RealFeyi: Good day people, so my friend is Dubai working in an hotel earning 140k monthly and he met this agent that helped his friend to get an hotel job of 140k, the friend did not drop any money, the agent paid everything with an agreement that the guy will pay 1.2m back(60k monthly).
All though, dude advised me not to use this agent as the 1.2m is too much but man got no option at the moment and I've been thinking of giving it a try.
Do you guys think its a welcome idea?
My people in Dubai, is it easy doing hotel job like cleaning, shisha refiller etc.
I need serious advice, I don't wanna make a life time mistake. thank Do the Maths: #1,200,000/#60,000 = 20months. That's about 2years in debt! Pls do not entangle yourself in such modern day slavery. Also, for ur friend to have advised you don't take the offer, then something is wrong with the offer. |

catchdwind4rmkd: PCC for N20k? Like are you joking?
If you go in person, it's N5k or less.
If you choose to use someone, it still can't cost more than 10k. It's d latest one that includes biometrics capturing (like national ID or voter's card) Not the paper one that i's written. |

Pls guys, I'm a still waiting for response. centoqoh: Pls guys I need guide here.
I saw d link on page one on channels to apply (as per DIY)
But one of the criteria I see on that website (http://www.dubaivisa.net) reads:
"Emirates or Fly Dubai Airline confirmed ticket"
1. Does this mean I have to book d flight and pay?
Also, d only contact I have in Dubai says he doesn't have the time or know d procedure for applying for me.
2 How do I get a hotel to apply for me? |

CanadianNaija: You are not supposed to work with a tourist/visit visa...i haven't landed yet either, so i am not a guru on ground.
You will probably call me a hater for saying this, but I will advise you though, going abroad without the right papers in this era, is just you going to suffer. Try the student visa route, do a 2yrs program at least, that way you are sure of a route towards permanent residency. Thanks. |

JESUnifemi4eva: You can't land a good job without a social insurance number in Canada; and you can't get a social insurance number as a tourist. If you don't want to suffer, don't try the illegal route, either migrate through permanent residency or as a student.
Be patient and migrate properly! Thanks for your response but like I said, I'm no professional! In fact, nothing to hide, I'm a driver so I believe d federal skill work isn't it for me. All I see there is doctors, engineers, nurses, accountants, teachers, programmers, etc. Plus, Proof of Fund is another hindrance in the academic route u mentioned. Thanks all d same. |
