I asked questions that you could not answer and all you say is that my attempt to whitewash blah blah... I will take you serious when you can provide answers to questions I have raised... until then, follow your fellow herdsmen.

I hope to get a reply from FBI... iF you doubt this, ask for prove and I will present them, which were done TODAY. Even if I do not get a reply, it shows how I operate instead of following herders like you.
Ok, when you get the letter from FBI, come and paste it here. Maybe then, we would believe you...

In the meantime , stop supporting scammers! Evil does not pay.

I am not silly. The way my mind works is different. I have tracked down a company in Nigeria which operates legitimately without an office. During my search, people were scared of doing deals or furnishing me with information... but I found them eventually and how I did that is my business.

This was only possible because of the way I reason. I am not one who is ever known to follow crowd but my own mind, my birth didn't follow the usual routine of a 9 month old baby lol.

I am not saying this is not possible. All I am saying is that how come a crime of this magnitude is ONLY trending in Nigeria. When did instablog became a reputable news source for people to take them serious? who gave them that doc they have been spreading? Are you telling me a whole FBI left the US, left all the news agency in the US and came to Nigeria to handed it to instablog? Someone did, but certainly not the FBI! IF yes, why should the person do that?

This news can not even be found on ANY US news agency website, but it trending HEAVILY in Nigeria. Anybody very close to you who knows one or two things about your dealings, your inner circle can nail you.

Go through most of the guy's post on Nairaland and see what he always posted about, including his last 2015 post... I didn't share that but people who dug did and I read.

This is about connecting the dots... not about supporting crime.

A fraudster has no business being on Forbes or all those public gatherings... they are one of the most secretive people you can ever meet. I spent many years in Benin, a den of internet fraudsters and I know a few things how that environment works. The real dons are not found to expose themselves like this guy has done.

I do not know any internet fraudster who leave their IP (where it was stated as the link to nailing him)so open for someone to track them down IF not someone who has nothing to fear...

I had to reach out to FBI today, I contacted a few and if i ever get a reply from them, I am surely coming to nairaland and share. I will take anything they say over INSTABLOG9JA.
Oga, your attempt to poke holes in the entire story by attacking the source, falls flat on it's face. Save your grammar for the gullible minds who would believe your fairytale, and attempts to whitewash Obinwanne's antics....we are not fooled.

Your thought patterns are warped. Try and see a shrink. sad

semyman:
The Invictus Obi's saga is disheartening not because another Nigeria yet again has been busted for fraud, it's disheartening because the rippling effect will be enormous.
A lot of Nigerians are going to pay for yet another scandal by a single Nigerian.

Thing is Obinwanne was not just another average Nigerian, he had a CV and portfolio that was envied on even by the international community.

He was looked upon as one of the bright spots to come out of this dark hellish place called Nigeria.

Obinwanne Okeke (Invictus) was one of the supposed few answers to the damning question of can anything good come out of Nigeria?

Featured by Forbes as one of the Forbes 30 under 30.
He's been on BBC, given a Ted Talk, Spoke at London school of Economics Africa Summit.
Has a conglomerate spanning across many African countries dealing on oil, agriculture, infrastructure, solar energy etc.
Had a lot of International awards celebrating his achievements

With this sort of portfolio and at 32yrs, he was seen as this bright spark coming out from a country that has more trends for despicable things than amiable ones.

Only to find out that beneath all this facade was a fraudster. A serial one.

An international corporate yahoo boy with suits and a great CV to match.
Estimated to have stolen $20-$22million from US companies from 2011 till date.

There was always that gaping hole in his story about his start up capital that gave an itch of not adding up.
But then we gave benefit of the doubt as we usually do even to our own collective detriment in a bid not to come across as a hater.

He fooled a lot of people and that for a long time. Make no mistake about it, he's going to pay for his crimes. But he isn't my concern.

You can't help but feel for other innocent Nigerians that are going to pay for the crimes of Obinwanne too.

Obinwanne would be in his prison scrub for a long time serving his time.

While other Nigerian out there will be getting Visa denied even after meeting and surpassing all the requirements.

Other Nigerians would have to work twice as hard to earn a modicum of trust and respect within the international community.

International organizations are going to pull out of deals the moment they become aware a Nigerian is part of the deal.

International airports will be a lot more hostile than they already are the moment they see you with that almost worthless green passport.

More companies will start declining cards coming from this part of the world.

Nobody wins here, not you, not me.

Imagine one of the few people who had earned the trust and admiration of the international community being busted for fraud.
What is your fate being an average John Doe or Jane Doe?

While Obinwanne is going to pay for his crimes inside the walls of a correctional facility.

You are going to pay for his crimes in embassy halls, airports, business meetings, immigration offices etc.

It will be no fault of yours, you would probably have all the requirements but still would be treated as an infidel.

When one of your supposed brightest minds has been busted as a fraud.

What are your chances?

Nobody won here.

We all lost.

There are so many scammers on Nairaland and i can remember this guy below that scammed me for a data plan which he never sent to me despite paying the money for the data plan, his details are as follows:

Acc name: Oluwabusi Adeboye

Acc number: 0791819438

Bank name: Access bank.

Phone number: +234 9017925805

He is a scammer and am sure has scammed alot of people on nairaland under the guise of being an entrepreneur that is into selling data and begging people on nairaland to patronize him, hes just a SCUMBAG.

Despite reporting to NL, OP and his team never did anything, its a shame.
The moderators on Nairaland will never do anything to the scammers. sad That is their modus operandi.

But just post a befitting acerbic response, to an insult from any troll who comes from their ethnic group, and see how quickly the misguided mods will ban you for 6 months to 20 years. Hopeless jokers..... angry

Anyway, you can report the scammer to the SFIU unit of the Nigerian Police and to the bank he uses. sad

If you have time, money and energy, get a lawyer to pursue the case for you, so that the scammer's account can be blocked. A trap will then be laid for him by the police and bank officials. Once he shows up at the bank, he will be arrested. undecided

PhonesRe: TH Has Agreed To Buy 9mobile, Nigeria’s 4th Largest Telecoms Provider. by CeterisXVIII: 10:18am On Mar 23, 2018
postbox:
Teleology Holdings has agreed to buy 9mobile, Nigeria’s fourth largest telecoms provider, the investment firm said on Thursday.

9mobile, formerly Etisalat Nigeria, took out a $1.2 billion syndicated loan from 13 local banks in 2013 but failed to make repayments last year. Under the stewardship of its lenders, it has changed its board, management and name and is now up for sale.

Teleology said it had made a $50 million deposit to meet conditions for the acquisition and had partnered with East Africa’s largest telecoms operator Safaricom to transform debt-laden 9mobile.

Teleology was set up by 12 telecoms industry veterans led by ex-MTN Nigeria executive Adrian Wood.

Barclays Africa picked Teleology as the preferred bidder for debt-laden 9mobile last month and asked the company to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 million by March. Teleology said it transferred the deposit to the trustee holding 9mobile shares on behalf of the lenders.

Teleology said it had been in meetings in the last few days with executives of the organisation, lenders, regulators and Barclays Africa, on the acquisition.

The acquisition comes at a time of increased competition in Nigeria’s telecoms sector, Teleology said, adding that it plans to double 9mobile’s network and drive rural internet coverage.

Since the debt issue, 9mobile has lost subscribers. In October it had 17.1 million users, a 12.2 percent market share, which was down from 20 million subscribers, or 14 percent share earlier in 2017, the telecoms regulator said.

AutoReportNG:
We hope this stop their nonsense parking on the bridge
Lagos State govt and federal govt have been talking about building a trailer park for large trucks and haulage tankers for almost 10 years. I hope they get round to completing it eventually. The contract for the construction of the trailer park was awarded since 2010, to eliminate the gridlock on the Apapa Oshodi Expressway, when the road was being reconstructed by Julius Berger and Borini Prono. sad

Ogun state government even constructed a trailer park on Lagos/Ibadan expressway at Ogere near Sagamu, but it has not totally solved the problem of truck drivers parking their trucks indiscriminately in different places. Despite that, I hear Ogun state rakes in N120m in parking fees monthly from the trailer park. undecided

Trailer drivers and tanker drivers are a very unruly lot. It will take more than just a trailer park, to get them to comply with the govt's directives.

Thing May not be working well in Nigeria currently and most Nigerians may be finding their way out of the country , An American Lady recently obtained visa to Nigeria and informed others it's not easy getting a visa to Nigeria, the lady who gave lectures to other americans told them to apply in advance as it took 1 month to get her visa. I wonder what will happen if the Nigerian Economy becomes stronger and the naira becomes more valuable. To all those say getting a visa to Nigeria is easy, why not apply for a visa with another passport and see what will happen to you.
Why should the Nigerian visa be easy to get for American and European visitors? Do these people expect us to dash them our own visa? Are their own visas easy to get for Nigerians? What is this woman talking about, sef?
