eyinjuege: I hope you know Loyola Jesuit is a catholic secondary school? I also hope you know their fees per term is more than the private unis we talk about per session? Faith based schools were taken over by the govt at a point in time, and their standards dropped. They are now being run by their boards, and more expensive but better quality. All those missionary schools you talk about were being run by funds from abroad. For any school or organisation to be considered good, there's money at the wheels. Someone somewhere else may be paying for it, but its not free/cheap. Read that below and stop saying Loyal Jesuit is a Catholic school. One man foundered it. Loyola Jesuit College is a private, co-educational, boarding, secondary school in Abuja,[1] operated by the Society of Jesus of the Roman Catholic church. The school was opened on October 2, 1996, and is named after the Society's founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola. |

DrayZee: No they didn't. Don't surrounding yourself with lies. Adeboye who went to UNN, is that also a missionary school? We are talking tertiary institutions and your are talking of missionary schools. Where they taught how to spell and that was it. Pls just think properly. How can you compare a university to schools teaching ABCD? Schoo is school whether they teach ABCD or whatever |

DrayZee: Look, if you hate the church, then voice it out. Don't hide under the guise of "expensive universities" to validate your hate. Because there is nowhere on this earth that you will find a free or cheap private university. People like you are the cause of Nigeria's problems, always looking out for stomach infrastructure. Making it seem as if receiving free education should be a token because you go to church. So people should start choosing churches because of the University that the church can provide. Built on the sweat of most of the church members. In Nigeria, you don't give what you don't have. You'd find out that it was most of these "rich" people who actually donated towards the building of the schools. Talking as if everybody donated the same thing.
And don't you know they give scholarships to their members? You just overlooked that to pour your hate on the church.
Did you even think before you typed this? Oh please!! This schools pay nada to the FG in form of tax because they use their churches as cover, so why make it expensive. Hope you realize that missionary schools are also church schools? |

DrayZee: Did you even bother to read the points there?
If it gives so much profit as you say, why don't you invest in one? I won't bother to read anything that supports what this Yahoo Yahoo pastors do. I hope you know that before this churches started with their schools, other churches built school for both members and non members for absolute free. The missionary schools are church schools too yet they are near free with quality educations. Most of these Yahoo Yahoo pastors went to missionary schools with little or no pay. |

TiffanyJ: Sorry dear but I've got to tell you that you just insulted me. I force readers to buy my work? I continue writing under a different name? So sorry ma, I am not so hungry for money to do that. I work, and I earned my salary. Yes, I sell pdf copies of my first three stories on NL. These stories, I took my time, and completed it here. One of these stories accidentally got wiped out when NL was attacked and I took my time to retype and post it here again. I had to remove some part of my stories when people copy them and paste them in other forums for sale. When readers began asking for these books, I decided to sell three copies, monthly, to three readers I choose. If #1500 is too much to buy three pdf copies of my first three stories is too much then you may as well forget. For your information, my story, 'Captive of my heart' has never been sold. You know why? Because, I haven't finish running it here on NL. Many came for it but I refused, I can't sell a book I haven't finish writing on NL and the story is still running because I am going through serious health challenges and then, I lost the manuscript. So now, I am busy, re writting it. I owe you no explanation, but I owe those that trust in me and have great confidence in me. Finally, you most not buy my pdf copies. I sell only three copies at the beginning of every month. I challenge anyone with the complete copy of my last story to come out and disgrace me. Maybe you need a comprehension class. Please check the meaning of 'Thereby' and go back and read what I said. You don't have to come here to brag, and I thought you were different. 5 Likes |

Chumzypinky: wel dear, to an extent i think u're right. Wat i appreciate the most about ur criticism is the fact that you criticised with sense. To those who thought PoliticalThug was only criticising, this i what is called constructive criticising that would help the writer grow. Thanks dear. Please read my story Red-Ashes and criticise constructively please. Thanks Thanks so much! It pains me that she is spoiling a world class story she created by herself without even ending. Will head to your page now to read your story. I once read a story by a very talented writer here on Nairaland TiffanyJ she skillfully keeps readers glued. Knows when to end a story or stop it out-rightly thereby forcing one to buy the completed version from her just to know what eventually happened and if need be, she continues it under a different name without losing the reader. |

Miss Rachealfst just tell us you are writing a Nollywood script! If you really have lost ideas to the story, just end it already! Stop spoiling the beautiful story you created. I have kept quiet for so long, but I can't hold it anymore. Are you writing for Primary school students? What is wrong with all you Nairaland writers? Once the praise starts flowing, you loss focus and derail. Pls end this story now and stop killing Daniella's character. We already know she is a good girl! An action or incidence that should take just a paragraph, u turn it into a whole chapter. Stop looking for attachments to prolong the gist, you will kill it's initial impact and effect. Too much ingredients spoils the soup. 12 Likes 1 Share |

LarrySun: I'm sincerely sorry for the late updates. This is my longest running story ever. I think it's time I put myself on my toes.
I've decided to place a timetable for my updates. The timetable would be coming up tomorrow by God's grace. With this timetable, you would know when the next update would be coming up, and so you would not have to wait endlessly.
Once again, I'm sorry; and thank you for not giving up on Black Maria . There are still many adventures ahead. We're still merely on the introduction.
Cheers,
Larry Sun Stop saying you are sorry then go back to do the same exact thing you apologized for. Your unprofessional attitude just irks. If you want to do something, do it! Don't tell us pls! Nobody forced you to start this story and nobody asked us to read us, but we found it interesting and got captivated by the story line. You are not doing a favour for us by updating, rather we the ones who found your story intriguing all the ones doing you a favour by reading. It's just so annoying, and you had to update with that empty and baseless thing up there. You call yourself a writer but you don't know the No. Basic rule about writing, never take your readers for granted or let the praises get to your head. Check the following on this story from 5 months ago till now and then check when you started it newly with consistency. When readers loss interest in a story, no matter how good the story gets, it leaves a sour taste in their mouth. Just tell us you want to turn this story to all those 'Nollywood' seasonal films. Just don't provoke someone again with this story. If u want to end it, you do so now...and Blackie is yet to grow sef. #rantover NB: No one should just quote me about how ungrateful I am and get me annoyed the more. 8 Likes |
