still in similar situation.
My wife is the MA, why me the husband is her dependant, I want to use my account for the proof of funds but my agent is telling me our visa will be denied, that a dependant can not sponsor/ use his/her POF for the MA.. Said, I should transfer the funds to my wife's account and restart our 28days count.
If I insist that I must use my POF, then he'll ceased to be my agent, write to the school that, he's no longer our agent, then I can proceed with whatever I want (threat). Though, CAS has already been issued to my wife 3 weeks ago (POF wasn't needed for issuing of CAS. Can I proceed using my POF to apply, since we're applying the same time?

I just received my own 2nd call (after several missed calls) from the consultant for SS zone (Moradechi) requesting for my permanent address as well. Then they re-confirmed the details earlier given like my LGA and course of study. Fingers crossed hopefully it won't take another month till the next contact. All the best guys.

not everybody wia called, i know of two persons dat went for d oral interview in ss(PH) bt wia nt called

those people DAT had missed calls in ss zone, were called yesterday by d consultant requesting from them their LGA n state. I am trying to believe that there is little transparency in the process.

if u can't share informations and ideas ,I don't c any reasons y such pple shud b in dis forum. playing with pples hope,its not fair.last time I checked this place is called forum not personal wall.if u cant use ur information to help pple,their is no need pasting it here becos eventually the pple will still hear it from other source.just mata of time.

@chuckdc, why will the perm. sec. b compiling names on merit ground?,its means the consultant did not finish thier work because their duties was to bring to d desk of min. of power d successful ones based on merit and its left for d min. to approval. then give the approval to b consultant to start calling the successful ones. so wat is the duty of perm. sec. in the selection of candidates? pls clear my doubt.

@esunam,how did u no that these people that wia called re successful? and yes, age was place on each position n also grade of result (HND min. of upper credit) but me, I had lower credit . the criteria does not mata,its the grace of God that matas. pls I need ur reply on ur information.

@gloom, I know south south consultant as submitted their outcome but I don't tink the remaining consultants as submitted theirs. modaraec as submiited since 2wk plus now.I pray alterations will not b on modarace in d hand of d ministry(runs).

@wallax, govt av started paying off phcn staff since first of august, so don't tink is abt d settlement. let's keep our fingers crossed. there's hope.

@ogunwale01,tcn is not a private firm, a govt b manage by a Canada firm for just three years. d remaining 17(distribution n generation) re all private firms not govt. note, govt will not pay more not private firm. take for instance, sahara n govt paying d same salary. I know sahara bought one of the generation station n dey paid during d training process above 100k.so can c private pay more than govt ,even at the oil sector.

@chukdc, if I cud recall, minister of power took some certain amount frm phcn to recruit 500engineer tru different consultant (that shud b febauary 2013)wish will b trained in naptin or he is nt talkin abt tcn? And last 2wk dis statement was also made, but not goin to recruit bt the recruitment is already in progress. To me training is in Nigeria and job will start soon,because we will b trained to work wit them and also take over from them ,instead of waiting money on expatriate quote the minister. I stand to b corrected. When re dey goin to start callin I can't tell bt I blive soon.

@esunam, dey called almost everyone ,on confirmation of highest qualification and local government , I tink the consultant does not av our data,because d rest zones submitted cv and passport .bt we south south did not submit any,they checked our original copies for confirmation . Some of my frnds had 2 missed calls, because it ws private number n dey wia nt wit their phone. @ esunam,wen did dey call u? Last wk Friday by 4 pm? Or wen? And ws it also a private number?
