ChrisKels: Thanks to God it is ur formation not ours. Musa was the best the last this formation was played and u want him dropped just to create a space for Vicmo's unnecessary dribbling and falls up front.
We forbid this. E be like u are on a mission wt dis ur Vicmo woteva dis guy
Oh I didn't even notice Mikel ahead of Etebo and Ndidi Lol. If Mikel isn't ready to partner Ndidi so that Etebo or Iwobi plays ahead, he should sit. Also if Moses isn't ready to play the wing back role, he should also sit
Finito Did you see the formation? Mikel didn't patner anyone. He was behind both Ndidi and Etebo. He was running sh!t from deep. |

goldfish80: The Ighalo bashing is not borne out of reality. Just a herd mentality. It's a classic case of mass hysteria effect. It has become very monotonous and frankly too boring. If you had said Moses or Mikel or even shehu, I accept. But Ighalo? That guy is past it. |

AIG07: The initial word I used Was PLAY.
One thing you guys don't know is that seconds count in football. If you don't make the right decision at the right time then forget it. He did well to win the ball but spoiled everything by holding longer. Iwobi was already there asking for the pass. But he waited few more seconds which allowed our opponents to fall back and gets into position and that was the end of a potential goal for us and an assist for him. This he did repeatedly. One was a pass he got at the center circle which he just needed to pass to a running Musa who was trying to get into space as we were 2 against 2. But baba held for so long till he was fouled. That's why we don't score often when he plays.
IIghalo is good at holding up play but his timings are bad and so let the team down. Hope you get it Sir. Is Ideye not also good at holding up play. Seriously, I had envisaged him not making the World Cup squad if we qualified until he scored against Cameroon. Even at his top form, he was of little use. |

Martz101: Etebo was ahead of mikel, he was the attacking midfielder, he was the 10 yesterday. for Ighalo you guys should watch Nigeria games with clear mind and heart, if ighalo scores you will still jubilate. Of course I ll jubilate. But he hasn't scored for very long. He is wasted. If he comes good again, I ll be his biggest fan but for now, let him get glued to that bench. |

Would be comedy central if it doesn't. We are going curve ball in this game. Interesting. No we ain't. False nine deals with tactics and not personality. |

Heading to Twitter right now, he must be shown his way out
WE ARE NOT COWARDS!.. WE ARE NOT COWARDS!!.... WE ARE NOT COWARDS!!,
#RohrOut Y'all screaming 'WE ARE NOT COWARDS' and I begin to wonder if it is the same Nigerian fan we know of. If not the emotions running in y'all, Rohr is just doing what coaches do. It's funny how y'all thinks he is telling his players not to win because the opponents are better. And for the record, Nigerians have always been cowards. Infact, you all had written them off before the competition started. Majority of Nigerian fans have always lowered their expectations on the team, bash them when they lose and denigrate their achievements when they win. Now we are claiming courage. From where? The courageous ones are ready to ride or die with the team. |

They are so organized.

safarigirl: what will a short Ighalo be doing upfront against tall Icelandic players?
He couldn't even jump high enough against Croatia, is it the tall Icelanders he will now drag aerial balls with?
Rohr has a 6 ft. 2" Iheanacho on the bench, but Ighalo must start, I wonder which NFF official we should blame for constantly seeing a misfiring Ighalo.
At this point, I wouldn't even mind someone breaking Ighalo's leg if it will ensure I never have to see him start a game in this World Cup Sincerely I no just like to dey see him name for any of the formation. |

safarigirl: it has been PROVEN, BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT, that Rohr does NOT know better than anybody.
Let us stop excising rubbish with "Rohr knows better".......it is only insanity that will make someone throw away a formation that has worked for you to play a repeatedly failed formation. Just because he isn't playing the formation everyone wants...? Rohr knows better than us all. We can't keep typing formations on keyboard and feel we're better than the coach because he is losing. None of us here met him before he chose to play 3 at the back. I'm not saying the 4-4-2 is the best tho as I would prefer the 3-5-2. But anyone who thinks he is better than the coach should get a coaching licence. |

Mujtahida: opkay ooo. let mikel play as AM. you are the only one suggesting this even on this thread. i visit other football forums. sir you are the only who i have i read suggesting mikel as AM. this is not the WCQ. its the WC, the real thing, baba. I also agree with chief Icon4s. I saw somewhere that the slow Mikel had a higher average speed than over half the team, including Iwobi. Even the slow balogun was surprisingly on the fast side. |

This why having strength in depth is important in a squad. KC can not play the No.9 Role, anywhere near as good as Ighalo.
So we have to make do with what we have. Seriously? Come on sir... |

Mexico should not have a chance near that German team ... i am not supporting Pinnick either ... but lets give these guys the chance , they can still do better . Iceland is beatable so also Argentina . I really don't see the Germans coming top in that group. They are my next team after Nigeria tho. But whatever position, they do well if they get through to the next round. |
