SMART ELECTIONGUARD PRO SHOWED APC LOSING—SO WHAT SHOULD I HIDE MY FACE FOR? 😂

Oga, celebrate Adeleke's victory, but don't manufacture a lie about Smart ElectionGuard Pro. 😂

THE EVIDENCE IS STILL ONLINE.

Smart ElectionGuard Pro was not my prediction board. It was an automated election-monitoring platform aggregating polling-unit results as they became available from INEC's IReV.

Early results showed what the available EC8As showed.

As more results arrived, the numbers changed.

At 4:04 p.m., I reported about 325 uploaded EC8As being detected.

I posted updates at 5:25 p.m., 5:50 p.m. and afterwards as IReV populated.
See it here

By around midnight, with roughly 94–95% of polling units reporting, guess what the same supposedly “fake APC platform” showed?

ADELEKE LEADING COMFORTABLY.

I didn't switch it off.

I didn't hide the result.

I kept posting it publicly.

I supported APC.

APC LOST.

The data showed Adeleke pulling ahead.

THE PLATFORM REFLECTED IT.

Adeleke won.

So what exactly should I hide my face for?

For building a platform capable of telling me that my own preferred candidate was losing?

My political preference is one thing.

DATA IS ANOTHER.

Political analysis can be right or wrong. But an evidence system must follow the evidence wherever it leads.

And Smart ElectionGuard Pro did precisely that.

FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE—EVEN WHEN IT DOESN'T FAVOUR YOU.

By the way, the platform is still available live.

How To Spot An Obidient On Nairaland: A User Guide

If it quacks like an Obidient, insults like an Obidient, dodges facts like an Obidient, and shouts “data boy” like an Obidient, forgive me for recognising the duck.

You can usually spot them by the familiar feathers.

First, they rarely answer the issue. If you raise facts, senselessly respond with insults

Second, they confuse abuse with intelligence. Instead of argument, you get insults. Instead of data, you get slogans. Instead of reasoning, you get “fake certificate,” “snatch and grab,” “criminal,” and other recycled chants.

Third, they practice selective outrage.

Fourth, they dodge facts like rain.

If it walks like selective outrage, quacks like political intolerance, and swims comfortably in insult, I do not need DNA test to know the species.

The political gymnastics of these obidients are becoming Olympic standard.

They are so shameless. I call them Approbrate on Monday. Reprobate on Tuesday obidients!!

Last year, Peter Obi went home to Anambra for an off-season governorship election.

What happened?

His Labour Party lost Obi's own polling unit.

Even worse, LP's governorship candidate was comprehensively rejected statewide.

Soludo/APGA: 422,664.
APC: 99,445
LP: 10,576

Soludo swept ALL 21 LGAs.

What did we hear then?

"OBI WAS NOT ON THE BALLOT!"
Peter obi has lost lost ALL off-season election since 2023.
"OBI WAS NOT ON THE BALLOT!"
😂😂😂

Fair enough.

An off-season governorship election apparently couldn't tell us anything about Peter Obi's presidential strength.

Fast-forward to Osun 2026.

Adeleke defeats APC in another off-season governorship election and suddenly:

"THIS PROVES TINUBU WILL LOSE IN 2027!

Ah! 😂

So an off-season election in Obi's own Anambra tells us nothing about Obi...

…but an off-season election in Osun is suddenly an opinion poll on Tinubu's presidency?

Approbrate on Monday. Reprobate on Tuesday.

You cannot eat your analytical cake and still have it.

And there is another inconvenient number.

Tinubu scored 343,945 votes in Osun in 2023.

APC has just polled 444,815 votes in 2026.

That's 100,870 MORE VOTES than Tinubu received there in 2023.

Does that automatically mean Tinubu will win Osun in 2027?

NO.

And that's precisely the point!

Governorship and presidential elections are different contests with different candidates, coalitions, turnout patterns and local dynamics.

If that principle protected Obi after the Anambra disaster, the same principle must apply to Tinubu after Osun.

Otherwise, this isn't analysis.

It is like a football fan saying a friendly match doesn't count when his team loses, then using his rival's friendly defeat to predict who will win the Champions League.

🤣🤣🤣

And what about the supposedly formidableADC third force?

Despite having former governor Rauf Aregbesola behind Najeem Salaam, ADC finished a distant third.

Aregbesola couldn't even deliver his own polling unit:

APC – 256
Accord – 43
ADC – 13

Yet we are supposed to conclude from Osun that the emerging opposition coalition is roaring towards 2027?

Please!

Adeleke won. Congratulate him.

APC lost. Let APC study why.

But don't transform Adeleke's personal incumbency victory into a presidential referendum while simultaneously insisting that Soludo's annihilation of LP in Peter Obi's backyard told us absolutely nothing about Peter Obi.

There is a name for that:

HEADS I WIN, TAILS TINUBU LOSES POLITICS.

If Anambra was "Obi wasn't on the ballot," then intellectual consistency demands:

TINUBU WASN'T ON THE BALLOT IN OSUN EITHER.

There is an increasingly fascinating feature of Nigerian opposition politics: President Bola Tinubu must be guilty regardless of the evidence or the outcome.

If my favourite writer, Dele Giwa of blessed memory, were to pen this, he would title it: THE TINUBU RORSCHACH TEST: WHEN EVERY OUTCOME MUST BE HIS FAULT.

Call it, satirically, Tinubu Derangement Syndrome. I prefer a more descriptive name:

Heads-I-Win-Tails-Tinubu-Loses Politics.

EVERY ROAD MUST LEAD TO TINUBU.

Before Osun, we heard the soundtrack:

"Federal might is coming!"
"APC will rig it!"
"Tinubu wants to capture Osun!"
"Nigeria is becoming a one-party state!"

Had APC won, the headline was already written:

TINUBU HAS RIGGED OSUN!

Unfortunately for the scriptwriters...

APC LOST. 😂

Adeleke's Accord polled 511,067 votes against APC's 444,815 —a 66,252-vote margin.

So did the professional alarmists reconsider their theory?

🤣🤣🤣

Of course not.

THE GOALPOST GREW LEGS AND RELOCATED.

Now it is:

"Osun has disgraced Tinubu!"
Osun defeated tyranny!"
"This proves Tinubu will lose in 2027!"

In other words:

HEADS THEY WIN. TAILS TINUBU LOSES.

It is like accusing a referee of planning to rig a match for Arsenal, watching Arsenal lose 3–0 , then shouting:

“YOU SEE! EVEN THE REFEREE COULDN'T SAVE THEM!” 😂

My brother, you are no longer analysing football.

You arrived with your conclusion already written.

Tinubu's party contested.

Tinubu's party lost.

INEC declared Adeleke.

Tinubu congratulated him.

And then came the delicious irony:

ADELEKE HIMSELF THANKED TINUBU FOR HIS “STRONG SUPPORT FOR A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION.”

He even reaffirmed his endorsement of Tinubu for 2027.

Yet Tinubu must somehow remain the villain.

If APC wins: Tinubu rigged it.

If APC loses: Tinubu was disgraced.

If the victorious opposition governor praises the process: quickly change the subject.

That is not evidence-led analysis.

You are totally wrong my brother. This is not a win win for Tinubu. The APC National Chairman and all those Governors, National APC Members and others that came to OSOGBO to support the President never came for win win situation.

I got your point. The same thing happened under AREGBESOLA after the death of Isiaka Adeleke. Tinubu always support those he chose to help to the end. AREGBESOLA never delivered. Oyetola never delivered.

The implications of this election is very disastrous and it is very obvious when I visited OSOGBO in March, April, May and early June spending few days each time.

The propaganda and blackmail and hatred against Tinubu on local Radio Stations was very high and the broadcast made in Yoruba language. Just because of ADELEKE. I have never heard that type of very acidic propaganda, blackmail and hatred against an individual in my life and now in Yoruba language on local Radio Stations. You are now saying it is win win for Tinubu. What about the blackmail and hatred already planted in the minds of the Rural populace?

ADELEKE congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. If anything contrary happens, it is rigging. Congratulations.

Politics › Re: APC Governorship Candidate, Ambo Casts His Vote (Video) by CharlesCNG: 2:24pm On Aug 15
Slippy:
The man of the people

Adeleke has failed Osun people in all ramifications
This is strong, but it repeats the same turnout caution in several places. The best compression is to keep three things: **early signs of strong participation, the 42% benchmark, and the argument that turnout geography matters more than turnout alone.**

WHAT DOES THE TURNOUT TELL US SO FAR ABOUT TODAY'S OSUN ELECTION? By CharlesCNG.

Early pictures suggest one thing:

OSUN VOTERS APPEAR HIGHLY ENGAGED.

But long queues are evidence of enthusiasm—not yet a statewide turnout percentage. That will become clearer when accreditation and voting figures emerge.

Still, the geography is interesting.

Reports show large voter presence in Ede, Adeleke's political base.

But turnout is not confined to Ede. Ikire in Irewole, home territory of APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, also recorded heavy early participation, while Oriade showed long queues.

That matters because:

TURNOUT IS NOT JUST ABOUT HOW MANY VOTE—BUT WHERE THEY VOTE.

THE BENCHMARK: ABOUT 42%

Osun recorded roughly 42% turnout in 2022, with about 804,000 votes cast from approximately 1.95 million registered voters.

Today, Osun has 2,339,233 registered voters, with 1,906,391 PVCs collected.

That means:

42% turnout ≈ 982,000 voters
45% turnout** ≈ 1.05 million
50% turnout ≈ 1.17 million

But the statewide figure tells only half the story.

Heavy turnout in Ede strengthens Adeleke's natural base.

Heavy turnout in Irewole could amplify Oyebamiji's home-LGA advantage.

Exceptional participation in Osogbo, Ife, Ilesa, Oriade and other battlegrounds could determine where the statewide margin finally moves.

So the real questions are:

Who is mobilising his strongholds better?
Who is reducing abstention?
Who is winning turnout in the battleground LGAs?

THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE AN APATHETIC ELECTION.

Ede is turning out.

Ikire is turning out.

Oriade is showing significant participation.

Now we wait to see whether those crowds become actual accredited votes across all 30 LGAs.

So don't just watch the turnout percentage.

WATCH THE TURNOUT MAP.

Because in a close election, turnout is electoral geography—and electoral geography can decide the winner.

IREWOLE: AMBO DOESN'T JUST NEED TO WIN HIS HOME LGA — WATCH THE MARGIN By CharlesCNG.

One of the numbers I am watching very closely today is Irewole.

Why?

Because this is Bola Oyebamiji's home LGA—and APC already won it in 2022.

The 2022 result was:

APC/Oyetola — 18,198
PDP/Adeleke — 14,216

APC MARGIN: +3,982

Now compare that with Ede North, one of Adeleke's strongest fortresses:

Adeleke — 23,931
APC — 9,603

ADELEKE MARGIN: +14,328

That gives us a fascinating election-night benchmark.

If Adeleke reproduces roughly +14,300 in Ede North, how much of that advantage can AMBO claw back from his own home territory?

That is why simply asking:

“WHO WON IREWOLE?”

misses the real story.

The question is:

BY HOW MUCH?

My rough scoreboard:

APC +4,000 → essentially repeats 2022.

APC +7,000 → meaningful improvement.

APC +10,000 → major home-LGA performance.

APC +14,000 → extraordinary performance; Irewole alone has almost neutralised an Ede North-sized Adeleke advantage.

And +14,000 would be no ordinary victory.

With around 35,000 valid votes, something like:

APC — 24,000
ACCORD — 10,000
Others — 1,000

would be required.

That is a landslide, not merely a home-LGA win.

So as Irewole results begin arriving, don't just watch who is leading.

WATCH THE MARGIN.

Because if Adeleke comes out of Ede North +14,000, but AMBO comes out of Irewole +10,000, then approximately 10,000 of Adeleke's Ede North firewall has already been erased before we even examine the other 28 LGAs.

And if Irewole somehow approaches APC +14,000:

ONE ADELEKE FORTRESS HAS EFFECTIVELY MET ONE AMBO LANDSLIDE.

Then we move to Osogbo, Ife, Ijesaland and the other battlegrounds to see who is accumulating the remaining margins.

This is exactly why Smart ElectionGuard Pro's Forecast Engine should not merely display who won an LGA.

It should tell us:

2022 MARGIN → 2026 LIVE MARGIN → SWING → STATEWIDE IMPACT

Because in Osun today:

WINNING LGAs MATTERS. WINNING MARGINS MAY MATTER EVEN MORE.

For the actual Forecast Engine UI, I would display Irewole as:

IREWOLE — HOME-LGA MARGIN WATCH

2022: APC +3,982
2026 LIVE: APC +_____
SWING vs 2022: _____
EDE NORTH OFFSET BENCHMARK: +14,328
OFFSET ACHIEVED: ___%

How much of an Ede North-sized Adeleke advantage has Irewole neutralised?

This is river state 2023 presidential election result sheet. Does this look like a free and fair to you??
But this is not Form EC8A. It is a collation-level document.

So if the allegation is that votes were altered during collation, don't stop at the collation sheet.

GO BACK TO THE POLLING UNITS.

Produce the underlying Form EC8As. Party agents may retain copies, while polling-unit result sheets uploaded to IReV provide another documentary trail.

This is precisely where tools such as SmartElectionGuard Pro become useful: organising polling-unit evidence so that later totals can be reconstructed and compared.

The test is straightforward:

EC8A → WARD → LGA → FINAL RESULT

If the EC8As add up to 10,000, but the ward collation suddenly says 12,000, we have a discrepancy to investigate.

If the ward figures reconcile but the LGA total changes, we know where to look.

And if everything reconciles from polling unit upward, that too is evidence.

That is the beauty of evidence-based election verification.

Don't merely show me a screenshot and shout “rigging.”

SHOW THE POLLING UNITS.
SHOW THE EC8As.
ADD THE NUMBERS.
SHOW WHERE THEY CHANGED.

Technology cannot make electoral malpractice impossible.

But increasingly, it can make manipulation traceable—and therefore much harder to hide.

25,000+ SECURITY PERSONNEL IN OSUN… AND ADELEKE IS WORRIED ABOUT ONE POLICEMAN CALLED “LONDON”? 😂 By CharlesCNG.

Sometimes Nigerian politics writes its own comedy.

Governor Adeleke’s special concern is reportedly one policeman called “London”, allegedly brought from Port Harcourt to Ede to “disorganise the vote.”

One man.

In an election involving 3,763 polling units and a massive multi-agency security deployment.

At this rate, somebody should tell us:

WHO EXACTLY IS LONDON?

A policeman—or Thanos with a police ID card? 😂

Jokes aside, this is why political alarm must be separated from evidence.

Elections should not be decided by who shouts “London!” the loudest.

So Governor Adeleke can keep an eye on London.

SMART ELECTIONGUARD PRO WILL KEEP AN EYE ON THE 3,763 POLLING UNITS. 😄

One policeman may dominate the headlines.

THE EC8As WILL TELL US WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

OSUN 2026: WATCH THE VOTE — THEN WATCH THE RESULT.

Election integrity is not only about what happens during collation.

If unusual activity occurs around a polling unit, record the PU, ward and evidence.

Then, when counting ends:

Was an EC8A produced?
Was it uploaded?
What figures were recorded?
Does that polling unit reconcile into the ward total?

Incident evidence + result evidence = a stronger audit trail.

Davido Vows No Ballot Box Snatching in Osun as He Prepares for London Show

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has declared that no one will be allowed to grab or snatch ballot boxes in Osun State during Saturday’s governorship election.

In a video statement released on Friday, the singer said: “We have a show tonight in Crystal Palace but first thing tomorrow morning, we’ll land in Osun State, we heard there’s a signal from the top ‘grab it, snatch it’, nobody can grab or snatch any ballot box in Osun State tomorrow.”

Davido, who is actively supporting the re-election bid of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, made the comments hours before headlining the Davido & Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl in London.

The statement comes amid heightened political tension ahead of the August 15 poll, with the singer repeatedly calling for a free, fair and peaceful election while mobilising support for the incumbent governor.

OSUN 2026: TODAY, LET THE EVIDENCE SPEAK By CharlesCNG.

Today, Osun decides.

For weeks, we have heard the predictions:

“Adeleke will win.”

“AMBO will sweep Osun.”

“This LGA is our stronghold.”

“That federal constituency is gone.”

And, inevitably:

“They are planning to rig.”

But today, something changes.

THE CAMPAIGN ARGUMENT ENDS. THE EVIDENCE BEGINS.

Once voting closes, counting takes place and polling-unit result sheets begin becoming available, we will follow the Osun election through Smart ElectionGuard Pro.

Our approach is simple:

POLLING UNIT → WARD → LGA → STATE

We don't just want to tell you:

“Candidate A has 200,000 votes.”

We want to answer the more important question:

WHERE DID THOSE 200,000 VOTES COME FROM?

Which polling units?

Which wards?

How many PUs have reported?

How many remain outstanding?

And, most importantly:

WHERE ARE THE EC8As?

Smart ElectionGuard Pro will organise available polling-unit evidence, process the figures and reconstruct the emerging result from the bottom upwards.

As polling units report, wards begin to form.

As wards become complete, LGAs emerge.

And ultimately:

PU → WARD → LGA → STATE
ONE IMPORTANT RULE

We will distinguish carefully between four things:

🟢 VERIFIED — supported by available polling-unit evidence.

🟠 PARTIAL — genuine results, but polling units remain outstanding.

🔵 PROJECTION — what our Forecast Engine estimates the emerging pattern may eventually produce.

🔴 UNDER REVIEW — something requires further verification or does not reconcile.

A PROJECTION IS NOT A COUNTED VOTE.

A partial LGA is not a completed LGA.

And an allegation of rigging is not evidence of rigging.

If something doesn't add up, our first response should not be:

“THEY HAVE RIGGED IT!”

It should be:

“SHOW ME THE POLLING-UNIT RESULT.”

Then:

SHOW ME THE EC8A.

Smart ElectionGuard Pro does not replace INEC.

INEC conducts the election, performs statutory collation and declares the official result.

We provide something different:

AN INDEPENDENT TRANSPARENCY AND EVIDENCE LAYER.

Think of it as:

A MIRROR, NOT A REFEREE.

So whether you support Adeleke, AMBO or anybody else, you are welcome here.

Bring your predictions.

Bring your polling-unit reports.

Bring your screenshots.

Bring your claims.

But once the EC8As start arriving...

BRING YOUR EVIDENCE. 😄
