MadamExcellency: Common get out from my mention and never quote my comments with this elementary mentality of yours.
Dr Iweala has worked in the same office and rose to the highest professional position, the Managing Director of World Bank not by appointment rather by merit and competence and yet to you she is not qualified.
Obdurate Bigot Lol, you are so pained and full of insults. Not being able to argue meaningfully without insulting just shows the kind of degraded brain you have. |

MadamExcellency: Nigeria and her people are weird. Most of these people who supported Adesina to become African Development Bank President not minding that he served under GEJ administration will frown at Dr Ngozi Iweala becoming World Bank President just because of bigotry.
Her only crime is that she is Igbo. The same reason why Buhari has not seen the necessity in settling Oby Ezekwesili for her political patronage. Abeg, Abeg, Abeg!!! Why are you people like this, we are talking about competence and you are bringing tribe. How all you lot always manage to bring in tribalism into serious issues amaze me. Now to the issue, Looking back at her past records, she can never and will never even be considered for such position! The post of a World bank President is not by academic qualifications or by how many seminars or meetings you attend with world leaders. And never you compare Adesina to Okonjo, it's insulting pls. |

Huston1: Please Nairalanders I need help because I am loosing my patience. I have been married to my wife for 6years and I have never had dinner before 9PM. Sometimes I'm served dinner past 11pm. My wife doesn't have any job yet. I wake early every day because I have to bath and dress our two kids up in the morning while she makes their breakfast and prepare something for the lunch boxes. I drop the kids at school and go to work from there. I return home before 6pm and dinner is never ready. I have complained and complained and she makes adjustments for two days each time I complain. I got angry at a point and told her I will not eat her food after 7pm. That week, she acted on my instruction and I really ate at 7pm or just before 7:30pm. That is the only week I enjoyed dinner early. I have even developed pot belle due to eating late. I got home early today and she started picking vegetables to make soup at about 3:30pm. This is 8pm and I still haven't eaten. I am so angry. I really see her busy working in kitchen but I don't know why it takes so long for the food to be ready. Not that she attends to the kids. I assist the kids in their homework and prepare them for bed. I'm very angry. Please advise. You really have to make a decision and stand by it. My grandfather (God bless his memory) had a standard rule in the house that says breakfast 8 am and dinner must be served at the table by 7pm, and the fear of him will even make you serve the meal minutes earlier. Lol. I grew up with that and it never changed As he got older, he got sick and was placed on a diet, and because of his drugs, his dinner time changed from 7pm to 8pm. If it's a minute past 8pm, just don't bother because he will never eat that food and that day will be hell for whomever prepared the meal and the worst part of it all is that because he was placed on a diet, what we prepare for him is totally different from what we eat, and it most be served hot! And he eats different kinds of dishes at meal times. It's all about time management and you standing by ur word. Say 'woman from today I want my dinner to be ready by 7 pm and if it should not later than that, do not make the mistake of even going against ur her |

Naughtysite: Your hatred for Jonathan and his wife is glaring..
You come dey rant like i say i done toast you before.. If you really know the meaning of that word 'Hate' you would think twice before using it. It's so funny how all you e-f00ls assume anyone who speaks against corruption and a corrupt fellow like your glorified hero GEJ and his wife automatically hates them. Now, here is a Lil lesson for you; Me speaking against an act of my mother's or father doesn't mean that I hate them, rather it means am reasonable enough to differentiate between good and bad and not afraid to speak out. It means that I focus more on the result than the personnel. Get that in your 1nfested brain and hope I made your day. |

You are so funny to say what sells Genny is her looks lol. For your information what sells her is her unique acting skills!!! She has made her marks and they are speaking for her. She has not been in movies lately but she is still relevant and much more important and respected than the most beautiful and younger actress. Whoopi Goldberg is very much relevant, swims in money and is respected highly, but when was the last time she acted? Is she pretty? So why is she still been respected and relevant. |

donbrowser: Same trash all through! Stop using low oil price as an excuse. Obasanjo came in at a tough moment too and never blamed his predecessors. He met the oil price low and did his best. If you keep blaming low oil price why did the naira sink further despite a rise in oil price last week. Stop finding excuses and tell your boss to get to work! So, a one week rise in oil price will stabilize things? You are you people like this na? Obasanjo was more or less the start of this new Nigeria, so who did you want him to blame and it never still stopped him from blaming the military and Abacha for wrecking Nigeria. |
