Goodmorning everyone, please i received decision mail on Friday, but I haven't received passport pick up mail till now. Please how many days does this usually take?cos I have trip booked for next week already.

It's just showing 'your appointment is not confirmed and your payment is in progress ' I have logged in severally I still can't make payment as no link of payment or appointment is coming up. What can I do to fix this.

For sure, they are working on November 2023 applications now.

Let me give feedback to encourage someone here.
1st application submitted 8th of November but I forgot to include my Canadian visa refusal 7 years ago,so i cancelled it and submitted a new one 10th of November and included all refusals including US refusal 4 years ago.
Biometrics was done 17th of November, BVL and PPR dropped same time 15th of April.

If you are waiting please be hopeful and I wish you all the best.

If you try to get an LMIA to change your visitor visa to a work permit, know that it's extremely difficult. As for applying for a USA visa in Canada, you can, but currently, the waiting time for a usa b1/b2 interview is 882 days, which is more than 2 years. So, you're better off applying in your home country than in Canada

When u were booking the appointment and chose two people, u were supposed to input the second persons details (name, passport no etc) after the first person under the “add another” tab but you didn’t do that. So now u have just one appointment and I doubt they would attend to the second person.

Please I need a bit of clarification, I chose 2 people in the category to book for biometrics and the site only allowed me to input only 1 applicant details and the biometrics letter they sent had number of applicant :1 written on it. I registered through my second email and as soon as I put the second details it says you already booked appointment. Please I just want to findout if the letter they sent will work for the two applicant. Please can someone help shed light on this🙏

It all depends on the visa officer who will go through your application. Some of them might let it slide since you've corrected your mistake, while others might see it as a fraud.

No I don't have the refusal letter anymore but I gave all the information on the letter.

Failure to declare your past Canada visa refusal will be seen as material deception, and this will have adverse effects on your eligibility review and background check.

The two options available are:
Send IRCC a webform to correct this. Upload the refusal letter if you have it.

Your second option is to cancel the application and then reapply.

It is not compulsory (optional). People do it to validate the documents mentioned in the invitation letter. For example, if the inviter includes an identity card (PR for instance), bank statements, NOA, etc.

It is optional (except it was indicated on the documents requested in the portal before submitting it (specific to applications from certain countries)).
