With Ighalo you won't create chances cos he's always with a defender and doesn't make runs. It's runs that create space for a through pass. It's easier for people to blame the midfielders but if the striker doesn't open up how do you create the chance?

Sir, Ighalo is the best to lead the Attack not Iheanacho cos the latter is better off as a SS. Though the primary Assignment of a Striker is to score Goals, but sometimes you need to look beyond that. You need to consider what he can bring on board aside from scoring Goals.

Having Ighalo as a leading Striker with Iheanacho behind him gonna be more effective. Ighalo Stamina gonna be handy to bully and create space for Iheanacho to exploit and do the needful in the Box.

How on earth are you suggesting the Duo of Iheanacho and Iwobi to lead the Attack?! We've debated countlessly on this Thread that Iheanacho is better off as a SS not a leading Striker with Facts and Stats.

Moreso, have you watched Iwobi played as a SS, even for his Club?! What Match(es), how many Minutes?! You can't just pick Players for Roles based on Perception or personal Conviction Sir.

Y'all been screaming stamina since time immemorial, yet we ain't seen it yet. Iheanacho was able to hold off wanyama before putting one past Tottenham.

Since Nigeria lost to Croatia, i have lost interest in watching any other game at the world cup. Although i watched all the early games before Nigeria's game. Now i have lost the vibe to watch any other until probably our next match. Nigeria should not end my worldcup this early o. Who else is in my shoes?

He only tired out in the second after that second goal went in... He stayed deep and Etebo was beginning to bomb forward with his driving runs.

No no no... Mikel did enough. Part of the problem was this... Whenever Mikel supported Ighalo with the high press there was no one on the right hand channel to connect with both Mikel and Ighalo to cut out more passing lanes of the Croatians' build up from the back. It was always Mikel and Ighalo pressing high up.... This is because Moses was doing a great Job covering for Shehu.

Now Mikel and Ighalo kinda needed a Victor moses to connect centrally but he was not because he was trying to work his own magic down the right channel... Victor didn't play close enough to the box some tines and this kinda disjointed the flow from our midfield to attack on that side of the pitch. And this should not have happened had Iwobi stepped up to the plate and provided that missing link.

Ighalo played highest up the pitch... Followed by Mikel who some times was seen falling back to help build up plays in that first half. Mikel and his midfield lieutenants actually matched the Croatians in midfield.. You cannot dent that fact despite the loss. It is just that Alex Iwobi was not in his usual A Form of drifting centrally to effortlessly help Mikel and Ighalo upfront with Moses doing his things on the wings.

So trying to blame Mikel just because it seems nobody is talking about him is not right. It is not like we are scared to call him out.. It is actually just that Mikel did enough. I recall a fine pass he created through the middle for Moses which was blown away because Moses was looking for a PK. Sad.

Rohr has done well for us let's not forget. we did very well aside the errors we made. we only need to build from here, i would say we retain Rohr and let him continue the building of the team.

Everyone are just emotional. Aside from the formation used, we fell to stupid errors.

the difference is that de gea is already at the top, he has paid his dues, every one knows what he is capable of. while uzoho is still a kid that no one trusts yet. so any little mistake of his will be severely criticised

Why should Uzoho be criticised more than De Gea. A kid is more prone to error than an adult. Uzoho is supposed to learn from those errors while De Gea should have learnt enough not to make that error.

Just watched Etebo's insta story. It seems like they're still making fun of Uzoho. I know its fun and games, but it should just stop.

Uzoho has no problem with it. He even tapped Kelechi for a comment.
