Hi Rare.

Yes my program does nt accept applications for January.My sponsor is my in law who owns an insurance coy and has a current balance of 11m.I wont be receiving any scholarship.There is sufficient cash flow in/out of my sponsor's a/c.

Do u think its worth going for UNB or U of A? I do like U of A but cant wait till September 2011.

Gd day broda.4rm ur post i gathered u r currently studying at d uni of newbrunswick.Hope am right?I got an offer 4rm UNB and U of A for fall 2010 for MA Economics but was denied study permit.Now,I intend reapplying.But my concern now is,U of A does nt accept application/deferral for January but UNB does.Is it advisable I go 4 UNB and how would u rank d both schools? I learnt U of A is a very top school in canada.

Also d visa officer said :"there is no proof of contingency for sponsorship."what does dis really mean cos i wan 2 reapply by Aug.

Tanx 4 ur detailed response.Regarding ,my finances,I own a biz and had submitted my biz registration info and attached my personal bank a/c with over 200k.Also my brother inlaw is more or less my brother cos he is married to my sister.So there is nothing bad using him as my sponsor.Also he wrote a letter 2 the CDHC to that effect.

I am planning reapplying 4 Jan 2011 term.I am only a fresh graduate n cannot sponsor myself 4 the time been.Regarding waec cert,I did not submit any cos I felt since I am going 4 graduate program n had concluded my first degree dat will not be required.Trust me,i will bombard them with documents dis time lol.

I am also planning attaching an affidavit to my sponsor's a/c statement .My school fee is $8,800 and my sponsor has #11million plus in his a/c.Dont u think d CDHC was unfair 2 me?

so @ 99dreamkid I think its nt by documents submitted rather the disposition of the visa officer.

I got my doc and a letter 4rm the CDHC last wk stating that I am denied a study visa for the following reasons:
1.No proof of contingency for sponsorship
2.Incomplete educational documents,personal finances.

These were the documents I submitted:

1.Adm letter 2. GRE and toefl scores 3. degree cert 4.transcript 5. NIIT training cert 5.Microsoft professional cert. 6.NIM cert. 7.my bank statement with 200k+
8.my sponsor's acct statement with 11mil. 9.a letter 4rm my sponsor and his recent tax clearance 10.his company reg. cert. 11.a sworn affidavit 4rm d ikeja high court stating i would return after my studies.12.birth cert. 13.identification cert 4rm my state.i)Police clearance certificate
(ii)Form A-2E: Family composition & Employment history

Note:in my sponsor's letter,he stated he would employ me to work in his Insurance firm upon graduation

Now I want to reapply,what document(s) do u think I did not include in my previous application and what does the above two reasons mean?My sponsor is my brother in law.I think the CDHC was hasty in assessing my documents.

I have a very big problem.Some days ago I had an accident and in the process lost some vital documents including the Ticket Number given by the CDHC.What is the implication of loosing this ticket and how do I resolve it? It has been of concern to me since I left the hospital.I applied for my study visa on the 14th May and currently hoping to hear 4rm the CDHC .This incident is really a big blow to me right now.

Ur urgent response will be of help to me for I am really confused now.

, well advisable to use fake documents for visa purposes.The odds are always bad.I think u can still use ur former passport and try 2 b truthful this time and pray 2 God.

, still praying 4 a positive response 4rm them.Meanwhile,were u asked to pay ur fees b4 u were issued with d visa?Cos most of my friends said at a point u will b required to pay all ur fees.I would prefer paying my fees on arrival to avoid transfer cost.

I submitted d filled forms and d police clearance 4rm alagbo.

I am only a self employed computer engineer n does not receive HUGE income.I only submitted my bank a/c to prove dat i am not a dependant, Am also doing my nysc n will finish by june.I will be sponsored by my brother inlaw.

What do u think of my application and when are u leaving 4 Canada?

i enrolled 4 NIIT training ,but i wanted to register 4 oracle but they told me that there is no space now unless by January.But i really need the program now.They advised me to go for MCSE(microsoft certified system engineer).I studied Economics in my first degree.
Do you think it is wise going for this option?
