Abi, before forgiveness had no facts. Now he has a fact that can at least buttress his stance yet he's to be shut down without an answer to his claims. Kog45 is saying there's nepotism but let it be. This is Nigeria after all. My issue with forgiveness is that he will not let it rest. He will cry from now till 2022. It's really tiring.
What's nepotism if the coach decides to include Nwakali in any list? I still don't see a reason for the wailing. As far as fact goes, oga forgiveness keeps on cooking his conspiracy theories.

BTW, cant some of the DMs play CD?

If we have like 1 or 2 that can play CD if need be, then we should take fewer CBs.

Another option: Do we have CBs that can play DM?

Shehu is DM but can play RB. I would want us to have more attacking minded players than defence becaude goals win games and not defending.
All this funny posts of defence not winning you games.

All of una just dey call nwakali, pray he get game time and he get a good loan club if he cant get game time in arsenal, because i will not want a division 2 player to be a starter in the super eagles, if na championship club e go dey okay,no b all those dutch division 2 club.
Your problem is that you don't want a player playing in the Dutch division two and not what the player brings to the team. I'm not making a case for anyone but I don't think it's out of place to call a player from anywhere if he delivers.

Both you and forgiveness are conspiracy theorists. Personally I don't have a problem if he promotes Yoruba players. My favourite players in the GWG are Mikel and Iheanacho. Am I a tribalist. I don't like Martins. Am I a tribalist? Infact of all Yoruba guys of Nigerian origin, I'll only make case for Aina. Am I a tribalist?

Who saved you from crashing out of the 2010 world cup? It was one legged Obafemi Martins.

Did I hear you say his short status is his undoing? Bhuuuhahaha! grin

Are you serious?

How tall is Messi? How tall is Aguero? grin

Does that mean Ighalo, Simy and Kelechi are better than these players? Bhuuuhahaha! grin

My Oga, Martins will bench Ighalo, Simy and Kelechi in any team.

He's not in the team because of injury. EOD
I neva said his height is his undoing. I only don't like the fact he is short. I was just having fun.

I use to prefer Martins then to Yakubu cause I felt he was better. I was always surprised when Yakubu starts ahead of him. But since I turned full Super Eagles fan, the nigga haven't really impressed me. Who said Keshi never gave nigga a chance. I watched that match against Kenya. It took Oduamadi to save us from defeat at home. I watched him helped (was it Birmingham) win league cup and I wondered why he has never really impressed me in the National team.
Aside these perceptions, Martins is Short and looking not cool. And forgiveness likes him and I don't see him benching anyone even if invited...
Rohr would invite him
He will not make the final squad
Sir Forgiveness and komekn would bring up conspiracy theories
Sir Mickael2 will discredit the teams achievement
I will be at home laughing at them
I'll like to know what sir Michael have to say.

....your own table soccer was modern,icon4s own was pure floor with Biro cover to.play it.
The modern table soccer involves you folding papers to create your players. The names and numbers are written with pen while markers, pen or pencil, or even all together, are used to paint the players to a desired Jersey colour. The defenders are huge while the forward players are thin.
The bottle top game, I chop everybody I met except my immediate younger brother. I was always cautious whenever I face him just to avoid losing. Last last I won the league based on GD wey I take chop others.

Ok. So my first world cup experience was the one that held on Mexican soil. I watched as Brazil beat Italy to the title. I think it was their 3rd world cup title then. Germany of today was referred to as "west Germany". Gerd muller was the highest goalscorer with 10 goals. Good old memories. I'm talking of 1970 here and I was 25 then. Still shocked I could still recall the events. I'm probably a smartass grandpa.
Are you suppose to detect a lie or tell one?

Humility017:
the first world cup I ever watched in full was the korea/Japan world cup...
in that tournament after the exit of nigeria....Italy became myfavorite team..
I watched how Del Pedro...equalised for Italy against Mexico...he came up from the bench... In that tournament...my excitement was to watch the likes of del Pedro play being the highest paid world player then and figo was the world best....
the Nigeria goal...against Sweden caused jubilation in school then...I was still in primary school then... everyone shouted and was so excited only for my class teacher to report to us we lost the match afterwards.....I was sad all through that day.

prior the Nigeria match against England...I severally asked my senior cousins and many other senior football lovers...on the possibility of nigeria still making the round of 16.... my cousin told me even should we beat the English team 100 nil we won't qualify... I was so sad....all through.
I had to start root for Italy... the Koreans were the cheats of that tournament.... only God knows how they made it to the semi-finals.... they defeated the Italians with the golden goal rule....
and beat the Spaniards in penalties...with goals from Spain disallowed during the hour mark for off sides....

Senegal almost made the quarter final..by beating turkey if not for selflessness ib the part of the players.... they played Turkey to a stand still that day...even had goals disallowed.... prior to Turkish last minute goal.... that tourney was Turkey first world cup...and only world cup they have qualified for....

I still remember ronaldiho goal against England...which topped the head of English goalkeeper seaman... former arsenal and man city goal keeper....

I remember the spree of goals Uruguay and Senegal game which ended 3 all draw... Senegal was a beast team in that tourney....

I remember the whopping of Saudi Arabia by the German team 8 nil first time I got to know of players like klose and ballack...
afterwards cameroon manage win the Saudi's by 1 nil courtesy of Samuel eto goal....
that tourney was one I will never forget... the majestic stadiums and buildings in the cities of Japan and south Korea were second to none....

I rememeber the fastest goal was scored by the Turkish captain 11 seconds against south Korea I have forgotten his name...though i still remember Hassan sas.
I still remember
that world cup signed my interest in football...
Almost my experience too but at elyte89 said, how were you able to comprehend those match. I could only remember that we lost to Argentina, Sweden and drew England. The Sweden loss, I heard goal shout while in school and somehow we knew Aghahowa was the scorer. The match against England was boring to me cause there wasn't any goal. Whoever prosecuted those were inconsequential to me then cause I don't know.
I could remember how my younger brother felt Senegal were being cheated but I never cared. I wanted the turks to win cause of their goal keeper. I could remember that fast goal too. All I heard was "what! 11 seconds?" I only knew it was quick. Then Germany winning Saudi Arabia 8-0. I began to love the Germans from that day. That feeling was so sweet that I was sad to learn that it's usually once in four years.

As we speak Shehu has proven to be more dependable and more solid than Ebuehi.

A right back is first a defender before being a winger. Shehu has better defensive abilities than Ebuehi even though the former is better going forward.

We are up against teams that can mount pressure on our defense for full 90mins. Here, defensive ability advantage far outweighs offensive abilities.

I would pick Shehu's abilities over that of Ebuehi in the game against Croatia.

Shehu is still Rohr's first choice.
I disagree on your choice of Shehu as a better defender. Shehu though is Rohr first choice but I don't see it persisting.

Sadiq Umar is a Roma player.

He's even in for the Athletico Madrid friendly or it's also likely he is among the 35 man list which NFF decided to show us 30 and decided to call the other 5 foreign players to join the team secretly after the friendly match against Athletico Madrid with the excuse that they are just training with the main team. That's all.

No wonder 7 foreign players were called to hide their secret dealings, so as not to make it obvious that 5 were actually on the list. grin

This plan might have been explained to their various clubs in order to secure their release because the clubs, in no normal circumstances are oblige to release their players for an inconsequential friendly that will add no value to the players hence the Roma famzing us. grin

If true, NFF and Rohr wouldn't have been able to explain the inclusion of five targeted players if they announced all the 35 man list at once because it's obvious they are not the best we have this season hence the defactor.

I know the players are the Nwakali brothers, Alhassan Ibrahim, Musa Mohammed and Sadiq Umar. grin

How could they have realised these players names ahead of the obvious better ones that did well this season?

There's nothing hidden under the Sun that will not be made manifest to light.

Wisdom of man is foolish.

Well, I am watching. Peradventure it plays out then I know agent is at work.
You just keep drawing up conspiracy theories. It is getting ridiculous sir.

If chelsea make top4 and Liverpool wins the champions league in 5th position, then Chelsea is still out from champions league, same thing happened when chelsea won the champions league and the 4th place Tottenham didn't make it
It doesn't work that way again. The rule has been changed. But me think they should just make it one extra spot for the league where the winner is from instead of giving it where the winner is outside the designated spot.

It's amazing that they are not seeing sense in what forgiveness said. We suffered a depletion in the national team as a result of the Keshi's choice of players and it affected us badly. We missed two Afcon. Some will say it was Oliseh and Siasia. I say one thing leads to another. Keshi removed the foundation, the house collapsed under Oliseh just like on the positive side Germany didn't win the WC in 2006 or 2010 but Klinsmann laid a solid foundation which Leow built upon and it eventually yielded fruit in 2014 and the Germans are still strong contenders.
There ain't no sense in it bro. It ain't as though we had em good players in abundance. You seem to forget so soon that Oliseh had his Ideas. Brought new cats on board with the aim of ditching the older players who were the foundation. Keshi wasn't even allowed to work sef yet he won som'n, even with his home based quota.
