nwigwemark: Good evening house, I started this journey on the 10th of May and had my interview today, I applied to 4 schools 3 through Uniassist, Siegen rejected me without telling me why, Uni Passau offered me Development Studies, I battled Abuja for 10 days before the gave me interview date. On Wednesday I got info from a friend that Abuja rejected him because of Degree certificate, I knew I will have that same problem, many here advised that I should make a move to Owerri for mine, I left Lagos to Owerri and got to Owerri on Thursday morning and my interview is on Friday in Abuja. Trust IMSU, my certificate is still not ready and they asked me to come after 3 months. God used the Registrar's secretary to save me, she issue me with attestation letter saying that my certificate is not ready and under process, that was what saved me today. The so called Abuja queen showed me love today and the interview turned to friendly discussion and we spent about 2 hours having a friendly chat. She advised me to fund my account immediately.
I want to specially thank this forum and all the members who has shared wonderful feedback here that saved many. A special thanks to my friend Ansel who brought this issue of Abuja certificate saga, without him, it would have been a disaster. God will see us through. Hi, congrat on a successful interview. Please what do you mean by TRUST imsu. why stereotype our school. Well I understand you sha. AM coming for you. Success |

mariaattah: How u take do em? I done mail them tire n I no go stop until they book me...
Success dear Hi, Good evening. Mailing the embassy endlessly might not be a good idea. They might frown at it. Naturally nobody likes to bombarded with mails. Since they have said no more available appointment, the only way you can get appointment is if someone revokes his appointment. So Just be strategic in sending them email. You might get a date. Good luck |

lexxydoo: Yes I did bro Maybe mail them again. This time use German just to patronize there ego. If you don't know German use translation app. Be polite as much as possible. That's what I do to get feedback from them. Good luck |

lexxydoo: Hi everyone, pls I need to know if someone has a similar issue; Interview in February for Winter semester Embassy sent an email saying they’d process it in June. I emailed the alien office in Kaiserslautern in July and they told me they’ve received my application and made their decision known to the Embassy and I’d get my Visa. I’m to resume mid August and the. Embassy still hasn’t returned my documents or said anything about the visa. I’ve sent emails to them and yet no reply. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Hi, Good morning. Hope when you try to inquire about your visa application status from the embassy you included your application no, passport no, date of interview and date of birth. If not, you can try again with this info. |

luckyimf: Good evening All, l am a newbie on this platform however l have been an avid reader since 2013. l got admission at Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg last month and l equally booked for interview appointment dated 19th June 2018. However, from the current analysis, l strongly believe that the aforesaid date(19th June 2018) will be declare public Holiday to mark the end of this Muslims fasting. My question is this: Will German embassy reschedule my appointment or what will be my fate? Any precedent on this subject matter as it relates to public Holiday/Interview date. Lastly, will the embassy honor the date. Please your response is highly needed to allay my repeated worries. Hi, I also got that same date. I hope it will not be problem |

Hello ladys and Gs.
Please I think we need more stories and experience sharing about studying and living in Germany for students, especially from those that are already there. Honestly I need real experiences especially the not so pleasant once, we literally know all the positive stories. Hence I really need to hear the unpleasant once so as to prepare ahead on how to tackle them or if possible avoid them.
We need to know those myths and untrue fantasy about studying in Germany. And also what happens after studies.
It is better to live like there is hell. So eventually if there is no hell it will be a bonus. If there is one we will be prepared, instead of playing the ostrich.
Veterans please we need those stories to prepare our mind ahead.
Thanks |

Eke40seven: E don tey small Although I read from time to time but many of the answers are already in the previous thread, so I don't see much importance in my presence anymore but, in the next posts, I will go through the top ten myths prospective students have about Germany. However, before I do that I will give this advice. LEARN GERMAN!!!!! LEARN GERMAN!!!
With my sleek pickup lines I can Make all the pretty honies my fan Now I am voiceless like Herman Because I couldn't speak German
I applied to 100 jobs, I no dey lie 100 calls from HRM but I can't reply I am pretty strong powerful man But they said I can't speak German

I don tire, I can't go on with this. But, please, I know sometimes it hard the combine visa hustle, work and learning German at the same time, but if you have half a chance, please do attempt to learn German to a certain level before you come. School will be easier by a factor of 100 if you do because you wouldn't have to do the difficult jobs to survive, which means you can reserve more strength to study. This also means you can work higher wage jobs while working for lesser number of hours. You won't also be under pressure to survive. If your German language proficiency is better, you will be on top of your game in so many aspects especially if you don't find yourself in places like München. Thanks for your advice. Your advise is very enlightening and also terrifying in the same breath. Cos I will really love to work while schooling. Please , what is the minimum german proficiency required to get least the lowest possible job. |
