I bet he had all these characters in him before you married him. Anyway, you are now married. My 2 cents: 1. Be very patient 2. Communicate your observations to him in a mature manner 3. Don't nag. 4. If you see no changes after communicating, seek out those he respects such as his pastor or parents. 5. Pray, Pray and Pray more. 6. God help you. 2 Likes |

Politics / APC 2015 Presidency GAME CHANGER: Fashola/kwankwaso Ticket by chaplin4u: 11:33am On Oct 19, 2014 |
Fashola (The best candidate APC have to offer) as president will bring in the votes of the SW, split the votes of SE & a handful of SS Kwankwaso will rally in the majority of the north. I strongly believe going off the norms for APC in 2015 will be a plus With Fashola, Nigeria will overlook the Muslim/Muslim candidacy. But can the power driven North ever agree? What's your opinion? |
Politics / Lagos 2015 Showdown: Apc Or Pdp by chaplin4u: 3:14pm On Sep 09, 2014 |
Since the inception of democratic rule in 1999, APC had been at the helm of government in Lagos state and Lagos has seen a rise in development ever since. We experienced the defiant of former Governor Tinubu to the excesses of former president Chief Obasanjo. From the building of bridges to the beautification of Lagos by planting grasses and flowers, the disappearance of the heap of waste that used to be the hallmark of Lagos. The record low of crime rate and the transformation of Oshodi that has defiled many administrations. Indeed APC is worthy to be applaused. PDP has vowed to take over Lagos and their takeover of Ekiti state has given them a boost. While it is noteworthy that PDP is a notorious loser in Lagos but the combined magic of fielding peoples candidate and the invent of stomach infrastructure won them Ekiti State, they failed to combine both in Osun State and thereby lost gallantly. In light of the development achieved by APC, it is noteworthy to talk about their excesses: 1. The Godfatherism of our dear former governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The Imposition of his wife as the Senator to the making of his daughter as Iya-laje who stepped into the shoes of his late mother comes to mind. 2. Infrastructural development is good but the government of Lagos seem to have forgotten the basic of life, food, clothing and shelter. Okada riders are now victims of the inhuman policies of the APC yet the government did not offer them alternatives. With Lagos boasting of the highest unemployed graduates in the country, stomach infrastructure is a key I bet PDP will score in on come 2015. We saw it work in Ekiti. 3. Multiple taxation and levies on businesses are making them groan. With the inclusion of the local governments levies. 4. Multiple agencies that harasses and fleece money out of people such LASTMA, KIA etc. Many have fallen victims of these official touts. 5. Deportation of Igbo citizens is such a blunder the APC government is so un-apologetic about. It caused such an outcry from well thinking Nigerians. 6. The occupy Alahusa (state secretariat) by the students of the state university because of hike in tuition fees comes readily to mind. 7. Lagos generates over N27b monthly as IGR without adding monthly federal allocations and excess crude oil allocations yet Lagos today boast as the highest indebted state in the federation with the highest unemployment rate. Come 2015, who are you voting for in Lagos State; APC or PDP? Mind you, am neither APC nor PDP. Just an objective citizen. Eko ni baje o. |

Tundeiab: Wicked Americans who doesn't want to lend us a helping hand in respect to ZMAPP. With God's help we are overcoming this phase of evil in Nigeria. I quite understand your frustration. To be quite objective, America is a capitalist country. They always look out for their interest and I can bet it with you that the only reason way they developed ZMAPP is because of a crazy terrorist biological attack. Ebola is an Africa problem! We ought to look onto our research institutions for solution not going cap in hand to receive tablets from Obama. We will be made to pay through our nose for our negligence. Ebola is a wakeup call to a sleeping giant. It's time we are proactive! God bless Nigeria!! |

Religion / Your Life Or Your Faith by chaplin4u: 11:59am On Nov 20, 2013 |
"Men come to your door, with guns. You are told that you either denounce Jesus or come with them to be executed." Now, at first glance there appears to be only 2 options to choose from ... 1. denounce Jesus as your Lord and spend eternity in Hell 2. go with these men and be killed, leaving you in Heaven ... and your eternity secure. As I pondered this scenario, I watched as many Christians proudly said, "Well, I would go with the men and die for my God." And they really thought this was the right choice! Naturally, to deny Jesus was the wrong choice - a "no brainer" to anybody who knows GOD. So what is one to do? Are there any other options? And as I pondered this scenario, that one question kept rolling over in my heart. "Are there any other options?" WAIT A MINUTE! OF COURSE THERE IS! WITH GOD, "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!" Suddenly, this HOLY BOLDNESS rose up from way deep inside of me, and I felt like Jesus Himself was inside of me, and I was but the outer shell, a "costume" for Him to wear as He said these words through me in a vision .... "WHO ARE YOU TO SPEAK THIS WAY TO A PROPHET OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD?" And as I pointed my finger at these men, a very great boldness came all over me! I stood strong and proud, with my back straight, and my chest out ... showing that "breastplate of righteousness" in the Armor of GOD. I continued to these men ... "WHO ARE YOU TO SPEAK THIS WAY TO A PROPHET OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD! BOW "YOUR KNEE" AND DECLARE YOUR ALLEGIANCE TO MY JESUS, LEST THE BREATH THAT YOU NOW BREATH BE YOUR VERY LAST!" Suddenly, in this vision, the first two men cocked their guns, and within seconds they began to grab at their throats, and they gave up their spirit and died right there before me. The others with them, quickly threw their guns down to the ground, and they said, (with a true heart), "We want to know this Jesus of yours!" I tell you, folks ... WE - HAVE - CHOICES!!! Click like if you agree. |

I wonder for the above person. Must you loose your personality as a nation just because you think that is what will make Nigeria belong in the committee of nations? Our good old traditional values are dear and hold water. Our President wears native attire demonstrating culture. I love Nigeria and if you are sick of it, renounce your citizenship. |
Politics / Re: Oyo Lawmakers Screen Olubadan And Arisekola's Sons For Cabinet Positions by chaplin4u: 10:12am On Nov 08, 2013 |
Anvaller: It is very glaring that he just selected a 2015 election cabinet. Took the word out of my mouth. But really considering the delicate politics of Oyo state I can boldly say Senator Ajimobi has good political strategy for 2015. I wonder at ignorance of some people! It is known in Yoruba land that the kings (Obas) wield power and influence over the people. The Alafin controls the affairs of the Oyos, likewise the Shoun of Ogbomoso. If you can recall that the votes of Ogbomoso is about a quarter of the general votes, likewise the votes of Ibadan. Including the son of one of the most influencial elder statesman, Arisekola in the mix is placing icing on the cake. With the influence of these Obas, I would rightly say Senator Ajimobi has positioned himself rightly for victory in 2015. |

Politics / Arisekola, Soun, Alaafin, Olubadan’s Children In Ajimobi’s New Cabinet by chaplin4u: 9:30am On Nov 08, 2013 |
OYO State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Tuesday sent a list of 12 commissioner nominees to the state House of Assembly, after over five weeks of dissolution of the cabinet. Five of the former members made the list read to the hearing of the House by the Speaker of House, Hon Monsurat Sunmonu at the Tuesday plenary session. The former commissioners who are making their return to Ajimobi’ government include Barrister Adebayo Ojo, Dapo Lam-Adesina, Princess Adetutu Akhigbe Adeyemi, Dr. Muiwa Gbadegesin and Zacheus Adelabu while the new nominees are Prof. S. O. A Olaniyan, Princess Olufunke Oworu, Prince Gbade Lana, Faruk Umar Alao and Engineer Deji Akande. Others are Honourable Adewale Lawrence Olujide and Mr. Abiodun Fatai Atanda. All the nominees have been directed to appear for screening by 9.00am today, Wednesday, at the House of Assembly, with 40 copies of their credentials. It is recalled that Governor Ajimobi on Monday September 23 dissolved the state’s cabinet. Meanwhile, the lawmakers have approved another six months tenure extension for the Transition Committee chairmen in 32 local government councils of the state. The approval follows a request sent to the House by the state governor, Senator Ajimobi but final decision on Ogo-Oluwa Local Government was, however, stalled. The current six month term is expected to lapse on Thursday November 7. However, Hon Adeniyi Farinto representing Iwajowa State Constituency on Tuesday admitted that members of the House were quite aware of a pending court case which has incapacitated the governor to constitute the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC). Farinto thus enjoined Governor Ajimobi “to do everything within his reach to see that the case is dispelled off, “to give way for the election of council chairmen in the state. http://tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/component/k2/item/25630-arisekola,-soun,-alaafin,-olubadan%E2%80%99s-children-in-ajimobi%E2%80%99s-new-cabinet.html

Phones / Blackberry Messenger Launch Thwarted By App Leak by chaplin4u: 3:38pm On Sep 23, 2013 |
Until now the BBM app had been limited to Blackberry's own devices Blackberry has temporarily halted the rollout of its free Messenger service for Android and Apple devices after the software was leaked. A version of the Android app was posted online on Friday - a day ahead of its scheduled launch - and was subsequently shared via the Crackberry forum. Blackberry had already begun publishing the iPhone edition in some nations when it announced that the unofficial app was causing it unspecified "issues". It paused the rollout as a result. "Our teams continue to work around the clock to bring BBM to Android and iPhone, but [will release it] only when it's ready and we know it will live up to your expectations," Blackberry social media manager Luke Reimer wrote in a blog. For the time being, iPhone owners in Australia, India, Malaysia and other countries where the software was briefly made available can continue using the service. However, the company said it had disabled the problematic Android app. It is the latest bad news for the company, which announced last week that it was cutting 4,500 jobs and warned it would post as much as a $995m (£621m) loss when it reported its second-quarter earnings this week. The company offered no further comment when asked by the BBC what issues had been caused by the app leak. Software strategy Blackberry has struggled of late to keep pace with Apple and products running Google's Android operating system. Globally it now also lags behind Microsoft's Windows Phone ecosystem in terms of sales. Despite this, its Blackberry Messenger product - known as BBM - has stood out as a major success. The software offers an alternative to SMS messages - which cost money on some subscription plans - as well as other voice and screen-sharing facilities. It has proven to be especially popular with younger phone owners. The app rollout is intended to address competition from Whatsapp, Viber and Skype which offer similar facilities and work across different mobile platforms. Some analysts had warned that by allowing its software to run on rival handsets Blackberry might make its own handsets appear less attractive to the public. However, that has become a moot point following the firm's announcement on Friday that it was going to exit the consumer market and focus instead on selling services to business customers. m.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24207126
