Nigeria will be 50 this year & it calls for celebration. The budget of N16.4 billion was slashed because it was on the high side. Critisizing the President will not help, rather we must all be prayerful for God to help us compel the right governance. NAJALYN

AH! BABA GOD, ONLY YOU ARE PERFECT IN ALL YOUR WAYS, You said in Romans 13:1-3 "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished''

So who am i to question their action, i definitely do not want to be punished. . . .You also said, i should not be anxious for anything but through supplication and prayer, i should make my request known to You, so i'd love to make this one request. PLEASE GOD TOUCH THE HEARTS OF THOSE IN GOVERNING AUTHORITY TO REMEMBER MY COMPANY WHEN THEY ARE ABOUT TO AWARD THESE THIS CONTRACTS to be specific REPLACEMENT OF CARPET AT ICC-97MILLION IN JESUS NAME. AMEN! AMEN!!

I pay my tax religiously to these authorities, my heart cannot take this cry cry cryso help me God cry cry
Well, God is an intelligent super being and we can come to Him with our strong reasons. He said evil prevails when good men do nothing so that could mean the nonsense you and I have been seeing since Babangida is because we did nothing. So it is time to do something.

We said we practice a democracy, so we should be able to contribute something for the betterment of our nation. Think God will see that as rebellion?

I taught professor as a president would be better than retire military man, now I'm seeing some inconsistency going on.  Let us use Facebook to pressure the government to provide us with uninterrupted electricity within 2 years with monthly account of the number of power plants complete or about to every 2 months.
Please, Im with you all the way, i begin a move on this on Facebook if there isnt one already. If there is please show us, lets embarrass these guys on the international level. Lets frustrate business as usual on Facebook by directing traffic and comments and get noticed.
CelebritiesRe: Nigerian Parents Wants Aki & Pawpaw Banned From Nollywood by CGKing(m): 10:03am On Jul 11, 2010
Please parents should go and fight better wars and stop this medocrity. Their childrens future is been threatened by corruption and mismangement and they are here talking about Aki and pawpaw. If a director gives them scripts of characters to follow are they supposed to decline it?

You want to sanction Nigerian actors saying they are bad influences to your kids yet leave them with perverted gangster movies from the US.

Leave those guys men, they are making an honest leaving.

From what I read, it doesnt sound like he declined. Looks like he is just waiting to see the next card life will deal. Anyhow, if he does decline, Fashola will make a far better choice to me and think that man just need little more powers.

Is the president sane at all? But he itemized all the problems of the country before he took office and sang it like a song. Which of these problems has been settled? Now approx 10billion will go down the drain in ONE day! Whose going to visit the 6m naira website? With which access? With which power?

Come! e don do, ppl, pls how can somebody become a militant?

Redman44:
Goodluck Jonathan's cuts to the N 16.4 Billion Naira is not impressive. I don't see why we should be celebrating. I believe we all need to put on sack cloth wherever we are on this planet and mourn. We need to wail and gnash our teeth and repent deeply in our hearts as individuals and as a nation. I believe President Jonathan should have organized a live press conference with Nigerians which will be broadcast on Radio, Television and on the Internet. Our President will then give his Independence speech and take questions from Nigerians all over the World. He could use the opportunity to present his plans for the country to us and also address the energy crisis bedevilling Nigeria. The N16.4 Billion Naira is just too much. The money could be used to renovate selected Secondary or Primary schools all over the country. It is not yet time for celebrations. There is a lot of work to be done and after we've accomplished some things, we can then celebrate. It is not as if our Independence Anniversary should be dry and uninspiring, but the proposed cash should be reduced drastically. Cheers.

PoliticsRe: Pastor Okotie Blasts Jonathan Over Soccer Ban Reversal by CGKing(m): 12:45pm On Jul 09, 2010
I dont agree! The president should be aware of his office and the communications of his actions. He demonstrated that he did not properly consider the action before he took it. It shows he is not stable and can easily be carried to and fro by everywind of doctrine. We cant keep supporting nonsense even though its the best nonsense we ve seen in a long time.

All Pastor Okotie is saying is simple. Im sure if Nigeria had nuclear warheads, Jonathan may have launched a couple at the object of his anger only to say he is sorry later in the week. Its rubbish.

By rough estimate, i guess the Nigeian population is about 100million. Just give each Nigeian 1million each and you incompetent leaders can jeun lo with the remaining billions and we can all have a wonderful celebration together.

TV/MoviesRe: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by CGKing(m): 9:11pm On Jul 06, 2010
biting the what that feeds what? What is that?

Cant believe we are not even ashamed to compare Naija with Ghana. Ghana for crying out loud. Lagos whether capital or not shouldnt be compared with Accra if we did what we were supposed to do. Lagos is Naija's one time capital and our biggest commercial city.

See we have talents here in our country, we have potentials, great stuff, but when these did not produce results for us then what is there to be proud of? With nothing, but their silliness, like some of you have said, Ghana was able to deliver 1 full year of uninterupted power supply, and we are here talking sentiments.

You continued jeers at Ghana ridicules you as a pure case of "sense man wey die for foolish man backyard". Pls you guys should stop this. Its just really embarrasing. Afterall Ghana is not taxing Hollywood, they are taxing nollywood, wetin carry una go there.

Biting the hands that is feeding what, pls gimme a break!

Thanks Daddy! But you didn't indicate whether they did it for free or not; in case they were paid, obviously there weren't enough jobs in "good Ghana" then. Well i was never taught by a Ghanaian tutor and i honestly don't miss anything. They did you a favor,so you can hero-worship them, grin
You r so funny. What are u talking about? U want them to have worked for free so you can understand the situation or what? That I was taught by a ghanian is not the point. . . after all i didnt drive them out of naija. , How can I xplain this thing to you now, you sound like a baby.
TV/MoviesRe: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by CGKing(m): 3:04pm On Jul 06, 2010
Well, I knew for certian Ghanians were excellent teachers and then schools seemed to have alot of Ghanians in their staff, back then when I was in Primary school. We had a good number of them too. I dont know what else they did but i loved Ghanian teachers, heck my parents even brought em home for after school lessons.

Tell me, if they werent that good, they wouldnt be sort after like they were as compareed to their Nigerian counterparts. That would only mean they were impacting the education sector positively. Then we sent them packing saying they stole our jobs and stuff. . .

Plssssss guys, the very same thing is what is happening right now, only they arent sending us packing. They just wan chop inside. y' know now.

Liedetect:
Nigerians seem too interested in Ghana for my liking. I've stated before, Nigeria should leave Ghana and Ghanaians alone and concentrate on the bigger picture. We'v always excelled individually or collectively, when we do, by having no inferiority complex and just going ahead with things. If we start concentrating on small Ghana, however successful they are or may become in future, we'll be dragged down.

Ghana is poison to Nigeria, we should wish them all the best, as Africans, because we as Nigerian have always batted for Africans and blacks generally. Wish them (Ghana) the best, prey for their success in future, but forget them and face the rest of the world.

Remember Oyibo will always use one set of black people to keep another set of more adventurous black people in their place. In my opinion Ghanians seek to take advantage of this oyibo attitude in order to better themselves. They will try to show the western world that they Ghanaians are on their side against the horrible Nigerians. In the coming years Ghana cinema, with foreign help, will or may rise to dizzying heights, but Nigerians should not react by running over there, Nigerians should concentrate on their own cinema, develop the grassroots, invest, pioneer, hustle, innovate and be adventurous as always.

Nigerians are good and bighearted people, straightforward and generous.
The nature of things always come around in the end to favor such people so long as they work hard.

cast your eyes to the stars - no pun intended - not to Accra
We should be sincere with ourelvves and stop all this annoying sentiments
TV/MoviesRe: Ghana Slams $1,000 Fee On Nigerian Actors by CGKing(m): 2:33pm On Jul 06, 2010
Well I think the chickens have come home to roost. Ghanians were once in Nigeria remember? helping our education sector, now decades later,  the table is turned and we are upset about it. I think we deserve it. We should even show a little shame that we have to produce Nigerian movies in a country like Ghana. More so a ppl we humiliated decades ago. Now u want them to forget? For what?

Pls we need more of this kind of bullshit. Bring it on!!!

Nigeians should make Nigeria better.

I wonder too. Corruption is even in our churches and mosques. Imagine an imam using his moque and loudspeakers to deride ppl, stirring contempt and hatred for his personal enemies in his neighbourhood. Its as if Fashola is fighting a one man war. How long before he gets infected?!

Sonnerkind, please do not talk about revolution on this site o.
Sorry my guy, u cant talk about this without the revolution talk. Except we want this country to remain like this, we must take drastic action. Have u not wondered y this corruption seems to never want to leave this nation? Obj went from prison to president and we tot ok now, after that experience, we now have a God moulded leader that will fix the nation and then what happened next? EFCC was created and we tot now somethings gonna happen,. . . then Yarudua became president, declared his assets and preached this servant leader bullshit and we said yes, this is it finally. Inspite of all these occurences, corruption thrives like we ve been joking.

Guy, we need to try something drastic. E be like say head must roll before them go chill.
