See now, we cant even wish them dead anymore. |
May Jocelia win by Gods grace. Im already her fan. |
Go granny go granny go, go granny go granny go! After many years of beating ur children, correcting them with koboko, moulding them, u ended up perpetuating the mother of all crime. |
Olorun ma je |
iv told u yorubas, una no wan hear. ok!!!!!!! |
abeg policenab, kill them! Kill them all! Annoying bus conductors and drivers. When u r done, then we will wait for someone to come kill u. hopeless policeman |
because them no gbadun. |
Moaque nko? Those very annoying mosques that disturb my buty sleep by 5am and 2pm. Whose alfas use their speakers for evil incitements. |
because i really couldnt understand the entirety to the banking industry, i couldnt say whether this guy was good or bad, but after this, its clear to me now that this man is into serious organised crime. We all know removing subsidy wont solve the electrical problem. Just wan open another door for them them. |
mama-gee:I so love this. Nigeian leaders think they ve found an enlightened solution to governance. They try to stay connected with the populace. . . by talking not working. |
His mouth made those nice tots but his hands are about to blast 27billion in one day. No need to wait and see. |
War ke? our guys up there have passion for nothing else but their personal benefits. They cant declare any war. Even if cameround just demo declare war on us, them fit go aplogise come even appease them with a gift of PH. Let God help us make it never happen. Bakassi was painful enough. |
^^ Amaks, we are too big for all this. however, Im not even trying to win u or anyone over, so you can carry go with ur opinion. I only want us all to see from all angles. londoner:1. It is clear the two ppls are of different levels of intelect. Not all can make it thru the same route, so if ghana would have to parasite a bit, then no quams. Nothing do them. 2. Whats wrong with cashing in on, Na opportunity now. Wouldnt u take this opportunity if u were in their shoes. After all, we came in and took their positions and they simple tried to balance the equation. 2. Market and production are two different things. Y would a watching audience decide not to patronize them because of Ghollywood Nollywood issue? They have to produce their movies first, they have to sell their actors first. They need a chance to show the Ghana thing! 4. Except we give them a bad publicity in our market, they wont alienate themselves more than they already may be. I for one have only watched one ghanian movie, for 5 mins o . . . and it was the worst thing ever recoreed on tape. Also i think we are the ones not looking at the big picture. Our leaders have failed, we require ghana for the time being. We should be childish, deceiving ourselves. . . we should rub them a lil so we can get wat we want and get the hell outta there. |
Iveanyi:Simple! Wat iv been saying since last month. Note, im open minded on this. Its either they are doing it sincerely to help their ppl or deliberately to get to us. Either way we have position inthe industry, we must understand it and live it. flint7:Bros, u are making a very big mistake to compete with ghana. Competition is horizontal, not vertical. Think the US will compete with us? THE AMAKA:This is why a Nigeian woman must never be president in in Naija. Im sure if u were president and we have weapons, you would have order a pre emptive strike becos of Ghoolywood and nollywood news. Ghanian actors need us, just as our actors need them. Tell urself the truth inspite of ur anger and disgust of them. Uv got to stop competing with ur juniors. na was o. |
Meeeeen, i dont get it with u guys. Is ur hatred for Ghana that bad? Even after everything iv said, you guys just keep struggling with Ghana. Let me point it out again finally. First of all, I believe Ghana is trying to help its own actors, no doubt. Countries all over do this to check certain effects on their economy. I believe this informed their decision. We are better than their actors and thus a threat to their survival. If we came and stole the show from them by having most of their movie crew as nigerians, guy, ghollywood will surely end. However my key point so far is, Ghollywood is not on our level, we are not competing. . . . or are not supposed to be competing with them. Nollywood's current response was retaliatory and thus childish. We are not competing with ghana and i also thought we should have been a little more diplomatic about it. After all, if we didnt need ghana then why the heaven did we go there? So because of vital interests, we should be smarter, instead sending off war signals. If the ghanians and ghollywood perceive this as a struggle - which i think they most definitely would - then our interests in ghana will begin to end. Along with that, u can bet they wont pay our levies, so what then was the gain at the end of the day? What i thought we should have done was to manage the situation with diplomacy and handle ghana as a child. If u like squeeze face, hate them, we went there cos of important interests. |
naija-doll:Thing just tire person. Abi naija own politics na curse? Are these politicians blind or what? Na only them dey this world? Until them drive everybody commot now! A drowning man can clutch on a straw; pretty soon our folks will even be going to Afghanistan becos of the simple feeling of getting out. |
Are u a freelancer or u run a company? If u are a freelancer who can work with MySQL, write PHP and AJAX, pls tell, ur support will be really needed. |
tkb417:I think there is a slight difference in what iv said and what u are reffering to. I believe u r comparing products with a phenomenom. Nollywood is not a product, and even though its may be number 3 in the world, its still growing. Bringing in foreign actors will cripple her growth and also not benefit our economy so it wont be wrong for any authourity to recommend levies or even banning foregin participants. This was the same sttuation inthe ghana must go thing. Remember? This was y we kicked ghana out. But now, they arent even banning our actors, they are trying to encourage their own ppl, to give them a chance to try. Ghana knows they follow us in the movie industry but i believe what they are saying is, we want to grow also. And some funny nigerian quickly retaliated, do me i do u. Its sickening. I think we are the ones to go and develop our own country and fizzle out of ghanna, arent we embarrased going to ghana becos of power. Its like a rich home going to their less priviledge next door neighour to borrow candle. |
No bad o, honestly. Just curious |
whats ur key business for the site. Or what do u want it to be known for? To try to tomple facebook in nigeria by doing another facebook and certainly to even attempt to use "face". If u wanna compete with facebook u must come from another angle and use another key business and then we can get u a name. I am also doing a social site to tomple facebook and it will be out soon. anyho, if u want, i can offer u a free domain name registeration with a hosting package that will blow ur mind. Unlimited emails, unlimited disk space, 100 percent uptime and too much more. |
well, just dont know y this title makes me laugh. Maybe they shoulda stuck to the ususal UNSC seeks end to the middle east crisis. I keep imagining funny images. |
^^ abi o, or you can try www.siddonlook.com. |
Which is it and y? For me its www.simsng.com Very simple with an inviting interface; no noise, very professional, no broken link. Although there isnt frequent activity but its sweet. |
yeah, it beginning to look like that beaf id aint a joke anymore, its beginning to look like a curse. Beaf, are u yoruba? seriously?! |
^^ Do we even have parole in this country? Hmmm, I know we have gparolo! Lol, u only read the title and didnt even read at least a little of the thread, u just wrote a whole psylosophy text book. |
Ruq:lol you are funny, . . . just to hear that makes u happy. Any theres no questions about it, They know it, we know it, but i dont just understand y we forget who we are and our position in the intl community. Same thing in govt etc. I mean, we should be locking horns with Bollywood, , just pisses me off! cold:Yeah right! Think if African American actors and actresses flood the nigerian movie market, think we wouldnt do it? They d be frustrating our home actors and not giving them a chance. If you were a producer in naija, wouldnt u want a more talented US bred actor than ours at home? Sounds painful but be honest. |
mama-gee: ![]() ![]() ? What, Mama gee, i cant contain my curiosity, no vex, but is that truly ur pix on ur profile? |
My guy, its a win win situation, anyhow u look at it. If she s not caught, then she d get paid and enjoy. Or if shes caught, then shed be in a US prision, with a nice warm cosy bed and at least 2 |
Fellow Nigerians, when are we going to stop falling for cheap publicity and noise making in this country? When??My brother dont bother urself. many of our ppl too like bad news and when it comes, they go begin vex. No wonder these politicians are free to manifest all kinds of foolishness, cos they know Nigerias dont calm to consider thoughts. Just tell them now say: Goodluck Jonathan came to power after the death of his boss, Yaradua. You go see how them go dey vex. |
cold:Its not too hard to know an unintelligent noise maker. They always attempt to intimidate with cheap insults For someone who s talking about research and facts, uv make a bold empty claim and didnt even care to drop a single fact. |
Ruq:Serious! Its a very low move that belittles Africa's biggest Movie movement. How can we be wrestling with an organisation that's picking after us. Think if we impsed a levy on say american actors in Naija, think Hollywood will respond in kind? I mean, no diplomacy, no thought, they just sharp sharp "do me i do you." Na small boy dey worry dem. |
My Nigerian brethen, I think this Ghana vs Nigeria comparisons has gotten out of hand. It does nothing but make the Ghanaians ecstatic, it is like an opium for many Ghanaian. Several months ago, I was walking in downtown Calgary (Canada) with a Caucasian friend. As we were walking by a Bus stop, we bumped into a Ghanaian man who happened to be her acquaintance. She went ahead to introduce us, but before we could finish exchanging compliments , and as soon as I told him I was Nigerian, he quickly interrupted, asking me whether I was aware that his country too now has oil in commercial quantities. My friend and I were speechless for a moment - thinking how on earth could a mature adult be so childish and silly - I calmly wished him good luck , and quickly changed the subject before he embarrasses himself any further. No one but we brought ourselves into this situations. If we did our homework right. Just becos of something as simple as electricity now here we are wrestling giddygbo with Ghana and some here are still belittliing Naija while confusing that for supporting their country. Amaka and her ppl should grow up. Nollywood is suffering from identity crisis. |
