Deronke1: Please o, help me to advise a friend. She got PPR this morning, only to realise she can't find her passport where she kept it. Please what do you advise her to do? She got PPR just this morning? Meaning it’s not up to 2hrs so it’s too early to start looking for solution... she should look for it again, she will see it hopefully. She should relax and not panic then think and try to remember when last she saw and touched it. |

pearlies100: Very Long Post Alert!!
I got admission December 2020 for Fall 2021 in University of New Brunswick but could not apply immediately because I was due to give birth in January 2021. I planned to submit my application in March but thanks to our immigration service, it took over 3 months before I could get passport for my baby despite paying through my nose for expedited processing. I ended up submitting our application on the 9th of June 2021 due to this delay. I was advised to put in mine while waiting for the passport but going without my children was not an option. We applied as a family, Myself, husband and 3 children. My husband applied for SOWP and visiting visa for my children because they're not up to school age.
Aside from the wahala of having to convince the VO and the fact that we are close to our mid 40s, two things stood against us. We had applied to visit Canada in 2019, but were denied, reason given was that we will not come back and false information in my husband's application, he didn't disclose his denial for US visa. We had applied for US visa a month earlier but the consular officer decided to give myself and my son but refused my husband. When we asked for the reason, she said she had none but was making a split decision. It was an oversight on my part because I filled our forms, I did mine first and just edited same form for my Husband and son. I forgot to change that part. The second issue was my husband had a health condition and no information on how it was handled by IRCC. He didn't want to apply with us because he was scared he would ruin our chances but it was a no no for me. How will I manage with 3 small boys while studying. We decided to use agents to help with our application but when I heard the price, I ran away quickly, not in this Buhari's economy.
I used same SoP I used to get my admission because I had no time to start afresh, I just edited it and in addition explained why I was doing a second masters (I have an MBA, same with my husband), how it would be beneficial in Nigeria and course not available in my country. I also addressed the issue of the denial in 2019 stating we never planned to break any visa rule and pointed them to our travel history to show that we have never overstayed in the countries we have visited. I also had to explain the false information in my husband's SoP stating it was an oversight. Reason given for going with my children is that they were too young to be left behind and I need my husband to take care of them. He runs his business and will take time off to support me in my career advancement. Reason given for him applying for work permit is that he wants work part time to gain experience that he would apply to his business back home and also support his family while in Canada.
Application was submitted 9th of June and the wait started, UNB gave us ultimatum of 13th of September to get our study permit or defer. We would not be allowed to even start online without it. I had no choice but to defer to September 2022. I wrote to IRCC but got generic responses. I got Nairobi email address from this forum and sent several mails. At some point, they stopped responding. I decided to fast and pray first week in February, a friend gave me Abuja email address, I sent a mail to them on the 7th and got a response on the 9th to go for medicals. I was so excited that finally, we have made progress. My husband and I did ours first. We had to disclose his condition and he was asked to go for further test, the tension of waiting was not easy especially on his part, mine was updated on the 19th while his was updated on the 22nd. We finally crossed that hurdle. Then our kids were asked to go for theirs a month later. Theirs was updated on the 23rd of March. I was asked to submit an updated application letter from the school and I also had to send a new passport because of the expiry date on the one I submitted. My hope was that within a month we should be done with this whole process. Then another wait started. I started writing to IRCC every other week from April but they didn't respond to any of my mails. I saw a format on nairaland 3 weeks ago to use to send email reminders but still no response. I decided to chill until the one year anniversary of our submission. At this point I was tensed because so many things were hanging, cost of ticket was rising, I needed to give enough notice to my boss to get my replacement before leaving. I entered another fasting and prayer last week, I had no other option. On the 10th of June, that's last Friday, someone posted the email address of different Visa Offices. I started sending mails to all of them. I also sent message to IRCC's twitter account and was about to send to London VO when I saw 7 donotreply emails. I first of all panicked and was afraid to open the mail. It was like a miracle, finally after one year of waiting, this came through. I also pray for those waiting patiently to get yours quickly in Jesus name, Amen!

Spouse - SOWP 2 kids - VV Application date - 17th January 2022 BVL- 10th June 2020 PPR- 10th June 2022
The notification mail dropped all at once. I want to say a very Big thank you to everyone for their contributions on this platform and most especially to one of the best hands in terms of writing and reviewing of SOPs @justmellow of GCMSWRITERS (check him out on IG). After he assisted my spouse with reviewing his SOP for his study application (which turned out to be successful), we contacted him again for my application and that of my kids which also turned out to be successful. He is definitely one of the best at what he does and I never doubted his advise and suggestions even for once. I’m super excited as I use this news as a point of contact to everyone waiting on their good news that God will come through for each and everyone of you in Jesus name.
Let me also add that I was completely scared about not having a travel history (asin my passport na and my children’s own na virgin passport) but God took care of it…I submitted a total of 1m Naira in my account, hubby’s account had about 10m Naira and 10k cads.
Thank you all once again and May Canada favour is all IJN Amen. Super Congrats to you and your family |

Akexstinger: Hi guys ! I was rejected by IRCC today and my school is Conestoga college with a whooping fee of 19k dollars for just one year program and I had to defer to September because of delay from IRCC which made me not to meet up with May 9 resumption. Just this evening , on getting home from work, I received offer letter from Memorial University of Newfoundland for Masters in Occupational Safety and Health . I checked their minimum expense fee and the one year program tuition is just 10k Cad with C plan of paying 5k tuition fee for first semester and balance of 5k second semester. And no tuition deposit is required . I have accepted the offer . Resumption date is 6th of September and also Conestoga college is 6th of September too. I checked Mpower and MUN is not eligible for Mpower loan. Now I am confused. I don’t know what to do as I don’t have any source of fund anymore. Should withdraw from Conestoga college and ask for refund , so I can start with MUN. MUN is professional Master while Conestoga is postgraduate diploma and they are both in safety in line with my HND, and my work experience. I need your advice Welcome to MUN... my school |

aamey15: Its PPR GUYS,
I am so so excited, and I would like to share my testimony. Started this process January this year and I have to say God has been good. I learnt a lot from this platform, spent sleepless nights literally just reading and reading--- oh I read a lot, at some point I got obsessed and was scared but i knew i had to research. Then I summoned the courage and started compiling my documents. It took my almost 3 months to get all documents together and I applied April 9th. I have to give a special shoutout and THANKYOU to the one and only @technix who reviewed my SOP( because I had drafted it before making contact with him) , but guess what guys he did more than that, he went above and beyond to advise and guide me on the process. I would send him messages at odd hours stating my concerns but he would calm me down and reassure me that it would be alright. I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being a great support throughout this process, you are truly God sent. If anyone needs help with this our Canada Parole please guys trust me he is your guy. He is over capable and I am grateful our paths crossed. Applied – April 9th Upfront medical was done – April 19th Medicals was updated – May 18th ( I had to raise webform after I didn’t get a response from them) PPR- June 3rd

viclove04: Good day, Everyone.
I am here to share my testimony so as to encourage others not to give up. I also read the success stories of others and learnt a lot and I am very excited to share mine with you all.
First Application - June 18, 2021 Refusal - Sept 21, 2021 Application for gcms notes - Sept 21,2021 Gcms notes received - Oct 27, 2021
Second Application - April 13, 2022 PPR - June 1, 2022
What did I do differently? The refusal was based on two grounds - Purpose of my visit and Personal assets and financial status. From the gcms notes, the rationale for those reasons were pointed out.
The first time, I did it all by myself. The second time, I decided this time around I needed the guidance of an expert to give it my best shot as I re-apply and so I contacted @justmellow of gcmswriters. website :www.gcmswriters.com and IG/Twitter/Telegram: @GCMSWriters handle. He is in deed an expert and can tackle refusal cases. He was my guide all through the process and he also wrote the two powerful write ups I submitted - The LOE and SOP.
For my first reason of Purpose of visit, that was tackled through the wonderful compelling write ups. The VO made an error by concluding that my choice of program and previous study and employment history had no correlation. That was wrong. My program was perfectly in line with my employment history and that was spelt out clearly in the LOE submitted.
For the second reason that has to do with financial status and personal assets, a lot of work had to be done here on this serious issue for about 6 months. That was from October 2021 till April 2022, I tell you, a whole lot of work really had to be done to build my financial status so that a better financial representation can submitted this time around. My bank accounts had to run for 6 months, from October all the way to April to give a better outcome. More assets and investments had to be put into the application. Investments, business and employment documents and so on were put in plus the outstanding letter of re-consideration that was very mind blowing and technical.
This time around, I applied as Self sponsored and did not use "third party sponsor" as I did in the first application.
I tackled every point written by the VO in my gcms notes and left no stone unturned with the help of the exceptional guide who helped me all the way. When it was time to submit, he went through the final compilation and vetted, certified it good to go and I submitted it myself via my GCkey account.
To cut the long story short, I got the wonderful news on June 1, 2022. I am so excited. I am very happy I didn't give up and decided to re-fire. The truth is - I was very discouraged and almost gave up but I am happy I gave a shot and a better one at that the second time.
I give God the glory for making this a reality. And I want to encourage you all not to give up. Many got theirs on the 2nd and 3rd attempts. Just apply for your gcms notes to get a clearer picture and the exact red flags pointed out and give it another shot. Don't give up, just believe God, put in your best, get all the professional guidance you can get and it will come out successful. Wishing you all the very best. Glory to God!!! Congratulations... i will be congratulated soon |
