@ceasyc , nero is not a free product but u can get the trial edition from their website www(dot)nero(dot)com. its a heavy software so i hope your system is up to the task. if its only burning u need it for then i suggest u go for the free softies like ashampoo burning software free edition or imgburn. they will do the job wella.

@ ceasyc, please is there anyway i can optimise my battery life? it curently lasts for a little over an hour when am online, screen backlight reduced to lowest and NO music playing?

^Yes you may have been told these tales of blood money or watched blood money films but do you personally know anyone who has gotten blood money. I know that too many Nigerians love spreading rumours and telling dem say tales.

or windows media player 11. Here's how to check click start, all programmes then windows media player.
A screen might be pop up (Below). Good luck with it all

Here's a diagnostics in verifying if you're windows is genuine or not. most likely you"ll get
this windows is valid. however the disk that was used to windows on your laptop has been used
several time on another computer hence why you were getting the message.

Click start then run type in oobe/msoobe /a
press enter

Yeah, they have probably installed a pirated XP for you. It might also be the cause of its instability.

Windows 7 is awesome, I cant believe you had it removed.

If you use your laptop in bed and the heat emission holes are blocked the laptop can switch off intermittently and then do disk check like you mentioned.

Are you the only person using the laptop? If not,the other person might be the administrator.
