Finally!!!!Smooth sailing henceforth no more obstacles.

mamajaz:
Kereoo! Kereooo!! Kereoooo!!!, This is to inform every family member here that mamajaz of chief bellong's Australia thread page on Nairaland has defeated IELTS arms down in the test which was conducted on 25th March 2017, LRW (7), S (7.5).
She can now confidently proceed to register with AHPRA.
I wanna register my thanks to the almighty God for connecting me with all efam members here.
Special thanks to bimsy ( the first person that counsel me to write IELTS, however, I stubbornly went after PTE-A the second time), Jamson, who sacrificed much to come and tutor me in Ilesha ( he came all the way from Akure), Bnimz who kept encouraging me all the way, Mctowel01 my tutor per excellent ( a no nonsense critic, who kept reading & correcting my wayo essays all along).
To my lovely sisters in the house, Utcheylee, we started the race for PTE-A, you kept supporting me all along, you're a noble woman, and I appreciate your doggedness. God in His unfailing mercies will say "Yes" to your dreams.
Sister, Teejay80 can't go for nothing less than a darling, supportive, loving, a wonderful counselor who when I told her that the IELTS woman was writing 5.5, 5.5, 6, 9, during my speaking, sister Teejay80 told me not to be moved by what I see...
Nkechima, I can't stop appreciating you, your soothing words were always timely.
I'm most grateful to everybody in the family for encouraging me when I was about giving up on English.
To this end I want to encourage all of us to keep shooting at the moon, so that we will land amidst the stars ( worst scenario).
Permit me to end this brief narration that "when a man's time has not come, the man is a FOOL".

Yes thanks doing that@PFA but there is a coy that did not have PFA docs so will need tax clearance for those.

@Cecegal,

Don't beat yourself over tax certificate. You can replace it with your pension fund documents.

Yes, you can bypass EA for the experience assessment.[/quote]

Hi Bellong,

Thanks for asking,Still on the matter.

English test is same old story for now so we are looking to claiming points for work experience i think this has been answered a couple of times here but we are at lost for how to proceed with Tax clearance for a Multinational and another Indigenous company in Nigeria.Where do we go for it Federal Inland Revenue or State Inland Revenue?Asking around so i will appreciate if anyone who knows what we should do can share.

Secondly i have asked to be 100% certain that we can send in our EOI directly to DIBP without going to EA first to get work experience advice.

Once these are sorted we are good just a few more months by God's grace.

Thanks to you all for all the support and love you give/show on here.Much appreciated.

Hi,
So sorry about Manitoba i totally understand your regrets about NB as everyone i told who attended finally got ITA.

Anyways i am glad you are not deterred by present circumstance and are pushing on,It will end well.
Please which one is Atlantic Immigration again?Help a sister i must leave Naija this year oo

40manlappy:
@dupyshoo: Thanks for your concern, we are waiting for the Atlantic Immigration and other PNP programs. I have put Manitoba in my past.

@Gymme: Thanks for the information, God bless your kind heart.

I noticed the following question on their FAQ page.

I don’t have a job offer from a B.C. employer. Can I still apply to the BC PNP?
-You can only apply to the BC PNP without a job offer if you are applying as an international student with a master’s or doctoral degree from a B.C. university in the natural, applied or health sciences under the Express Entry BC or Skills Immigration stream.
-All other categories of BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC require you to have a job offer.
-If you are applying in these categories, you must have accepted a full-time and indeterminate (at least an average of 30 hours a week, year-round) job offer in a high demand occupation.

Hello house,

PTE prep loading...

@Jamson,Iceberg anyone who Front loaded medicals i urgently need a step to step guide on how to go about this because i no dey waste one more second than i have to.

- I will also appreciate recent update/contact for Naija PCC.

Keep pushing people,We will get there.#Optimistic

Cecegal:
Oga Bellong,

Merry Christmas already shared a few here.

1 EA asked for some feedback on Hubby's CDR since September[He wrote episodes based on his work experience as maintenance engineer in a drilling coy and he is assessing as an Electrical Engineer so they need him to be more detailed asper designs and all. Oga is finding it hard to find time and conclude so we can proceed to assessment.Still cajoling and encouraging.

2-EA asked for proof of all work experience where he was employed as an Engineer couldn't get for one of the Companies as they have been bought over by another company. We have done a statutory declaration of work experience for this one and will attach some payslips/publication of sale.

3- EA asked for his CV to be filled without spaces[Hubby has a few gaps between finishing his Masters and getting a job]we are still coming up with ways to sort this out.

4- English test!!!!2 IELTS,2PTE in the bag all 10 points we are gunning for 20 points to avoid claiming points for work experience,Hubby is studying for his next test found a site that has been helpful had to pay a little over a 100dolls to assesses their materials though but while studying he's realized loads of mistakes he's been making and is very optimistic for a 20 in the next one come January.

This is our story so far....Hopeful for 2017.

Merry Christmas and wish us all a dream fulfilling new year ahead.

Wow,

Here i was wondering how i ended up with a 7.5 in Listening, and 6.5 in reading. There is a site i used for practice the answers for listening seemed like they were case sensitive so i tried to keep up with this during the exams.I think its the Cambridge IELTS.

mctowel01:
Nah, I scored 9 in listening.. I wrote both listening and reading in uppercase all through.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Cecegal: 1:29pm On Jan 08, 2017
I agree,But who/what do we believe ow?EA or PEA?On the flip side those waiting to apply have to hurry up already so we do not wake up to any sudden changes. Its scary the way Engineering ceiling on the SOL are getting on pro rata and filing up quickly. From most of the comments i read though the Locals seem to have a thing or two against the 457 visa. They also assume that they are not getting jobs because they migrants are taking less than the would.

Engineers who have landed and are settled or trying to get settled can help with insights into this so one can prepare and make informed decisions.

mctowel01:
wow... interesting and scary.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Cecegal: 7:49pm On Jan 07, 2017
what site pls,Kindly post the link.TIA

omesanni:
Hi,

I was practicing IELTS reading test on a particular website today which has past questions from the exam, and I answered some of those questions that require you fill in the blank space with sentences by writing the answer in small letters. I wrote the answers in small letters because following the flow of the statement they were supposed to be written in small letters.

When I submitted my answers, they were flagged as incorrect, and I looked at the site's answer list and noticed that the words had their first letter capitalized. I found this odd because in the flow of the sentence they weren't supposed to be capitalized.

Now, my question is, is IELTS really picky about capitalization where necessary or not?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Cecegal: 7:46pm On Jan 07, 2017
Hi Esosa,

Do you mean caps all through eg shop even in the middle of a sentence should be Shop or SHOP.

esosa4real:
Goodday, yes they are! I advise you write your answers in CAPITAL LETTERS to be safe.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Cecegal: 7:41pm On Jan 07, 2017
Hi,
Does this apply to the reading section only or the Listening as well?Ithink the listening is actually case sensitive.

Beem4cupid:
My advice is that you write all your answers in capital letters which is acceptable and you don't need to worry about the words that ought to be capitalised or not. My two cents though. It worked for me.

Thank you Bellong,Your input is greatly appreciated.

bellong:
@ALL

Please I will appreciate if no one add oga to my name. Bellong is fine by me and I like it that way... Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

@Cecegal,

1. He should find time and complete the CDR. Once it is done, I believe he will get a positive assessment.

2. The documents you have should do. Add payslip, offer letter, promotion letter (if any), bank statement and the publication for sale. They are all convincing documents.

3. No need racking your brains to fill gaps. Put he was in between jobs and searching for job. If he did any training or course during the time, add it or tell them he was doing a self study to keep trend of the market. NO offense or penalty for being unemployed for a period of time. Everybody gets to experience it at a point in his/her life.

4. If EA approves his work experience and it is enough for points, claim it. Don't run away from claiming work experience. WHy stress yourself paying thousands of Naira when you can make up for the points in experience.

May 2017 open doors for you and yours and to everybody...

I wish you all the best.

All the best.

tyosho:
For a journey that started sometime in 2013,I'm very happy and so grateful to God that we received our 189 grant mail this morning.
A big thank you to BossLadyMo who was there from the very beginning and of course Sir Bellong who encouraged me when I was feeling overwhelmed at some point. To everyone who has responded to my enquiries at one time or the other, this is saying THANK YOU.
My family and I are getting set for Melbourne as I type.
The journey so far;
Applied with Vetassess as internal auditor in August or so 2013 and got a negative report after over four months.
Encouraged by another who's gotten his grant,we tried ICAA as external auditor in June 2014.After over 3months,they asked us to provide a corrected transcripts as the one we submitted omitted some courses.
Trust Nigeria institutions,we enter one chance trying to get a fresh transcript.
At this point,my Oga(principal applicant) say he's not doing again. He asked for his documents and money back from ICAA.Na there the journey terminate in 2014.
After plenty cajoling, prayers and pampering, hubby agreed to try again with Icaa in 2015.He Waka tire and spent money trying to get a fresh transcript which he now sent again to ICAA.
October 2015,we were positively assessed. We lodged Eoi with 60points(hubby wrote Ielts thrice by the way to get 7 minimum).
February 2016 he wrote Pte and we moved up to 70points.
When invite didn't show by May,he applied to ICAA with same documents and was positively assessed as accountant.
August 2016,we got four invites!!! 189 accountant and 189 external auditor. Then 190 accountant and 190 external auditor from Nsw.
We went with 189 external auditor and lodged on Aug 3rd.Uploaded all documents.
Then late August, there were issues with hubby"s X-rays and he was asked to do further X-rays.They still were not satisfied and asked for a sputum test.We were quite frustrated.
Finally on Nov 28th,his medicals were cleared.
On Dec 7th he was sent a health declaration form 815 to fill and submit.
Dec 22nd,we got our grant for the whole family.
Pls forgive any errors.I no fit modify grin grin

Good morning,

Please what message is that?Didnt get any mail from IRCC.

boldinc:
Hey guys... For those in the pool, I'm sure you must have gotten the email from IRCC stating that 'regular' rounds of invitation will begin from next week.

So, for those worried about the high cut-off from the last draw, It was specifically for people that already have a PNP. I had mentioned this earlier...

I believe the number of ITAs will continue to increase and the cut-off will drop in the next few rounds.

All the best everyone! Stay hopeful...

Still waiting on anyone with precise infos on this please.

Hope we all have a great day ahead.

TIA.

Cecegal:
Good Day House,

I know this has been discussed a couple of time but we need precise advice on this.

One of the companies Hubby worked for was sold in 2010 and EA has asked for some feedback which includes a reference for everywhere he was employed as an Engineer,We have tried to no avail to get a reference for this particular Coy now we have resolved to do a statutory declaration for work experience,Am asking anyone who has gone through this process or who has an exact knowledge of what we should do to please share here so others can benefit from it too.

Let me add that because of the plenty Ajala the traveler we have been doing over the years Hubby cant find his employment letter but has been able to lay his hands on some payslips after some rigorous search.

TIA.
