Most of you in this forum are here to pick loopholes in what one said. Common sense should suggest to you that it was a mistake. I meant to say last year. Grow up bro. I don't even have your time
Hello sir, my mistake, pardon me for thinking you would have a sense of humor to recognise a joke when you see one.
I don't come here to look for 'loopholes'. Read my previous posts, I have made meaningful contributions and I will still continue to despite the fact that I have got a placement.
This thread isn't meant for us to trade insults.

It has been enlightening so far. Alibaba.com goods seemed very cheap until I realized that shipping the goods are much more expensive. I would definitely have been made 'poor' by alibaba.com if I did not check this out. Loollzz.
Please, any suggestion on how to cut down on shipping fees?

Yes!

I have answered the only intelligent question posed
No single hospital anywhere in the USA will turn a patient who shows up at the emergency room away
Hmmm. Babyosisi, in the name of arguments, let's not put each other down. It is uncalled for.
You sincerely mean all the other questions I asked aren't 'intelligent'? I thought there are 3 levels of delay to seeking health care and that the patient factor is of utmost importance. Don't you think the chances of survival will increase if patients sought health care early?
However, concerning the 'only' intelligent question you claimed to have answered, I came in contact with CHARITY CARE which caters for the uninsured in the USA, the fact remains that somebody ALWAYS pays. Is this the case in Nigeria? Read it up here:

HealthRe: The Real Reason Nigerian Hospitals Ask For Police Report In Trauma Patients by ceyrahtlk(f): 12:52pm On Mar 12, 2015
Right now....no tertiary hospital in Nigeria has a SPECIALIZED burns unit. (I am not talking about ICU....I am talking about a high dependency ward completely sealed , sterile, with health workers dressed like it is a operating theater).

Also, most tertiary hospitals do not have the basic equipment needed to save a burns patient. For a burns patient....you need a re-breatheable Oxygen mask to help with airway and breathing......

Na wa 4u o! What do you mean by NO tertiary hospital in Nigeria have burns unit? And what do you mean that MOST tertiary hospitals don't have BASIC equipments? Haba fear God o.
How many tertiary hospitals have u been to? No offence meant o, but I think you need a reorientation about what a TERTIARY hospital is....Here @ UCH, Ibadan, there is a specialized Burns Unit and I'm sure, until you bring evidence to support otherwise that it also applies to other tertiary health centres in Nigeria.

Doctors in Nigeria are generally heartless
They care nothing about their patients, human lives mean nothing to them and their nurses
The reception has a standing order not to let anyone without the stipulated thousands get past the outpatient department no matter how sick
All they are after is how much they milk from the ignorant helpless citizens
A nigerian doctor will keep a patient for weeks and pour infusion ( drip) down their arms endlessly without a diagnosis
Diagnosing your illness is not a priority, many don't care about that, they are after the payment of the bills
That's why a patient with a treatable ailment will walk in with both legs and leave in a casket
Butchers many of them

In all my years living and working in the USA I have never heard of a single woman I know or a woman known by anyone I know die while having a baby but in Nigeria it's a minute by minute occurrence.
People with normal uncomplicated pregnancies die daily at childbirth in nigerian hospitals due to negligence and malpractice and the families have no recourse.

Ever wonder why these folks don't let patients in on what is ailing them?
Ever wonder why they scratch off the names on the medication bottles they give you?
Ever wonder why they get angry when a concerned doctor calls to chat about a patient in their care and course of treatment?

The same corruption, heartlessness and greed that has permeated every sector of Nigeria is also rife in the hospitals
Why should anyone be surprised?
....And it is the fault of a Nigerian doctor that those pregnant women die shey? The patients don't have their faults?
Is it the practice of d women in USA to stay at home in obstructed labour for 2days and decide to go to the hospital at the verge of death? Or is it the practice of people ova there to stay home and use concotion till their condition deteriorate? How many Nigerians present to hospitals early?
You say doctors in Nigeria care about the money....Pray, tell me, will you get health care in the USA without health insurance? Abi, d health insurance providers will not cover a major part of the fees.
What statistics do you have to show that patients are left undiagnosed? There are patients that require only conservative management.
So please, stop painting us bad in this country. Your points are very prejudiced.

That's for a person born only as a man. He was born with pènis and vagina together.

Though some of his coursemates and roommates while at EBSU came to debunk it. They said he wasn't born an hermaphrodite.

It is only the '3rd parties' that said he was born an hermaphrodite. He never said so himself. On the contrary he said he was born male. His words in quote: "I was
born male but my brain, gestures, features and
carriage functioned as female."

Out of curiosity, how many sets of documents did you send to FMC Jigawa? Cos some places ask for about 10 sets.
Once again, all the best.....I heard the place, Birnin Kudu is a village ooo but that shouldn't be a big concern.

Have you tried applying to hospitals in the North? Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital just did their interview yesterday.
My advice to you is this, check the MDCN approved hospitals for housemanship online, write out the ones in the North, check for their contact online, write your application letter and go to the nearest post office.
Can u imagine that less than 20 people usually apply to these places? Where I'm currently doing my housemanship only 7 of us came for interview....don't wait for the South or West. My 2 cents

HealthRe: 16 Female Patients Accuse Nigerian Doctor Of Sexual Assault by ceyrahtlk(f): 8:38pm On Feb 17, 2015
The truth is that some patients have pervert thoughts. Last month, a lady came to the hospital where I work complaining of breast lump. When it was time for breast examination, the male doctor she met called me to come act as chaperone and before we knew it, this lady started speaking 'english' that the doctor should go away.
The doctor told her to please come and start going o but I told him I would take over the examination because I just pitied her condition but I made it clear to her that the male doctor and 'others' will be there when the time comes to remove the lump.
Imagine if wasn't there, she would have called the doctor a rapist.

What cream is that o! Was it KY Gel? If yes, doctors use it a lot especially for rectal (anal) examinations smiley
freecocoa:
I swear down, some of these doctors are just something else.

That's how one useless one wanted to touch me inappropriately, he even wanted to use something, I later found out to be cream for love making on me, I just jumped up from the bed I was lying on and took to my heels.

Serves the useless pervert right, nonsense.

fuzzywuzzy:
Look at his ugly face. Senseless hegoat. I wonder how many male doctors are still engaging in this rubbish as we speak. I bet they're very many. Especially in a country like Nigeria where there is no law and order and where victims of molest are shamed and accused of lying.
Stop jumping into conclusions! You say Nigeria has no law and order and I say even in Nigeria, there is usually a chaperone when a doctor needs to examine a patient of the opposite sex.

Evvilgenius:
Lol. JOHESU just punished Nigerians for no justifiable reason.
They dropped their tools, locked hospital equipment like its their personal possession, hid keys to various places in the hospitals and even went as far as assaulting innocent sick patients and doctors to the extent of tear gassing preterm babies, an asthmatic doc and other patients.
This people are wicked, thuggish and no different from the almajiris causing unrest in the north.

Kudos to the graduate nurses who dissociated and distanced themselves from such people. God bless them.
