People that said Yanga Life was always attacking Anambra, who do we blame for this video now because it looks like he is now Abia oo Inferiority complex and victim mentality is very horrible. Let's start viewing things from a more logical point of view instead of always crying over everything.
I don't even know why they were attacking him, yanga life has been doing great work showing Anambra to the world.
Don't mind them, majority of them are under pay roll of Val, I was ones invited to their social media meeting, what they do is to smear Soludo, but bad news for them with the zeal Gov Soludo is using to deliver projects across the state he will clear all the 21 local governments in the state
Soludo may be Anambra best Governor after one term I am a big supporter of obiano but that man is currently the most working governor in Nigeria right now without much noise how can you give free education and be able to carry out on other things like teachers welfare, road construction, flyovers, massive employment etc that man is too prudent and any thing for the progress of Anambra I am in for it all we need is the best no matter what .
TrustTheProcess: You may be wondering what madness drove me to this but it isn't madness but a deep rooted depression that built up for over 15 years.
I'm 31 going on 32. A lot went wrong for me in my life. Some were mistakes of my doing while others were largely financial constraints for my family. I attended a primary school and secondary schools that would be the envy of many parents. I first realised something was wrong when I was sent home from school for inability to pay school fees. I was 16 and in SS3 in a full boarding school. My fees in 2008 was about 600k+ a term. My father rallied and got it paid so I could graduate. Parents tend to shield their children when there are financial problems so I was oblivious of it. I saw that whenever I brought brochures of schools abroad to my father, he'd ignore them. I had anticipated like many of my mates in school to further our education in the US, UK or Canada. It was when i came back to school to get my WAEC results that my dad informed the principal that I'd be applying to Yaba College of Technology. I was devastated but not deterred. I believed I could still achieve a lot there because I was bright and had a super result. I didn't write SAT or IGCSE but I thought I might write either a year after or do A levels. That year, I wrote Poly JAMB before it was merged with regular university JAMB. I passed my Poly JAMB and was admitted into Yaba College of Technology. This is where my problems started. My now late p maternal uncle was a student there back then and was told to monitor when the list of admitted students were posted. For some reason, he said my name didn't come out in the first, second, third and supplementary admission lists. After much probing, it was found out that my name was in the first list and the time it was discovered was well into the 1st semester so the admission was forfeited. I tried again the next year for UNILAG but I didn't get admitted for whatever reason UNILAG knows because I passed JAMB and Post JAMB. By this time, we could barely pay our rent and were barely getting by. I grew up a butter kid so I didn't have that hustle spirit. I just felt things would get better but I got a job at a business centre as a typist. Years passed doing one odd job to the other. School wasn't an option for me at this point mabecause we simply couldn't afford it and my siblings were still in secondary school. It was private but affordable. I desperately needed to up my game and I honestly believed it was up to me to uplift my family again. I got so depressed because I wasn't heading anywhere. I owed more than half my salary before it was paid so saving was never really an option. I was just getting by. By this time, I was working at a petrol station as a fuel attendant. I strived not to cheat people and this made me the most hated amongst my colleagues. We were from vastly different backgrounds and upbringing and it showed. I couldn't hide it even if I tried. If I took a break, someone would sell from my pump to ensure I got shortages. My shortages piled up to about 50k and I cried bitterly. I later got admitted into a maritime school but couldn't complete my studies because of finances. I took up shift jobs and all my dreams and aspirations disappeared at this point cos all I wanted was to survive. I begun smoking cannabis which at the time seemed a great help to me at the time as it helped me accept my life condition. I was introduced to Yahoo but I despised the idea of scamming people. I just wasn't brought up like that. I instead took up selling cannabis as it seemed like an honest hustle even though I was aware of its illegality. This also didn't work for me because I just wasn't cut out for that kind of life. At 29, with only WASSCE to my name. I wasn't getting any reasonable job offers. I hated my self and my life. In all of this, things didn't get better for my family either. We were a shadow of ourselves. Friends and family who would literally mob us daily were no where to be found. This was worse because both my parents were kind of breadwinners in their respective families. I would usually see my former schoolmates on social media living the dream, my dream. 90% of my mates were abroad and working. Some had married oyinbo and started cute families. The ones that didn't school there went to private unis here in Naija and are doing well. They travel whenever they please. I've seen two of my mates making front page on Nairaland for being outstanding in their respective fields. It made me bitter and want to die. I've been harbouring this suicidal thought for about 3 years now. Why I hadn't tried was because I knew my family can't afford a funeral and it would literally kill my mom whose health had deteriorated. What triggered me was this past Christmas/New year. We barely had anything to eat. I am currently unemployed and live with my parents in a one bedroom apartment. You can imagine the drama that comes along with that. I always wonder when I see other youth doing well and ask myself if I'm being punished for something. This year is worse because of the inflation. I barely eat even though you can hardly tell by my physique. Long story short, I found half a bottle of sniper at a public toilet and stole it. I mixed it with a bowl of okra soup and drank it. I didn't die. I guess God still has a plan for me. I've literally been waiting to die but today, I figured I'm not going to die just yet because the effect of sniper is almost instant. I decided to do it because I reached out to one of my mates abroad and he totally bullshited me. I felt I had nothing going on for me anymore. I can go for months and nobody would call my line except the occasional wrong number and immediate family. I never felt so alone in my life. My circle is literally made up of only my family members. Family is great but I still felt terribly empty. I figured people would rather donate to help bury a person rather than help when the person is alive so the burden of my funeral wouldn't weigh on my family. Two days after drinking the sniper I looked at my mother and cried bitterly. She wondered why but I told her not to worry. She said things would get better. I can only imagine the hurt I would have caused her even though I ensured nobody knew how I died because I disposed the Sniper bottle well. I currently don't feel any discomfort. I have passed urine and poo multiple times since I drank it. I guess I'm not dying soon, at least not by killing myself.
I left out quite a lot in this story trying to be as brief as possible. Suicide is never the answer. If you kill yourself life will not stop for you. Thanks for reading.
My brother this is a great opportunity to turn to God, I know a lot of people will say everything is not prayer but turn to him because he has the final solution but please go to hospital and do proper check up because your intestine may be decaying slowly, but please don't kill yourself.
AsomughaChuks05: The watery case is clearly a witch hunt. Governor Willie Obiano 21/21 will be exonerated. APGA is solidly with him as you can see the national chairman of our party is there to support him. Wole Olanipekun SAN is his lead counsel and Anambra state will offer him free residence at the Anambra House in Abuja till the Malami-inspired witch hunt is dismissed.
Pure witch hunt my brother Apga really came out for him.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on nine counts of alleged N4bn fraud during his time as governor of the South-East state from March 2014 to March 2022.
The 68-year-old was arraigned today (Wednesday) before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja.
Obiano pleaded not guilty for the money laundering charges levelled against him.
The prosecution said he has 14 witnesses lined up to testify against the former governor.
On his part, counsel for the EFCC, Sylvanus Tahir, asked that he be remanded in the custody of the anti-graft agency.
Obiano is currently on administrative bail granted him by the EFCC, which includes providing two sureties who are directors in civil service, own landed properties in Abuja.
Justice Ekwo adopted the administrative bail and added that Obiano remains within Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and travel documents be summited to the court going forward.
The court also stated that the immigration be alerted that all travel documents are with the court.
Shortly after he handed over power to Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Marhc 2022, the EFCC had arrested Obiano at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States.
Channels Television had reported last November how the EFCC had placed Obiano on a watchlist. The EFCC later granted Obiano bail after five days in detention whilst the anti-graft commission continued the probe of the ex-governor.

[/quote] Oga if you want to support soludo, you are free but turning this thread between obiano vs soludo is very wrong. Imagine calling anambra airport shady tell me any state government built airport that is better than anambra airport
Soludo is not obiano "Everyone knows that I don’t follow the winds nor one to succumb to bullies, nor shy away from a good fight especially when weighty matters of principles and future of the people are involved.
“One lesson I learnt from my former boss and mentor, President Obasanjo, is never to be on the fence.
“Since I am now being forced into the Arena on this matter, I have a duty and a right of reply, if only for the records, and to also give the social media mob something substantive to rant upon and rain their abuses for weeks. In this preliminary response, there are some things I will refrain from saying here because, in the end, February/March 2023 will come and go, and life will continue."
Was he idolizing him because of age difference or because of footballing career? Some of una go just come online and they post like mumu wey nor get sense .
And what evidence do you even have to show that Uzoho by age is older than De Gea?
No mind am Uzoho is not as old as people put it Just look at this picture below
investnow2013: SOLUDO FLAGS-OFF ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN ANAMBRA, INAUGURATES NINE OKPOKO ROADS, MMIATA ANAM-NZAM ROAD
By Christian ABURIME
"Anambra will become a massive construction site after the rainy season". These were the words of the Governor of the State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo regarding infrastructural developments in the state, particularly roads.
In keeping with this commitment, the Governor flagged-off construction of nine roads in Okpoko and the Mmiata-Anam-Nzam road which has two bridges. This is in tandem with his administration's promise of building over two hundred and twenty (220) kilometer of roads across the state, before the end of this year.
And it is also part of what Governor Soludo promised in his manifesto- to build more roads as well as modernize and maintain existing ones with flyovers, bridges, pedestrians walk-ways. This will effectively connect more communities to the urban setting as well as boost the states' economic fortunes
In the State's 2022 revised budget, fifty four (54) billion naira, accounting for fifty (50) percent of the budget size, was dedicated for the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure for road constructions and maintenance in keeping with the present administration's Urban regeneration agenda.
The nine roads are; Obodo-Owerri Rd 5.77km, Oguagu- Ik Onuorah-Anumudu-Mgbuka- Amazu-Owerri Rd -2.97km, Edeh Road-School rd-Awalite - Ojoto-Owerri rd 1.48km, School rd- umuobom Street-Ojoto Street Junction -0.58km and Umuobom st (Ojoto st Junction-Adazi ani st- Owerri Rd- 0.77km.
Others are Umenweke st (Obodoukwu Junction)-Umeojiakor st ( School Rd Junction)-0.58km, (Ojoto Junction)-Anumudu (Mgbuka Amazu Junction)0.99km, Uzii st- Mission st (Awaited Junction) 0.54km and Anumudu street (ik Onuorah Junction )- Gmi Rd- 0.38km.
Performing the flag-off at Okpoko, Governor Soludo said that the visit was his fourth time in Okpoko since the inception of his administration.
"What we have come for today, is the promise we made to you. Let me say this very important thing. When I ran for governorship, there were three local governments I transversed, and the images I saw kept haunting me."
"These local governments are; Ogbaru, Anambra West and Awka North. I couldn't believe that there were still places like this in Anambra. I made up my mind that these Council Areas would feel the impact of government. The rainy season is almost over. Every local government would feel our impact." Governor Soludo said
"We must give life to the population in Okpoko, because they are also part of Anambra. We are conducting a study on how to provide water in Okpoko. Okpoko will rise. We will move together." Governor Soludo reassured
"We are looking for a space for General Hospital. We are also looking for a recreational ground within Okpoko. Life will come here." Soludo further said
The Governor also reassured the people of the durability of the roads "The roads that we are building, the design is done in such a way that it will be strong as we have made the contractor to sign an undertaking that the roads will be durable for at least 20 years.
The Governor revealed that about 3 kilometers of the Okpoko road will have a pedestrian walkway, while also tasking Okpoko people to keep their surroundings clean at all times
"We will start a different campaign of cleaning the drainage systems. Set up a community watch by yourselves, to set an example for others to emulate." The Governor concluded.
The 11 kilometer Mmiata Anam road which has culverts and one bridge, which is 70 meters into the road spanning 120 meters.
When completed, the road will be highly beneficial to the Community and environs which is usually flood-prone.
The road will also boost agro-economy of the area in particular and Anambra State in general, as the people are well known for rice production, fish, yam, vegetables, potatoes, among others.
Also, when completed, the people will no longer ferry their products to Edo and Delta
The Governor added that Phase 2 of the project will be the remaining 1.7 kilometers to the local government headquarter, while the Phase 3 will be to embark on the Onono road if Kogi state agrees to a partnership. When all these phases are completed, traveling to Abuja will be roughly three hours.
He stressed that if achieved, Anambra West will become the gateway from Anambra to the North, noting that fifty percent advance payment will be paid to the contractor before the project commences.
The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma revealed that the project is the first road flag-off in Anambra by the Governor, revealing that the present administration will construct 14, 053 kilometer of roads in Okpoko.
According to the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, "Anambra was created 31 years ago amidst jubilation, since then no road has gone into Nzam. It gives serious concern to the Governor. By January, the road would have been completed".
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne said that the present administration honours promises, pointing out that Governor Soludo being an economist, he is someone who plans all he does with great success rate
"As a major food basket of the State, we will use this opportunity to produce more food and serve Ndi Anambra", added the Commissioner.
For the Member representing Anambra East and West at the Federal House of Representatives, Chief Chinedu Obidiegwu who recalled Governor Soludo as saying that Ogbaru, Anambra West and Awka North are the most marginalized local government areas in the state, prayed God to make him succeed.
The site's certificates were formally handed over to the contractor at the event by Governor Soludo himself, to signify the importance of the project to the State
The bridge carry willie is working inscription on it, Obiano built the bridge sand filled the road without asphalting it, i don't know his reasons sha, abi na lack of fund?
globemoney01: The new Govt House project is a welcome development but I wonder why Soludo chose to return to the old abandoned Govt House site instead of the new 3 arm zone proposed by the Peter Obi govt. The new 3 armed zone would have been better in my opinion, as it caters for all arms of government in one location. Lets hope another governor does not come and also decides to go develop the 3 arm zone because this Govt house will only cater for the executive. The old govt house site could have been used for something else.
I totally agree with you, with the Three Arms Zone, Icc and the Awka Millennium City Estate, that millennium City layout would have been something else in future, especially Awka Millennium City Estate, that project has quality as their trademark
You are very bold in telling lies. Where is the document you said Obiano signed? All fake, only telling lies like the desperado obi who is now trying to crawl back to Atiku. A finished politician without any legacy project to his name.
You brewery scam was denied by Soludo, just like the fake 75 billion was denied by Obiano. Victor is still more politically relevant. You rushed to celebrate Obiano's arrest by EFCC but today he is chilling in Houston while his wife is on the way to Senate but you are your obi are jumping from one political wilderness to the other
This is part of the so called N75b savings for Anambra state, I hate pretenders
Thats why I laugh when people call Anambra airport a warehouse out of envy, show me any airport built by a Nigerian governor that is up to the standard obiano built at umueri
