There is nothing like conspiracy against development of the North.Rather it is the Northern elites that have chosen to impoverish and underdevelop their region.Religion and culture has been the limiting factor them among other things so you must get your facts right.Since the discovery of oil,past and present governments have relegated agriculture thus making it unattractive.Many state governments are looting funds in the name of agricultural projects.Most of the farmers killed are peasant,feeble and vulnerable ones.The rural-urban drift is another factor so no one is conspiring against anyone but rather the north is nursing a self-inflicted injury.

Ever since buhari came into power he has been making alot efforts to make sure Nigeria reduces it reliance on oil, hance he tried to improve the agriculture of the country which the northerners will be willing to accept and in turn increase the revenue generated from the northern region, but at the mist of this we began to see alot of issues like fulani herdmen, bandits and many more sringing up to discourage farmers from it.
If we can all remember the fulani heardmen used to be peaceful people moving from places without any problems with the people of the community they pass through so why did all this change all of a sudden.
