HIV1: In as much as the parents might share little fragment of the blame, the girl in question share most of the blame. If my child came home with an unwanted pregnancy , am I suppose to rejoice? i no know o. She was happy with her bf while he enjoys her pucsy, but wants the parents to give him an award for A SEX WELL DONE. |

favourmic: hey don't you know no matter the age of ladies when it comes to love they turn to fool? I don't blame the girl She has no case at all. First about anything you do, being safe is primal and absolute. Yes the parent were kinda unreceptive at hearing the news of her pregnancy, but suicide can never liberate her from her trilimma. #SuicideIsANO |

classicB: .i dont blame the either the boy or girl, i blame the parents of the girl for treating her the way they did. What happened to making her realise her mistakes and help her raise the baby? The guy might eventually accept the baby,We all make mistakes at some points in our lives, yes, i know some people would come here to lash the girl about how she opened up for a boy to get her pregnant, but then how many people can come out clean that they didnt go against their parents/mothers wish for them to stay off sex with guys until marriage. She was just a girl in her youth that wanted to explore, but its sad she ended up like that. RIP girl Honestly? C'mon, the 5minuters should be blamed in 4(the girl), 3(the boy) and 3(the parents). My mum always say 'Nedu, anyday you inpregnate a girl bring her home but you MUST assume full responsibilites'. Na wit this kind state i wan start to dey bring kids enter the world when i get ntin to give them. Hell no! |

IamLucy: her parents are to blame.african parents can be quite shallow and insensitive. To some degree, but she was to be blamed for being shallow to think love last. She's 19, her primary aim should be on education and not unprotected sex. |

LaurelP: Bro she has accepted o. Now aren't both of you supposed to keep the relationship alive and interesting?
But no. The typical Naija girl will still be playing games with you. Why agree when you obviously wouldn't commit to the relationship? Lol! Typically Naija girl aren't loyal, they want to explore and have fun too, when a relationship needs to be worked on. I'm dating a gal that approached me, and truly, you might be indifferent at point 1 but, its same great relationship like you wooed her if mutual respects exist between you. |

Romance › Re: A Counter Thread: About Women Making The First Move By Oliviaarims by cassyrooy(m): 9:00pm On Jan 02, 2016 |
LaurelP: My problem with most girls is not even asking them out.
My problem is what happens after you ask them out. When you have gone through the rigor of convincing and cajoling them to accept you, they still expect you to struggle to keep the relationship moving. You must constantly call, text, visit, spend on them and not also forgetting birthdays, valentine, Xmas, new year and sometimes even pay school fees.
This is the idea of a relationship for a typical Nigerian girl. The guy must bear all the burden while the lady enjoys. And I ask, what role do ladies play in a relationship? Chase them till the end na. Thats what they want from us, to be chased and when you refuse to quit on their case, they see you as a stalker, hypocritical. |
