That's possible. There are lots of banks within a 5-minute drive from my residence.

Very fast. You can download 50GB in 1hr and 18 minutes. I get about 30MBPS inside my apartment though. I have to go outside to get the kind of speed you see in the screenshot.

Yes, it's stable. I got 75MBPS yesterday.

Omo see speed. Funny thing is I can't get this kind of speed inside my house, but when I go out and stand in front of my door, it shoots up to the sky.

I checked out the thread. The debit I'm complaining about is also from Flutterwave Lekki NG.

Update: Turns out it was Netflix that charged me an Authorization to make sure my bank account is healthy. I'm still not happy with Gtbank though. They're still an annoying bank.

I was charged a pre-authorized sum of 3,600 Naira after I renewed my Netflix subscription and the charge was cleared today. A few hours later, I was charged again for the same transaction. That's two debits for one transaction.

If not for the fact that I monitor my bank balance closely, I would have missed this charge. Those who don't monitor their accounts like me would miss it. Gtbank probably steals millions from their customers' accounts every month. Now I have to waste my airtime in order to call them and ask them to refund my money, and the worst part of this is their customer care will argue with you instead of admitting it's their fault.

About a month ago, I transfered money to someone's account and it took a long time to process the transaction. After it was eventually completed, I received two debits alerts.

They duplicated the transaction themselves, and when I called them, their stupid and incompetent agent told me it was my fault, that I attempted it twice that's why I my account was debited twice, even though the transaction details clearly showed that there was less than a minute difference between both transactions.

If it wasn't for the lockdown and the resulting long queues at banks, I would have replaced this disgusting bank by now. I detest Gtbank so much right now. They went from being a great bank to one of the worst in Nigeria so quickly.

Nice post Op... Learnt a thing or two about Airtel's 4G LTE speed.
I use a Swift sim on my phone and I do get upto 8MB/s...that's like 64Mb/s on a good day,, on days where it isn't high, I get upto 6MB/s...
I guess the plan is what is still making me stick to it, else I'd have opted for this airtel

That's impressive. Swift seems like a decent network too.

I miss Etisalat too. Airtel is king for now. One of the main reasons I bought the airtel router is the router data bundles that can only be activated by router users. You can get 30gb for 10K, 60gb for 15K, and 120gb for 20K but only if you have an airtel 4g router bought from an airtel office. Fast speed, cheaper internet. I couldn't ask for more.

Dem don start. Internet speed is measured in Mbps (megabits per second) and not MB/s. If u want to calculate the speed of download then divide 45 by 8 which will give u 5.6MB/s. That is not fast enough for a mobile internet? I hope u know even in the US and some advanced countries u can't get 45mbps on LTE and u are looking for 100mbps. If u want mega speed then it's got to be wired and not wireless.

Thanks for explaining it to him. My movies download at the rate of 5 megabytes per second. Sometimes it drops to 3 megabytes/sec but quickly goes back up. Took me 6 minutes to download a 1gb 720p movie.

Yes, I'm using an Airtel 4g router. Just got it about a week ago.

No other network has ever given me this kind of speed even with full signal bars. Also, Airtel gives me the lowest ping while gaming online. I should have started using them earlier. Thanks to Airtel, I no longer have internet issues. Their network is stable and consistent. I get such results from my speed test no matter the time of day when the test was done.

This thread is a waste of time. I can't believe I spent the last 3 hours reading every page only to find out that the project isn't even halfway complete. What a waste.

That's how JUMIA Scammed me. I bought a phone(Huawei Y7 Prime 2019) at 60K. After waiting for 5 days and not receiving a shipping notification I called them only to find out that the item was out of stock, and it was in stock when I ordered. They canceled the order and refunded my money.

The next day I checked and saw the phone on their website, but this time the price had gone up to 76K. I ordered it and it was delivered. After delivery, I checked their website again only to find out that the price had gone down to 60K again.

I called them to complain but they said there was nothing they could do about it. That's how I spent (wasted) an extra 16K for nothing. Jumia is simply the worst shopping site in existence.
