This message should have been issued since yesterday. It explains a lot. Those who are hellbent on misunderstandings the position of FG will still do so no matter the explanation. However, for those with open minds, it explains a lot.

Hopefully, Twitter will start playing by the rules of common sense and stop supporting terrorism against Nigeria. The Twitter ban is an anomaly but a necessary evil. I hope it’s lifted as soon as possible.

For me, it’s Nigeria first. I will never put an irresponsible big tech company from an imperialist country over the corporate existence of my country.
you are very mad and demented just like Buhari. When they were using Twitter to oust the previous government, they forgot the rules abi? . mumu

Something is brewing, something I can't say. This dullard and his cohorts have evil plans ahead of 2023. I doubt there will be election, talk less of him handing over. I shuddered when listened to his video and heard "third term". God help us.

NYSCRe: NYSC Program May Be Scrapped As Discontinuation Bill Gets 2nd Reading by ceejay10(m): 8:37pm On May 24, 2021
akanbiaa:
No problem scrapping NYSC but the just thing to do is to give the total sum of money spent on a corners for for whole year to be given in totality to fresh graduates to be able to use to start a business, invest or help them improve their skills to be gainfully employed, not the money to be diverted to other ventures that will only benefit the politicians directly or indirectly.
you took these words out of my mouth. Bless you.
NYSCRe: NYSC Program May Be Scrapped As Discontinuation Bill Gets 2nd Reading by ceejay10(m): 8:35pm On May 24, 2021

NYSC is one of the most enjoyable time for many people.

After NYSC, some people live to remember the fun of it through out their lives.

Some people who have never left their state of origin would be able to get to another state and taste another culture.

It really helps in national integration as some people met and married people of another tribe, all thanks to NYSC.

You make friends with people of other tribes.

Like me,I use to think that Hausa men were evil until I went to serve in the north.

Infact when I first entered the north and I saw Hausa people,I felt like running home.

But soon after, I saw that they were ordinary people like those in the south.

There I discovered that the Hausa people were not as evil as they were being protrayed down south.

So NYSC should not be scrapped.
look at the nonsense reasons you gave. Was the scheme created for enjoyment?. What comes after the enjoyment?. Massive unemployment. Truth is, it has outlived its purposes. What enjoyment is there for those that gets killed, raped, kidnapped, etc?
NYSCRe: NYSC Program May Be Scrapped As Discontinuation Bill Gets 2nd Reading by ceejay10(m): 8:25pm On May 24, 2021
MeghaneMorgane:
I don’t think its a good idea if NYSC is scrapped. It could be optional but not scrapped. A lot of youths use that period to plan their lives and the 30k paid by the government solves the needs of millions of people at least for the full one year
the money can still be paid without going tru NYSC. There should be start-up package for every qualified graduate. It's a better option .
EducationRe: She Was Sacked For Telling Students To Pray For Nigeria by ceejay10(m): 3:19pm On May 24, 2021

CrimeRe: Tribalistic Comments On NL by ceejay10(m): 3:14pm On May 24, 2021
Tribalism is the bane of our society in general. Not peculiar with Nairaland alone. It's in every sphere of the country. It has only gone a notch recently fuelled by the tribalistic and nepotistic dunce we have as President through his appointments and comments.

I am from the middle belt. I stand by my statement. You couldn't possibly know them more than me, sir. You could possibly be using the ones you met as a determinant.
Where I am headed is, CAN WE DEESCALATE? THE HATE ON NAIRALAND IS EXCESSIVE.
AND YES, I HAVE MET FULANIS WITH EFFORTLESS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND BRILLIANCE. MANY.
j u don't know them more than I do. Have you been to any core North?. No I guess. I was born and brought up in Zaria, stayed in Kano, Sokoto and Zamfara. Middle belt is not core north. It is on record that North has d highest number of illiterates. This isn't about hate but facts only. And no where in my comments did I mention North, you brought it up. I only said " Government of the dunces ". There are Igbos, Yorubas , middle belts etc in this dunce government. You are the one that manufactured the north and hate you are talking about.

I am not fulani. I am not muslim. But I have worked with them. The average northerner is naturally intelligent, but the average fulani is close to genius. Don't use this English language thing as a determinant o.
bloody lie. Northeners are not education inclined. There are few brilliant ones yeah, but majority are not educated. You can't use the few you worked with as a determinant factor. I was born in the ancient city of Zaria, I have spent the more years of my life in the North. So you don't know them better than I do.
