treasonous to declare a secession.
Well, the only solution now is for people to lobby through the Senators and HOR members in Abuja. Their governors and State House of Assemblies can apply pressure too..
People can also voluntarily move back to their regions of origin in large numbers. Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello or Tafawa Balewa and Obafemi Awolowo all got that question and it was 1:2 votes (opinionated expression) that Azikiwe supported No Secession, Awo and Bello/Balewa supported Secession. That's 67% pro-Secession as against 33% anti-Secession. Till date, I don't understand how Azikiwe won this argument over facts of weighted votes/expressed opinion, or was 1:2 (33/67) higher than the normal law of quantification? |

I have been looking at you all from my location as you guys have been complaining off recent about the price of gas hitting above 1000/kg. But then, at my location it hasn't gotten to that amount.
I have been praying on daily basis make the price of gas come down, because the last I bought was 715 and what am hearing from you guys isn't encouraging at all. Some even said they bought at 1100/kg. When ever am going to buy, I buy at least 50kg.
So today I went to buy at the gas station... chai.... price na 950/kg. E shock me.
I can vividly remember 2019/2020 when I was buying at 300-400/kg... Now 950.

Politics › Re: Who Are The Agbor People Of Anioma? by cassyrooy(m): 8:01pm On Oct 11, 2023 |
Abagworo: Igboland reached Benin so he was a native of wherever he lived. Chima was from Igbo territory under Benin rule at the time . Many Igbos in the East migrated from the West and many in the West migrated from the East but Anioma and Southeast were always occupied by Igbos since thousands of years ago.
Many might find it difficult to comprehend but the reality is that Igboland on the West of River Niger at a time came under Benin rule and were forced to pay tributes to Oba of Benin even though they were clearly distinguishable from the Edo tribes. This made many Igbos migrate from West to East and as far as possible from the Oba's problems. You can read the story of Olaudah Equiano to understand what transpired then. Abagworo thanks for reinforcing the knowledge of Igboland and letting some tribalistic cretins know what Igboland entails. There's Western Igboland which covers Anioma and Igbanke/Igbo-Akiri and Southern Igboland which covers parts of Bayelsa, Rivers (Ekpeye, Ikwerre, Bonny and Opobo, Ndoki, Obigbo, Ahaoda etc). We still have a fringe Eastern and Northern Igboland that lies in Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Kogi and Benue. They'll argue all they want but they'll end up saying rubbish because a Chima isn't Benin but Igbo, even in conquest or migration. |
Politics › Re: Who Are The Agbor People Of Anioma? by cassyrooy(m): 6:32pm On Oct 11, 2023 |
Bendeco2020: The fact remain that from Ika/Anioma to Onitsha have the same ancestral link but are still Igbo.
Of all the history origins that I read, the one I believed is that the founder of Anioma and Onitsha are Igbos that traveled to West (Yoruba land) , stayed for long time and later returned.
The name of the founder is Chima (Igbo name) that already confirmed and cleared everything.
Chima is an Igbo name not Benin name.
Am from Umuikem Village, Onitsha
Inside Onitsha, all are not from Chima clan. Igala (Olu people) meaning riverline people are also in Onitsha plus few already existing Igbo people before the arrival of Chima.
My village Umuikem is classified under Ogbe Olu (Riverline people). Eze Chima is an Igbo man that travelled, probably born outside Igboland but when Idu/Ogodomigodo was destroyed, he returned Eastwards and his offsprings settled and found several Igbo clans (that Benin/Idu/Ogodomigodo Empire) calls theirs. Truth is, Igbos in Maiduguri can never be Kanuri whenever they return to Igboland, Eze Chima will forever remain Igbo irrespective of his sojourns and exploits with other tribes. |

mrvitalis: I have said it several times igbos needs to invest in banks
Without fidelity bank there would be no Air peace today
Without then diamond bank there would be no MTN today
Government of Igbo state's needs to come together create a large pool of cash to give to this few industries for machinery
Sign agreement grenting state of origin to everyone from the 5 south eastern state, anioma ans rivers igbos (minus ikwerre)
Once you are from any of this you are a citizen of the 5 south East States and have full rights
Then
If South East governors can commit 200 billion over 5 years and the partnering banks commit 200 billion that's 400 billion
To be given to people in garment sectors leather works and care spare parts to buy Mechinaries and advanced technology
Give them 3 years before they can start playing back the loan
Every person must have an account for 6 months in partnering banks,
have your business books accounts for 3 years Showing you can be profitable
Then like the Op said send them on a 1 month financial management training
Loan because 50 million to 2 billion depending on the industry and your financial records
This alone can trigger a growth of an industry that ca employ 5 million igbos State of Origin for all Igbos irrespective of your original state should be backed by evidence of meaningful contribution to the society you found yourself, in business, your parents must be well supportive of local communities for you to gain full rights in such communities. |

Fairness is the only solution to disintegration. You don talk am finish, FG is playing Go-To-Hell politics with the Igbos in SE while the ones outside are watching and scampering away. A region that was peaceful has been completely drained of investments in terms of human resources, industry, trades, transportation and cultural. Those doing Shege-Banza are deploying this tactics to depopulate the people, increase their poverty and retard their social, cultural, economic, political and religious development. This has been going on for almost 86 years now. For those saying Kanu should denounce his beliefs in a Biafran nation is only playing to the gallery, they're not offering solutions to the core issues that necessitated this agitating people everywhere in the first place. It's not about becoming richer or powerful but development of the people, opportunities to live meaningful, impactful, highly qualitative lives that matters. Pro-Nigerian Igbos abound and so does Pro-Biafran Igbos. |
