At least we no longer hear of if Jonathan does not win, then the Niger delta will block any one from lifting our crude oil! Lol! Crude now seems on its way to worthless extinction, it's so unbelievable that our crude now hovers on deep water without reliable buyers! How time changes! How the clock of time ticks away! Nothing lasts forever, this is a lesson to we as a nation to look inwards and develop our limitless natural and human potentials! And also a warning to the Niger delta's to cease their pride, cos nothing lasts forever! It's time we as a citizen demand accountability, sincerity of purpose, Integrity, honesty and outright disdain for corruption! Only then can we be great again! And honestly I do not see the Jonathan administration forging this road map! At least not from precedents set in the last six years! And before you quote me or call me a hater! I am proudly Niger delta but a truthful one, not minding whose ox is

Romance / Re: Advice On How To Love Him Please by chadnezzar0worl(m): 3:53pm On Jan 04, 2015
You sound smart intelligent and comely! Marriage is enough bumpy ride on its own, then why do you want to complicate it further by going in with someone whom you can't naturally develop a chemistry with over three years ! If its not there its not there, u can't feign it for long, u can't force it! It comes naturally for those who desire to be real! Or probably you guys did not develop because you met him with the impression he was looking for a wife, and so ur natural female defence cropped up, just keep an open mind when chatting with him, ND talk less about marriage, also keep an open mind bout guys, ND stop jumping into relationships and jumping out in the name of searching for the right one, not forgetting being prayerful as well!

Nairaland / General / Re: Things You Hate To See On Nairaland by chadnezzar0worl(m): 1:56am On Jul 30, 2014
I sincerely feel ur pain, used to be an ardent follower of nairaland, it was a great Avenue to get entertained, informed, with intelligent and analytical submission from sharp minds, even when opinions differed, it was thrashed out logically without hate, bile, prejudice, tribal or religious sentiments. Unfortunately the reverse seems to be the case, nairaland painfully is now occupied by low lifers, void of honor or self values, who turn every thread into a tribal or religious war zone, insults nd vile words are traded without caution, swearing and callous words is now the order of the day! Men are no longer judged on the contents of their heart or strenght of character, but basically by tribe or religion coloration!
I weep for the future my nation is producing, when I see the contents of the heart of today's youth! For even my bible tells me, that out of the content of the heart the mouth speaketh!
Where is the respect for one another, where is the intellectual discourse and reasonable submission! A friend once told me Nigerians would buy basket for fetching water, as long as that basket is made by their kinsmen! We shamefully fight nd loose our peace and self esteem for people that barely care we exist! We ve turned a meaningful forum into a show of shame and hate. I tell Nigerians we have only two tribes, two religion, two ethnicity, two class stratification! The elite group and the common man, those that ve put this nation where we re today and we the citizens, the ruling class and me and you, and no one of them cares about you, they are all motivated by personal interest and materialistic consideration! They would always play the tribal and religious card when things don't go their way! Cos they know we re polarized along such trivial lines!

How often do they ve tribal fights in d senate or in the eucholeons of power? None! Cos they sit and plunder our nation collectively!
Their kids mingle with kids of same social and financial standings, irrespective of tribe or religion! While we sit down here nd tear our selves to shrewds, the least any of you can be is paid lap dogs, and I bet it's peanuts! Yet u mortgage your future, your conscience, ur values, and line up behind men of little honor!

Please and please let's try to restore the dignity of the Nigerian youth, once epitomised by thoughtful and intellectual analysis on forum as such! Let's stop the hate, and for kids who won't grasp my points! I beg to say F....... off

Politics / Re: Obasanjo's First Wife Wrote A Book About Him by chadnezzar0worl(m): 11:55pm On Dec 21, 2013
quite an intelligent write up! Story of most men of power, with high libido! But it doesn't stop him from being a great man ND a true nationalist, a cat with nine lives
ImperialYoruba: Out of all the cultures in Nigeria, Yoruba women have the best of equitable and respectful treatment in their household and relationship with husbands, particularly in expression of viewpoints their voice is never shut out. There is visibly a breakdown of proper communication channells in Obasanjo's household and one has to wonder why, given his status.

His household is venting and using the public to reach and tell him what ought to be told privately in family meeting. This could mean he does not keep an open door policy with members of his household and they find him closed to approach. How about Uncles and Aunts and other heads in the extended family to use as conduits? This is a disfunctional family.

Men that are gifted with abundant testosterone are always lacking in soft social skills where emotional empathy and the warmness of heart is needed to relate and support. Therefore they fail in marriages because they are unable to give to the household what it needs to stay put in longevity. Not finding support the wife rebels and takes her grief and children away with her. These men have best appeal and women find them sexually irresistable. Woman after woman, no time to share affection with his children and soon the coldness puts a distance and resentment in the children. Where do we find these men? What they lack at home they posess in society. They are superbly successful in running systems, whether strategic or tactical. They are the best in their career field. Look at people who have great success in military, politics, finance and banking, oil and energy, science and engineering, computing and technology, news media and publishing and so on. Their wealth is what holds their silently suffering family together.

Like this woman said, she is not only one in this predicament. If the wives of high grade military generals and wives of super successful politicians or engineers and technologists and inventors were to come forward with their stories, our jaws will hang so low it will drag on ground from shock and speechlessness.

What Im trying to say is, this news has zero national relevance, we should ignore it. cheesy cheesy

The letter has nothing to do with ebele, its a big indictment on the political ruling class, ND we the citizens who are never tired of eating poo! It reeks of years of neglect by obasanjo, basically towards his family ND his lack of care ND love towards his children! I must admit obj is one hell of a manipulator and a selfish one at that, who feels he is the father and savior of Nigeria. This invariably does not take away the sting from Jonas government,as there are lots of silent questions begging for answers, not by means of public letter, but by sincere and quality Governance which is lacking presently! Nigeria seems to be a jokeof self seeking individuals, with no interest of the governed! How pitiable? Once again hell hath no fury as a woman scorned, whether a daughter a lover a mistress or even a maid!

Even jona na comfimed flirt, but d wise women keep a blind eye nd deaf ear, fighting nd nagging never changes a man, rather go down on ur kneels in intercession, cos u don't even know d negative forces outside nd focus more on ur kids, if u can't stand it, then be separated for a while, but never cease praying for ur home, then watch God touch him and heal ur home nd he would love and honor u for life! Religion / Re: Bitter Truth About Blessed Virgin Mary by chadnezzar0worl(m): 3:35am On Dec 17, 2013
best post so far! Got me thinking as a catholic! If d honor or worship of Mary was so important, then after the death of jesus, none of the apostles continued neither was it stated as a commandment in any of jesus or disciples teachings, not even Paul or Peter ever said we hail Mary in all their epistles, or jesus state it, the only emphasis was on knowing him as the only access to God, been reading my Bible lately, nd this Mary stuff doesn't add up anymore!
gbrown:
bros there is no need to rain insults on people, we all seek the truth, i was once a catholic, the worship of mother and son dates back to the kingdom of nenevih, nimrod and the mother semiramis are the originators of this practice they even had priest who acted as intermediaries between the people and the sun god, thier are so many things catholics undulged in that are not in conformity with the bible
*catholics pray to Mary to intercede on thier behalf
*catholics pray to saints to intercede on thier behalf
*the Roman catholic bible contains the apocryphal which is not included in the king James version
*catholics believe in purgatory
my beloved brother, i have moved with seminarians and priest believe me they are very human, i dont want to go into gory details,
bros, whichever way you look at it, it,s wrong to worship or pray to Mary, i,ll suggest you research on d ancient worship of the sun god by the Romans you will see striking similaritie,
finally, my bros, lets look up to Christ the author and finisher of our faith, it,s not every doctrine we accept it must be bible compliant, may the peace of the lord be with you, i guess u wanna know if i honour Mary?yes i do so in my own unique way, i say thank u lord for Mary who was found worthy if not for her mankind would have been lost, bros it ends there, i will never worship or pray to Mary that,s idolatry it,s unscriptural

GEJ more accommodating! Yes! A better leader than OBJ! I beg to differ, in saner countries GEJ he can't even lead a classroom, obj is a born leader, respected for his leadership credentials in and out of the country,nd maybe a lot of you do not know that obj 8 years was d most trying in d political and democratic period of this nation, stabilising the polity after years of military rule and bastards action was no mean feat, u think GEJ could handle that transition nd curb d military nd tame d mind set of public holders, only obj could, it's no mistake he is respected in d whole of Africa, nd u know d truth! He is still d best civilian president this nation has ever had
Point well made, it is not about Nigerians, but about a waning political influence.
I will never forgive OBJ for squandering the best 8yrs of international goodwill Nigeria ever had after a glorious dawn in 1998-99 when we heaved a sigh of relief and anticipation.
Everyone was expecting him to follow in the steps of the great Madiba who was leaving office at about that time, by doing a ssingle term of 4yrs, reconcile the nation, set a template a for true transforming, people oriented governance, but lo and behold, OBJ instituted official corruption in Nigeria starting with the financially induced election of Evan Enwerem as senate president, against the popular choice of Okadigbo, murdered innocent men, women and children in Odi and Zaki-Biam, betrayed and sold Bakassi and it`s people in anticipation of a nobel peace prize. Made political assassination a political tool. Who can forget A.K.Dikibo, Bola Ige etc.
GEJ is 10 times a better and more accommodating leader than him.
Olusegun Obasanjo represents a generation of leaders that failed Nigeria and should please shut up !
meaninless post! GEJ silence is not golden, it's a result of bereaved ideas, nd he has his abati nd okupe, with ready replies, even when a fly perches they ve a reply, but this letter beat them hands down, for every well and deep thinking Nigerian, they re quite aware that obj letter is much more than fables or political blackmail, there re a whole lot of truth embedded in it, but for only sharp nd discerning minds,
babyface333: Obasanjo ran to kenya were GEJ was invited for their independence to meet our president. He is utterly shocked that GEJ didnt even mention anything or the contents of the letter to him there. I guess OBJ was thinking GEJ would begin to ask him, caution or even start to curry favour from him. Obasanjo is trying to use such a weighty letter to whip GEJ in line so as to play his godfather role again and reckon to relevance. He is still shocked that GEJ called his bluff in kenya, just had dinner with him and everyone left.

Gej's silence in the midst of all this provocations from these bitter politicians is a thing of concern to them. They dont know what he has in the offing. If it was obasanjo that was been accussed of all these atrocities, heads would have rolled by now. If OBJ can reply ordinary edris abdukareem on his famous song "nigeria jaga jaga" and say na him papa and mama jaga jaga, then we can imagine other oppositions. This same OBJ destroyed the opposition, took in some of them like late bola ige, today were is bola ige.

I love GEJ for one thing. His silence is uncommon in the midst of all this provocations. His silence has earned him the name clueless and retardeen. For sure, who ever tutored GEJ in this roughshod called nigeria politics is the best.

I will drop machiavelli's famous quote " the end justifies the means".

I am from the Niger delta and willingly voted for G.EJ, but sadly enough he has done nothing to justify our collective vote as a nation or improve the Niger delta region. 2015 is still a long way to go, ND if our president is wise enough, he should concentrate more or delivering on d divided of democracy and salvage what ever is left of his failed administration.

Nigeria is a complex state, with a lot of intricacies, ND Jonathan first mistake was alienating OBJ and appeasing the north with juicy positions and contracts, when d chips re down, he will be left to stand alone with political light weights ND noise makers who re no power brokers, as well as e campainers who has no say in the actual scheme of things,
On the contrary he is loosing public sympathy by the day, even in his own Niger Delta, those who re discovering that the same old slogan'he is our brother' is not strong enough basics to fight his course, except for a few noise makers who re directly benefitting from his dish out of unprecedented corruption.
if he must appease the masses in this his war! Then he must genuinely tackle corruption, gain the trust of the masses, deliver devidends of democracy,

A president dat talks and nobody listens, no charisma, clueless, dump and above all an ingrate. N3trillion is alleged missing and GEJ is not bothered? I am from Delta, Wat av we benefited from GEJ? Nothing. Keep empowering Ijaws and militants alone, selfish Bastard of a president.
