Nigerian male barbie doll and internet sensation,
Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has tested positive to
the dreaded HIV and AIDS disease and has been
managing it since last year, a supposedly insider
source has claimed. The anonymous source claims
to be a medical doctor and a friend to Bobrisky’s
Indian doctor.

According to the source in a letter to NaijaGists
yesterday, Bobrisky has been placed on
antiretroviral medicines since September 2015 and
was still at his doctors’ last week to get new
prescriptions.

The source also said that Bobrisky should be tried
criminally for hiding his HIV status from his
numerous male partners.

Filipino southpaw Manny Pacquiao reclaimed the World Boxing Organization welterweight title for the third time with a unanimous decision victory over former champion Jesse Vargas in his comeback fight on Saturday.

The 37-year-old Pacquiao systematically dismantled the former welterweight champion despite Vargas’ size and reach advantage.

He used a short right-handed counterpunch to floor Vargas in the second round en route to a one-sided win in front of a crowd of 16,132 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

“I feel happy,” Pacquiao said. “I’m trying every round to knock him down but also not be careless.”

According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President spoke while addressing Niger Delta stakeholders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.



“We are determined to make life comfortable and affordable to all Nigerians. If anybody has a country to go to, let him go, we will stay here and salvage our country,” Shehu quoted the President as saying.

Buhari was said to have told the leaders of the Niger Delta that they had more to do than anyone else to bring peace to the region, given the influence they have on militant groups.

He expressed the determination of his administration to stay focused on its key campaign promises of securing the country, fighting corruption and creating jobs through the improvement of the economy.

He said peace, security, investment and prosperity are linked together, adding that “if we give peace a chance, investors will come here to invest. Nobody will invest in an insecure environment.”

This unnamed man inspired many netizens by working honestly despite his disability. Facebook user Jansen Sangueza were on
their way to Ilocos Norte in the Philippines to deliver foam beds when one of their wheels was punctured. With the busted wheel, they
couldn't get any further. Thankfully, they saw a vulcanizing shop nearby and decided to have their tire replaced.

Sangueza and his companions were surprised that a disabled man was the one who was about to fix their vehicle for them. It may
seem like a hard job especially in his condition, but he did an amazing job! As a matter of fact, the job was done faster than what
they expected. The photos and video of the man immediately went viral on social media.

The man, thought unidentified, inspired many others who were amazed by the man's honest way of living. The unidentified man was
working for his wife and two children who were waiting for him at home'.

Udeme Bassey is from Akwa Ibom State and Temitope Jalekun hails from Osun State. The couple recently had an intercultural wedding in October.

Sharing their love story, they said: “Udeme who was based in Lagos was posted to Ekiti state for NYSC. She joined a church (House of Faith Christian Centre) when she left camp.

“Temitope who resided in Ekiti and was also a worker in the church was very single and waiting. Udeme joined the choir in church and would often lead solo for the group.”

“The first time Temitope really noticed her was when she took a song titled I See Victory then he made up his mind to get to know her.”

“They became friends after close observations for 3 months and started dating in the first quarter of 2015. Temitope proposed at the end of the year (2015) and they tied the knot on the October 15, 2016.”

Their wedding took place at celebrations garden hall, Isaac john street GRA -ikeja. Lagos, Nigeria. Temitope is a wedding photographer and made sure his team captured the spectacular pictures at the wedding.
