You can fool some self-hating Nigerians but you should know that Nigerians are bold and ambitious travellers. Many of us now know what is going on in Ghana firsthand . Nigerians do far, far more good and legitimate things in Ghana than criminal endeavor and you know it !!! It is the positives they do that is responsible for your xenophobia. [b]@Kenyanstar , and u and ur backward country are saints? ur backwardness has also manifested in ur reasoning capabilities.Get it right,this is not an issue of contravening d law by nigerians rather that of a country violently denying pple their right to own and run businesses as contained in the ecowas charter.The imposition of levies/taxes on Nigerians running businesses in ghana is contrary to the general provisions of the ecowas treaty and should be totally discouraged by all ecowas nations,not just the nigerian govt.Quite understood,the nigerian govt has been insensitive to the plights of her citizens both home and in diaspora.But this issue concerns all ecowas countries and should be tackled b4 it becomes a trade war with its adverse effects.Singling out Nigerians as the only pple engaging in illegal activities is really unreasonable and unfounded.If the US,Britain etc do what Nigeriasns do it will be called capitalism and if Nigerians do same it becomes fraud.I think we should free ourselves 4rm this mental and economic imperialism and adopt the Charles Darwian theory of the survival of the fittest which to my understanding is what capitalism represents.[/b] |

@all well said.u v to also punish ur communication skills very well (both written and spoken) cos they add flavour to ur degree.What u studied at ur undergraduate does'nt really matter much,at least at d entry level.Hit the 2.1 first and be positive about ur career plans. I also v a BSC.ED/Economics but am not into teaching. wishing u d best. |
