There are really no permanent friends nor foes in politics. The senate president; Bukola Saraki and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Bola Tinubu seemed excited to meet each other at president Muhammadu Buhari's book launch earlier today at the International Conference Center ICC, Abuja. Both politicians had a rift over the leadership of the upper chamber of the national assembly.

Also present were the House of Representatives Speaker; Yakubu Dogara and Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, both who "battled" over the leadership of the lower chamber .

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, NFF Chairman, Amaju Pinnick and others visit National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu to assess the extent of injury sustained by a Rangers player who suffered a fracture at the dying minutes of the match against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.

The governor ordered that the injured player be given the best of medical attention, even if it entails flying him abroad to enable him play football again...

Enugu Rangers won the 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League after defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 4-0. Ike Ekweremadu, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and others were present to celebrate the crowning of the club as the League champions -after a 32-year wait.

A young man has revealed how he completed a task given to him by his local government chairman -to draw a painting of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to him, he completed a work of 30 days in 6 hours after his work was destroyed by fire....

My victory story started when I had the opportunity to make a real drawing of a great man in the country and the great man is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu I am sure we all know him has a great man. I was given a job by our local government chairman to make a real drawing of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to have it in is office.

I gave the ultimatum of 30days that I will complete the work and thank God I did, I completed the work now it is time to present the work. Hmmm the midnight of the day to present the work a fire out break happened and burned down the work it was so painful I was totally in pain and it remain just 6hours to present the work.

That's when I went to buy new materials needed and went back home to start the work over again and I am very happy I completed a 30days work in 6hours the Chairman was very happy and helped me build my main office again after burnt down by a fire. That's me when i start the work over again and that's the first work burnt down by fire in the picture you are seeing up there.

Today, Enugu state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi honored Enugu-born Paralympian, Mrs. Lucy Ejike, who smashed a world record to win a gold medal at the recent Paralympics held in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. Lucy Ejike, shattered the Paralympic and world record three successive times by winning gold with a lift of 142kg.

The governor rewarded her with the sum of One million naira and a plot of land in Enugu.

The Gold Medalist, Mrs. Ejike thanked the governor for the kind gesture and prayed God to continue to blessing him abundantly. Mrs. Ejike expressed excitement that she was remembered and appreciated for her efforts in the past 16 years.

Ejike first broke the Paralympic record by lifting 136kg before subsequently adding lifts of 138kg and 142kg to seal the world record and hand Nigeria with their third gold medal of the Games.
