Many of the comments above are just childish. I'm not part of Johesu but they have a just demand and not actually fighting with NARD. I don't know Why you guys find it hard to read. The only problem we have in Nigeria is a poorly responsive government but you guys apply prejudice in every matter even before you read, if at all you read. We can't move forward in this country with such attitude from its citizens

You can do the scolding yourself. Everyone is not the same. Some are too matured to be insulting and scolding on social media and prefer to make peace. We are here to offer solution. Moreover, if the lady feels cheated, she can report the matter to the law enforcement agency, rather than taking matters into her hands. Chloroquine is gradually been phased out as the mainstay for malaria treatment in malaria endemic regions.

Secondly and most importantly, when treating malaria with chloroquine , it's for 2 or 3 days only, unlike covid where treatment is for over 10 days. Definitely, the side effects will be much more pronounced in covid patients compared to malaria patients.
Even in rheumatoid arthritis where they take the drug daily, the dose is much lower than the dose used in the treatment of malaria.
I would say Chloroquine is not safe when used at high doses for long periods.
