Blackputin2324: . Flyers jobs , it’s called promoter , this are the only easy available jobs for students also those without russia language skills , Depends on the hours , if u are active and u can work 12 hours daily u can earn up to 6k naira daily minimum, only if u are active with naija agbero ruggedity without shyness , u can work also in the ship , any other decent jobs , you need the language , secondly documents ; temporary resident permit . With this documents u can work easily in any construction companies ,loading and offloading of parcels in any courier logistics companies .. so many options etc ... this are just the basic ... take note , almost 70% of Nigerians in Moscow and peters are illegal immigrants , if u are illegal Russia is harder compared to those on student status with zero language skills .. also hard ....to survive in Russia you must be rugged ... no play for here 6k naira daily minimum? I fit do 20hours per day sef. But are classes fixed in a way that it will take much of the day? Can one still do the job full time during holiday? With wat I v passed through in this country for d past decade, surviving in Russia na peace of cake once there is job to do. |

Blackputin2324: If you want to go to russia for study purpose , kindly be strict with your studies , you can’t be studying in Nigeria universities and be asking people for part time jobs .. it’s logical .. russia is not English speaking countries , first you must learn the languages which is the first priority , secondly you need a working documents, I mean residnential permits before thinking of any decent jobs , cities like Moscow/peters are not black friendly cities even if you are a russian passport holder , most blacks in Moscow are doing business, either clean or dirty ones .. You should have done some Research before coming on nairaland for advice , opportunities to teach English depends on the cities, cities with less blacks , maintained decent reputation , .. Siberian region , Yakutia etc , this are region in Russia with opportunities , not Moscow or peters , only thing you can do in Moscow and peters is given out flyers on the streets , metro stations etc .. no decent jobs, ...
Dis are just all what you needed to know about russia nothing more ...stay blessed ... wow. If I may ask,how much do peeps make from that flyer distribution? I asked about part time jobs because I may not be that buoyant enough to cater for my bills aside tuition free funding. I applied to two schools in Petersburg -hse and spbu because of their ranking . So am not totally banking on Russia for life but as a route to elite Universities in Europe or north america,. Aside teaching and flyer distribution, no other possible part time job?am not bordered about the racism issue because in Nigeria,it abounds. |

Judesworld: Under normal circumstance, as a student you are entitled to travel anywhere around the world provided your university provides a back up letter to the embassy authenticating you as a student of their institution but unfortunately most of our fellow Nigerians have abused the opportunity as it was discovered that most of the African immigrants seeking asylum in the Western Europe are originating from the Eastern Europe hence the strict issuance of visas to African students irrespective of their status.
As a student back then it was much easier getting visas as the situation wasn’t as bad as it is now but as a post graduate student you might be lucky.
Russians are the nicest people you can ever work with if you are straightforward, true to your word and don’t try to compete with them. that's too bad. I hope one get luck shah |
Travel › Re: Russia Student Visa And Life There by chaiks: 3:43am On May 12, 2019 |
Judesworld: You should first of all ask yourself, did you keep any job in those countries? Secondly using a Nigerian passport to get a visa to those countries from Russia is times 5 more difficult than applying from Nigeria.
If I were you, I’ll starting watching YouTube, learning English phonetics, improving your grammaticals and vocabularies so by the time you get here you can start from teaching the Russian students in your school after which you can then start applying to kindergartens. thank you for ur direction. I v already started watching YouTube videos on English teaching in Russia. But seems one needs to know the basics of Russian language to be able to teach well. Now tell me, have you ever visited another country from Russia and returned to Russia? I expect that getting to these neighboring countries would not be dat hard with a Russian student visa according to a friend in Finland. |

Logachev: Bros, you want to travel to Estonia, Finland and Norway...do you have visa to those countries? Or do you think Russia visa is Schengen visa? Please before you start building castles in the air over teaching job, ask your informants for references of Africans who are teaching English anywhere in Russia or who have a job, and how much RR they are being paid... I'm not above learning too. lol. Am only asking what the prospect of getting into any of those countries from Russia is like. Besides, I v heard of teaching jobs, so am equally asking what other jobs students in Russia can do aside teaching. So I believe anyone who has lived in St Petersburg or Russia as a whole will have a first hand experience. |
Travel › Re: Russia Student Visa And Life There by chaiks: 12:12am On May 10, 2019 |
Judesworld: Life is much more better in Petersburg than in Moscow because the blacks in Moscow are not regarded as most of them go about picking pockets and constituting nuisance on the street unlike in Petersburg where people are asking to take pictures with you because there are still people here who haven’t seen a black person before.
Life is good in Russia as long as you have sufficient money to take care of yourself, you can actually get a job in Petersburg as an English language teacher if your command of English is outstanding. wow. Thanks for replying. But please what's the prospect of moving to countries like Estonia, Finland or Norway to work during holidays? Aside English teaching, what other jobs can students in St Petersburg do to support themselves? |
