Ibime: Guys, what happens if one of your players doesnt play. Does he automatically get subbed? Yes . . . . but only if you haven't made a manual sub initially. After making manual subs, no more automatic subs for you mate. Automatic substitutions
Once the data for all the matches in the round has been determined as final, automatic substitutions will be made providing no substitutions or captain changes have been made. |

Sagamite: Kaita was playing more like a right CM, not a right winger or midfielder. Incorrect! He was playing on the right side of midfield with Haruna and Etuhu in the middle. The same position he played in all the friendlies. Don't look at the BBC line up . . . they get it wrong most of the time. Osaze was basically playing behind Yak . . . . like a free role. No one analyzes player positioning better than me As soon as any game starts, thats the first thing I look out for Sagamite: The minute he is off, the Greeks will have an EXTRA player free to attack, so you need a player that can help defend that. That is why Osaze filled in that position to balance things on the right. Sagamite: When you get to the pitch of Saturday, try and play that Ghanian David in RB and see whether he would be displined enough. David is not RB but he'll do a good job in RM. Obasi didn't come in to play right back did he? Odiah was already there (Roger Miller woulda done a better job than Odiah anyways). Sagamite: No matter if you think we do not have the players, playing a striker in midfield is the worst decision, when you have a DM, not matter how bad you think he is, he is far better for a defensive job. A striker in midfield? Yeah it depends where in midfield. A striker in CM might be a wrong tactic but a striker out on a wing is fruitful. Most of our strikers are forwards/wingers anyway apart from Yak and maybe Martins . . . any other one of them play on the wing. |

Sagamite: You have just gone one man down, you are leading one nil, your opposition just introduced an extra striker and you have 3 subs to make. What you need to do is you defend your lead for 90mins or as long as possible by introducing a midfielder since it is a midfielder sent off. I repeat, you need to defend your lead, not counter attack. At least not immediately, not when they have just introduced an attacker. If you fail in defending your lead and start losing then you can start counter attacking. WE DO NOT HAVE THE PLAYERS!!! The midfielder that was sent off was playing on the right not in the middle. So Odemz simply went to the wing with Yak up top which balanced it . . . . 4-4-1 |

Sagamite: Thank you that you release the battle would be won in midfield.
We already have weak midfielders that cannot dominate, are not too good defensively, we are one man down, is that the time to introduce a striker to midfield?
Even if anyone claims Ayila is not good enough, surely his introduction makes more sense than Obasi when the battle is going to be in the midfield after we lost one of our midfielders?
Ayila is a Champions League regular for some years now. That experience and defensive title is better than Obasi who is a striker. Obasi came on the wing . . . . not in the middle. The coach wanted to attack prolly cos he knows he doesnt have the player. That is why I said its a lose lose situation . . . if he decided to defend people will still say he should have attacked. He decided to attack, people are still saying he should have defended. He loses either way! |
