"story for the gods" those scarab never last, is it not this one am seeing here that has gone to rust. I mean they are not bright enough and is as good as not setting them up since we can't see with it. it's meant for beautifying gardens etc and not high ways. go to Enugu there's this kind of impressive atmosphere those bright lights gives.. like the one at upper iweka.
my brother am a student of IMT enugu finals so don't lie to me about enugu ok

Charlesdonald is not true. those street lights are soo dim that you have to on your headlamp . that's why I hate solar energy light they aren't bright enough. if u can be sincere to yourself just compare the yellow ones which is powered by diesel to Solar. they should overhaul those solar panel and fix normal yellow ones which is obtainable in Enugu and PH city..
guy noting wey dem do na to please una wey dey good ....if dem no put atall wahala......dem put wahala......if na diezel powa wahala ....nw na solar still wahala

Nedu09:
stop all this blind comparison.... do you think Imo can power half of Enugu street light? not all those poor solar intensity light in IMO that you can't even see yourself...Enugu power all there lights with diesel and u no what it means. I presume the best for Owerri is to go for it..... lit up the city with the brightest light... can't u see yaradua road.
guy stop fooling your self and stop been outdated ..solar power is the one use nw use even in abuja, lagos and other part of the world...........some times in presidential road d light will not be on because of lack of diesel

Like WTF?
So you people endorse the new general hospital in all the local governments?
What happen to the old ones?
Imo state is still lagging behind when it comes to good hospital facility in the whole of south east yet rochas is building new ones to compliment who?
What will be the work force of the hospital?
How will they fund the hospital via modern equipments, staff salaries and give free health care treatment to pregnant women?
Hope the hospital is not going to be like a wasted building in the next coming years?
Rochas is trying but some of his project are just there to entertain those who care for the window dressing.

We should learn to how follow follow this thieving south east governors because all of them are potential criminals.undecided

The stands are actually beautiful but the intensity is not good and they are not very functional.

I prefer the regular ones (yellow light) e.g on Musa Yaradua drive, they might not look so fanciful but at night they are bright and functional.
for me is bright I see through them at night

Beautiful decorations at government house/rockview round about.

Also something similar at heroes' square.

I wish Rochas can invest more on street-lighting.

The quality of street lights in Owerri is poor in terms of intensity and many major roads are not lit at all or functioning.

Street lights help tremendously in terms of security and night life and invariably the economy of the state.
man there are quality street light in owerri ...........strong flood light and stainless chrome stand

Beautiful pictures of Owerri! Yes, road markings will complete the magic!

Is this the Wetheral by-pass that was newly completed?
What is that massive monument being built along wetheral by pass for?

I hope Rochas will give Imo an ultra modern stadium sited around Naze or owerri outskirts. Imo used to be a powerhouse in Nigeria's sports. Partly not having a truly modern sports complex is responsible for the decline of interest and sports enthusiasts.
that massive building u saw in abagworo pics is d owerri city school, nigeria best model college

Telling ourselves the truth is important. Will Ihedioha site his factory in Aba or Owerri? We all definitely would prefer Aba as ready distributors are there while Owerri will need more money for adverts, More money for transport and there are few or no distributors.

Ihedioha has almost completed his 7storey building 4 star hotel in Owerri and that surely gulped some billions. Why did he not use the money to build industry in Mbaise?
that hotel worth billions why didn't he use is for hotels

The answer is simple, owerri fastest booming industry is hotel and tourism enhancement credentials....so why not support the moving train

Now if truely he would build manufacturing industry for us if he eventually becomes the governor of imo state why haven't he build one
