Why would you waste two years of a human beings life? You know you are not going into the doorway, yet you continue standing on the threshold blocking the door way and preventing other interested parties access. What kind of mind does that to another without an iota of remorse or regret and then starts making up sick depraved excuses? My friend you don't need any advise from any one here. Let your conscience tell youthe right thing to do. Set the poor lady free because you certainly don't deserve her. |
Finally while I agree that Adokie Amiesimaka was a great skillful player he tended to play to the gallery and lost the ball a lot. Honorable mention should be made of Humphrey Edobor of New Nigerian Bank and James Etokoebe of Leventis United. Sam Okpodu of Bendel Insurance equally qualifies to challenge Odegbami on the right. |
faoogoke:Sir, Your comment on Christian Chukwu is so wrong. In his prime he was a pillar in defence for Rangers and the Green Eagles. He was the captain of both Rangers and the Green Eagles. He was a rock in defence and quite skillful for a defender. He was also a dead ball specialist. He took both free kicks and penalty kicks. It is a pity NTA arr unable to show clips of how these great ex players played football back in the day. |
@crownprince102, Nice list. Except that Adokiye Amiesimaka started his football career with the defunct ACB football club while in secondary school. He later joined Rangers while studying at the University of Lagos. On the other hand your list needs a second eleven because while I agree that Vincent Enyeama is a great goalkeeper, there is no way he is better than Emmanuel Okala or Peter Fregene in their prime. Then there was the Ghanian goal keeper Joseph Carr who was an acrobat between the posts. I know what I am talking about cause we watched these guys play at the old UAC stadium Surulere which is now the Teslim Balogun Stadium. |
I am so proud this man will be my president from May 29th. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel in this great man. |
Bought petrol at three hundred and fifty Naira a litre last night. In Lagos most petrol stations are locked but you see kids in front of these stations selling fuel in kegs. And we have someone who calls herself minister for petroleum? Its crazy. |
babyosisi:Glad he didn't bully you into deactivating your account...... Lol. |
MDMA:Thank you. |
EfemenaXY:Abi ooo. Some one deletes/deactivates his/her nairaland account and walks away. A few weeks later she /he registers a new account and starts dropping subtle hints so everybody can put two and two together so that everyone knows that he/she is the deactivated account. Drama queens-all of them as far as I am concerned. |
bennyrazz:Does this apply both ways? Can the wife/woman/ladies eat Semo too once in a while? |
^^^ While I agree there are bullies. Why allow yourself to be bullied and intimidated on a faceless forum? Dont put up your personal information and quite frankly I feel sorry for anyone putting up their real pictures on dp walls. |
I for one can't understand why people can't leave this place quietly. What is the ppint of carefully deleting all your over a million posts and topics and deactivating your account and then a few months later registering a new account and then leaving subtle hints so everybody knows what your deactivated moniker was. Why deactivate your account if you are not yet ready to walk away? Why walk out the door in the first place and even if you are coming back in through the same door, why not come back in silently? Must you kick the door down so every one knows you are back? |
989900:This one no be rumour . Goggle Doctor Ikemba Iweala sex scandal and see the results from various media. |
Saharareporters, New York: The recent exposure of the sex escapades and scam on Dr. IkembaIweala the husband to the former finance minister of Nigeria – Dr. Ngozi Okonja-Iweala whichhas rocked the media in its shock value appears to have many more folds to the story. Investigators at Saharareporters have uncovered more information that point to a case that is more complex than originallyreported in the sworn affidavit provided by the FBI. As a caveat, Dr. Ikemba Iweala, 59 yrs old was caught with his pants down in extramarital affairs with a muchyounger female nursingstudent that goes by the name “Queen Nwoye” aged 28 years old. As the reports have it, Queens Nwoye’s boyfriend Adriane Osuagwu who is aged 50 took the Dr. Iweala to the cleaners, as he exploited the extramarital affair for nearly $200,000.00 against the fear of outing the husband to his high profile wife, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Saharareporters has found that the relationship between the cheating couple may have been more extensive and involved than previously reported. According to the information gathered, Dr. Ikemba Iweala and Queen Nwoye who was reported to have begun having the affair in 2002 and supposedly ended in 2003 may be a lie by Dr. Ikemba Iweala to cover up the fact that he purchased a house for his mistress Queen NkemNwoye back in October 2005. ---------------------- Download the exclusive documents on this piece at the www.saharareporters.com/eLibrary ----------------------------- The statement given by Dr. Ikemba Iweala where he indicates that his relationship with Queen NkemNwoye ended in 2003 and then turned into “social friends” does not mesh well with the information obtained by Saharareporters. Queen Nkem Nwoye who attended the University of Maryland-Baltimore, fulltime from 2002 till 2006when she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Nursing at a GPA of near 4.0 was a US honor student. She was discovered by Saharareporters to have purchased a $425,000.00, Single Family-3 bedroom California house with the address – 113 William Reed Drive, Antioch, California in October 2005of whichshe paid a down payment of $85,000.00. This she did with virtually no income. There appear more indications that point to Dr. IkembaIweala as the purchaser or at least the assistor financiallytoward the purchase and maintenance of the house. One of the indicators, as uncovered by Saharareporters is that fact that following the exposure of the sex scam to the authorities and the official financial separation between Dr. Iweala and Nwoye, the house immediatelywent into foreclosure, it was finallydisposed off by the mortgage company on January 2 2007. Queen Nwoye presently owes unpaidtaxes in the amount $2,282.02 on the house. A collaborating source who spoke to Saharareporters revealed that Dr. Iweala had played a financial role in the purchase of the aforementioned house. Another dimension of the sex scam regards the scammer; Adriane Osuagwu who just as Ngozi Iweala’s husband is in his early 50s. Preliminary excursion in Osuagwu’s background appears to expose more of the mindset of Osuagwu as per serial womanizing. Sources indicate Adriane Osuagwu also goes by the alias “Athan Osuagwu”. Although Saharareporters have not confirmed the validity of the said alias, our investigators were able to dig up that Adriane Osuagwu under the identity of Athan has been married up to three times – once to a Cheryl Mason in 1992 and then a Brenda Millage in 1996 according to records obtained from the state of Texas, it is not clear if Adriane Osuagwu divorced the women. Not all is reported to be well either on the end of Dr. IkembaIweala and his wife Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Saharareporters has found that their marriage began to tread on rocky grounds the moment Ngozi Iweala accepted the appointment to leave her Potomac household to join President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abuja without her husband. As was told to Saharareporters, prior to her departure to join Obasanjo, close family friends of IkembaIweala was said to have confided on him on the vulnerable state whichhis wife willbe in whilein Abuja – this they said while noting the sex-hungry nature of the President which has been constantly referred to by some close associates as notorious. Not too long into Ngozi Iweala’s acceptance of her position and relocation to Abuja, it was reported that Ngozi Iweala had opted to resign for no clear reasons but her father weighed in and stopped her from leaving. Sources in Abuja disclosed that the sudden resignation was due to President Obasanjo’s unwanted sexual advances - of whichthe President may have touched her inappropriately. However Ngozi Iweala’s resistance did not last too long. Story abound about Ngozi’s trips to the US on the presidential jet without visiting her husbandand many other incidents which led some Igbo elders in the Maryland area to visit with Dr. Iweala when a scandalous photo surfaced in TheNEWS magazine where the president was seen glaringly adjusting the headgear of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala whileshe smiled approvingly. It took no time for the word to reach back to her husband. The husbandreacted by sending close family and friends to talk her. However as it appears that his personal sex escapades at the Prince George’s county Hospital where he is Neurosurgeon made him to care less about President Obasanjo impropriety on his wife. According to authoritative sources, Ngozi Iweala’s continued coziness with Obasanjo despite her humiliationby the president in her well publicizedredeployment to the less prestigious ministry while attending an important meeting in London have left most of her friends stupefied. They point to recently an alleged weeklong lobbying/ camping at the Aso Rock prior to her loss of the UN Deputy Secretary General position, saying such behavior made such insinuationsmore credible. This explains why Ngozi Iweala so effortlessly and without emotion urged Dr. Ikemba Iweala to go to the authorities. She was said not to have been too ‘angry’ with her husband, whichruns contrary to her well known controlling no-nonsense hot temper. |

This man started making money by inviting foreign bands such as Shalamar,Delegation,Whispers,Carrie Lucas and Lakeside to come and play gigs at the National Theatre Iganmu. Then he started making young innocent girls to strip themselvrs nak3d on order to contest for most beautiful girl in Nigeria pagents. He corrupted so many innocent girls. Then he went to the NTA where he used the money to set up Silverbird Tv,Rhthm 93 network in Lagos,Abuja and Port Harcoirt. He also used the money from NTA to set up Silverbird galleria and Ozone cinema's as well as Domino stores at Yaba. Nigerians keep your rues on the ball, this guy is very very dangerous and corrupt but I trust General Buhari to take care of him. |
RIP Father Sly... This guy always brought back my youth with his programme Rap and Hip hop classics every saturday morning.... Sad news. Condolences to his wife and daughter. |
@elampiro, I am waiting for you to post Wayne Rooneys goal return in the premiership era since 2002 and for you to show me the season he scored 25 goals in the EPL. Your problem is you think you love Rooney more than other United fans hence you take any criticism of him in a personal way. That is the difference between me and you. I love Rooney but I love the Progress of Manchester United more. |
elampiro:My friend stop lying and spreading falsehood. Wayne Rooney has never scored above 20 goals in the EPL since he started playing for Everton in 2002. Stop adding goals from the Carling cup,FA cup and Champions League. I stand by my words. Publish Rooneys goal for every season to date in the EPL if you are bold enough. |
chrisley024:Our number one problem is that we dominate possession at times 80/20% but fail to put games away because we lack clinical strikers who can make goals out of nothing. The two clinical strikers we have in Van Persie and Falcao are both over the hill, aged and injury prone. |
nyabinghi:Since Rooney started playing for Everton to Manchester United has there ever been a season when he scored 25 goals in the EPL? Lets be realistic and stop hero worshipping. |
We dominated WBA 80/20 % yesterday but could not stick the ball in the back of the net because of our poor strike force. We dominated play against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and lost which can be tolerated but against a team like WBA at Old Trafford,we must not be losing games after dominating play 80/20%. Totally unacceptable what ever Mr Van Gaal says. If we miss out on Champions League footy next season, the manager should be blamed totally. |
^^ Note matches played(MP) by our top striker Wayne Rooney vis a vis the top strikers in our rivals and understand we can never win this league with the strikers we currently have in our team. We need a striker who can score consistently at least above 20 goals a season, backed up by a consistent support cast of at least 10 - 20 goals a season. Right now we only have a support team of strikers in Rooney,Van Persie,Falcao and Wilson. We can never win this league with these kind of strikers. |

Our leading scorer in this league has 12 goals. Is that good enough? NO! |

I bought fuel for 160 Naira per litre yesterday but managed to buy it for 87 Naira per litre today at Forte oil petrol station mile 2 today. I think the scarcity will ease off tomorrow hopefully. |
In all honesty I am expecting Chelsea to lose to Liverpool. Chelsea have wrapped up the League so they will still be celebrating and have nothing to lose or gain. The onus is on United to win all their remaining games convincingly. There are no free meals anywhere so don't expect anyone to do you any favours.. |
All the players and coaching crew should accept responsibility for that last nights defeat to WBA. What is the point of dominating a match 80/20,if you are not gonna stick the ball in the back of the net. We need strikers who can score at least 25 goals in a season. The strikers we currently have can not do that. |
^^^ Man,whatever we shouldn't be losing to the likes of WBA at Old Trafford. It is highly unacceptable. |
Watching this match with WBA,it is obvious United need a solid central defender and a 25 goal per season striker. Expecting solid remedies next season. We are dominating play but not sticking the ball in the net. Solid, composed 25 goals per season striker needed certainly in order to put up a serious challenge for the league. in my opinion neither Wayne Rooney nor Robin van Persie can give us 25 goals on current form. Forget Mr Falcao entirely. |
