What do you mean by "truly who/what he claims"? If you left Nigeria without having any viable opportunity doesn't mean others don't. Understand that, I'm being headhunted here by recruiters; believe it or not. My major challenge is not being able to get an offer above the range of say 500-650k naira per month.

I have the right skill set and also understand I might not be able to make the above range without UAE experience. I'm ready to take a pay cut which doesn't mean am desperate.

I have actually thought of the Canadian Skilled Immigrant via Express Entry. One of my professional body-ACCA has an MOU with the Canadian Accounting body (CPA & CGA).All one need do is to write an online Canadian tax and law exams and you'll be giving the certifications. Many of my x colleagues have gone using this route.

In a similar vein, ACCA also has an MOU with the Chartered Accounting body in UAE. We ACCA members don't need to write any exams to become a member. I actually wanted to leverage on this and also the tax-free salary in Dubai comparable to Canada or any other western nation.

Besides d tax free salaries, have u considered possible citizenship 2ru number of yrs of residence or marriage or in investments; Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc offer? The easy life because of no Sharia law?

You don't get these with ur tax-free salary in UAE.

I don't know about u but as I dey move out of Naija, Permanent Residence is my goal.

If you plan to base in eastern Nigeria like Onitsha, Aba or Enugu when u settle in Nigeria, learn Igbo.

If u plan to base in western Nigeria like Lagos or Ibadan when u settle in Nigeria, learn Yoruba.

If you plan to base in northern Nigeria like Kano or Kaduna when u settle in Nigeria, learn Hausa.

However, Pidgin English is d general one.
I can teach you u Igbo n Pidgin through Skype. Reading it through books won't do u much good. Igbo laguange is a tone language.

Chai people dey suffer for this land oo. Abeg make sure you hold money enter this country, reduce your clothe baggage and increase food. ( Most especially Beans , garri and local cooking ingredients) and beware of job agent, I've heard many heartbreaking stories since I landed. Hold enough cash and if possible sef don't let people know how much you hold.

To change money to dollar or diram from Nigeria, which one is better or one should just leave naira in the account and come and change it in Dubai

The best is, change ur naira to dollars b4 going.
But remain like 2k for pocket for immigration guys.
It's easier n better to change dollars there than naira.

At the ministry of education, you get your certificate attested the same day but the eligibility letter takes 4-5 working days to be ready, but you'll back all your certificate same day. I spent #3250 to do 3 documents plus photo copies yesterday.

I don't know how MOFA operates cos I got there late around 4:30pm and they've closed. I paid one civil defence guy connect 4k to do 3 original + 3photo copies= 6 documents.

UAE embassy, I heard they won't attend to you till your present your eligibility letter from MOE. Now I confirm you can do this in one day . Just budget 5 working days or 6.

As for the address, check first page of this thread or just find your way to eagle square. Everything you need is closer by.

No agent has any company nor work here. If he do hv any good work u think he won’t grab d job Nd start working? Come with ur tourist visa Nd don’t believe any promise Nd come Nd try ur luck. I was in tears yesterday I went to hv a hair cut in naija salon Nd guys were talking about there experience. Imagine someone that is comfortable in his own shop Nd car war cajoled into selling his car Nd closing his shop to come Nd work in Dubai. Took 880k from him for three months visa Nd flight Nd promise he wil start work on arrival. But he came Nd didn’t see anything. He was strong Enugu to get himself a petty job which he stil paid agent to get. Three guys including a navy guy was scammed 1.5m each for three months visa with d promise of earning 600k as salary. Just imagine. And the worse is that it took close to 5months for d three months visa to come out Nd yet this scammer didn’t give dem any job. One has gone back to naija. People get mind sha. Now back to my advise. If you are earning 70k in naija please Nd plz don’t quit ur job Nd start coming here. I beg you. Don’t mind all the Facebook pix u see. It’s not all as it seems. I really cannot say which website gave me this job but it was the same ones mentioned on this forum(Naukrigulf.com, indeed). I was called for the 1st interview(telephonic interview) by Sunday 3rd February, 2nd interview by Tuesday 5th February ( interviewed by a staff and the Manager same day) , called for the 3rd Interview 6th February, to come to the head office at Abu Dbabi by Saturday 9th February. Interviewed by HR manager and Assistant Manager. Got offer letter 13th Feb(today). It was God all the way. I want to encourage someone. If I was to base my decision on things I read from this platform (page 1 to here) I won't embark on this journey (3 month visit visa). If you are convicted within yourself that it is God's leading, please follow God's leading. Though the market is very tough as I read here before leaving, but I tapped into other people's testimony here that I will get a professional job. The common slogan I have heard on this platform and here in Dubai is real “We carry different grace” To God be the glory
