fikki1:Thanks bro |
fikki1:Hi Fikki! Have you legalised your documents at the embassy? If yes please what are procedures. Do I apply at Vfs or at the embassy? How long would it take and would I have to book an appointment first? Thanks. cc: namebdis4 |
namebdis4:Thanks bro. How much would the police report cost at Alabgon? Can I also thumprint there? I have filled the form but can't get to buy stamp pad to thumprint where I am now. |
fikki1:Hi fikki1! I did my medicals today at kamorass and would be going for the police report tomorrow. Would the embassy return the original medical report to me? My coordinator said I would need a copy of the medical report for registration in Belgium and that normally it should be returned to me. |
fikki1:Thank you very much. My program starts september 19th and I intend travelling anytime from the 5th of sept. I would also be filing in my visa application around third week in July. I hope I'm within the time frame? |
fikki1:Hi fikki! I need some info about the actual processing time for Belgium visa. The info I am getting is just confusing and I do not want to start something I cant finish. The comments on all Belgium visa thread I found on nairaland is not encouraging at all. Almost everyone kept stressing how long it takes to process the visa. On the downloaded visa checklist just like the one you pasted here its within 4-8 months whereas on vfs website it says 15 working days or 4 weeks. which one am I to go with? Have anyone on this forum actually gotten his/her visa within 4 weeks? Besides, how much should I budget to legalise all my documents? I would be going to lagos this week for medicals and police report before heading to Abuja for the legalisation. Thanks. |
Mille:Bro I will get back to you as regards belgium. let me do a little research about it. but I know germany offers 18months permit after your studies to get a job |
namebdis4:University of Liege, Belgium. University of Lorraine,France. Lulea University of Technology,Sweden. Technical University of Mining and Technology Freiberg, Germany. University of Liege is the coordinator of the program and thats where i would be spending my first semester. |
WhyNa:your source must be water tight. I was initially nominated for the ACP geographical window for my program only to be told that it wasn't approved by the EACEA. I got a mail some days back informing me that an extra external grant is available and I have been selected for the scholarship. Though the coordinator is yet to send the official documents, I was told to start getting the necessary documents for visa application. which program did you apply to? |
crises everywhere in Africa. what is wrong with black race? |
namebdis4:Oh really! I guess things have changed then. I read on earlier pages on this thread that it takes up to 3 months or more. I also downloaded some stuffs from vfs website and it was stated that it may take up to 4 months that got me scared. |
WhyNa:Thank you. I was admitted to Emerald-Georesources Engineering. |
namebdis4:Thank you. Like approximately how long would it take to secure the visa? |
How much do they charge to legalise documents in Abuja? |
Hello All! Please I need an urgent advice. I would explain my case briefly. I have been following this thread for a while and was also preparing my documents because I was expecting a decision from the European Union concerning Erasmus Mundus scholarship. I was unsuccessful as at then. Fortunately, almost the same time I got the rejection I won a scholarship from the Swedish Institute and have submitted my application for visa. I got a mail yesterday from the coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus program informing me that I have been reconsidered and selected for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. In the mail, she said would be sending me the official documents as soon as possible and that there is no guarantee I would secure the visa but that they would do all they can by writing to the embassy and all. While both offers are very good, I am disposed to the Erasmus offer. Now my queries are; 1. Is it still possible to secure a Belgian visa given the time frame and also considering the fact if I would go for the offer, I would be submitting my documents in July(second week at the latest) ? The school resumes on the 19th of September . The risk here is that if I wait till September for the Belgian visa, It would automatically mean I would forfeit the Swedish offer because I should be in Sweden mid August . Also since there is no guarantee of securing the visa like the coordinator said, I would have lost both offers if I don't get a response from Belgium embassy before the 10th of Sept. The other option which I don't know if it's possible leads to point 2. 2. I would be getting my Swedish study visa soon( I understand that it is a schenghen visa) can I use it to enter Belgium then apply for residence permit there? The gurus in the house should please shed more light. Thanks |
Chikas1013:hi ! when did you apply? you can check your waiting time online Ithink its about 2-3 months. I applied on the 23rd of may nothing yet too. |
nollyj:Pleasant greetings to you. I sent you a PM , can you kindly respond. I recently got a SI scholarship to study at Lulea and would need few clarifications from you.. . thanks. |
fikki1:Hi fikki1 is the test at Kamorass still 20k? and how long would it take for thr results to be out. Thanks |
Hi all ! My passport would expire on the 21st of August, 2017. Part of the requirements from vfs says that '' A travel document (e.g. national passport) should be valid for at least 15 months, in which a visa can be affixed''. The issue is I would be applying for a visa in June by which time the 15 months rule would not be feasible. Do I request for a new passport or what should I do in this case. Thanks |
167tunde:Hi Tunde Pls where can I do the police character in Lagos. Thanks |
Donal Trump never mentioned Nigeria in the real article. You just added Nigeria to it.. . welldone. Thats the hard truth there anyway |
Rest in peace.... To Dust we would all return |
A 13-years old Nigerian, Chimelum Tasi-Amadi has set a new academic record after writing the Cambridge Checkpoint Examination. According to a statement from the teenager’s school, the City of Knowledge Academy situated in Ijebu Ode area of Ogun State, his academic feat has landed him a placement at Phillips Academy Exeter USA (a world renowned Prep School that prepares students almost exclusively for the IVY League Universities in the USA). In a statement released by the City of Knowledge Academy, where Tasi-Amadi attends, the academic performance of the year nine student wasn’t totally strange as he had earlier dazzled keen watchers of educational terrain with award-winning performances at both the American Mathematical Competition and the Cowbell Mathematics Competition. City of Knowledge Academy further boasts of an array of achievements by its students which include certification of 11 students of age range 10 to 14 years getting certified by Microsoft as Systems Administrators with proficiency in MS-Words 2010 after passing the examinations between 2015 and 2016 Founded by Mrs. Mosun Belo-Olusoga, an Economics graduate of the University of Ibadan, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA, the school boasts of achieving more in the educational sector. source: https://mobile.facebook.com/notes/naijcom/13-year-old-nigerian-breaks-record-at-cambridge-checkpoint-examination/1100768586686704/

she needs both counselling and spiritual cleansing . As for yunusa I trust he wld be given a heros welcome in kano codedly though for attempting to islamize an infidel. Its a big price you know.. forget all those talks within a week from now everyone would forget this issue and face his/her business hmmm Emir Sanusi.. All those formalities were just to save face I knew it. If the Emir had wanted that girl in bayelsa she would have been there for long. you wrote a letter for her to be released but you could not ensure and do a follow up to see that a 14 year old girl is reunited with her parents . since Agust 2015 you were indifferent , carefree and lacakadiasical.. . . very shameful The father of Ese, Mr. Charles Oruru, has indicted the Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II, in his daughter’s travail.Oruru, in an interview with Raypower FM, which was monitored by our correspondent on Tuesday, said Sanusi deserved no credit in the eventual release of Ese “as he only bowed to pressure from Nigerians”. |
The Emir is very culpable in this case. Its a clear case of negligence on his part. Even if we agree he wrote a letter to the AIG requesting her transfer whatever happened to following up the case to ensure that she is safely returned since agust 2014?. The first thing a sane man would is to ask that idoit whether he sought the permision of her parent and even get him arrested. So assuming the girl was 18 Emir sanusi would grant the sharia recommendation without her parent approval? To think this was a former CBN governor with all his exposure leaves little to be desired. They way these people think is just disturbing. A very religious country yet morally depraved. The worst is the president silence to salient national issues, very indifferent and absent minded it makes one wonder if he is the president of the moon or Nigeria. We are so divided along many lines that I wonder what we did to luggard to warrant this unholy union. you guys should better watch your gateman n all these nigeriens doing menial jobs in Lagos and other parts of the south to prevent stories that touch. They may just be eyeing that your preety teenage daughter. #iRestMyCase |
From a scripture union member to a full hijab adorning Alhaja. Her face even looks mean compared to previous circulated pictures. Thats what torutue, rape, and indoctrination can do to an innocent soul. She has been dehumanized and subjected to unholy conditions . She needs good counselling and serious prayers . I dont know how why a religion would permit forceful conversion against one's will. Welcome to the caliphate |

so these governors cannot come up with some ingenious ways to make money from their states? like a baby they keep waiting for the fg to breastfeed them montly smh . 21st century leaders with paleozoic mentality |
I think catholic missionary schools are one of the best if not the best in Nigeria. They focus less on money but on child development and have very good maintenance culture . If only Pentecostal pastors can borrow a leaf from them but no its all about competing with bill gates and dangote on the latest jet or some frivolous birthday bash on a yatch. |

Macwytt:Did you read the article at all or as usual "the first to comment syndrome"? |
