Romance / Re: Do Man Cheat On Their Wives While Pregnant by charlsecy4(m): 12:54pm On May 01, 2012
Pregnancy is sexy. The body of a pregnant woman could be curvaceous, making it very sexually attractive.

It is in order to make love to a pregnant lady. Just some changes in positions are required. However, you may be advised to avoid sex if the pregnancy is high-risk, that is, if it is twin or more, there has been a history of miscarriage on the part of the woman or any member of her family, etc.

So, a man who cheats on his wife when she is pregnant will still do so when she isn't.

Nairaland / General / A Farmer Has Been Sentenced To A 6-month Prison Term For Dismantling A Bomb by charlsecy4(m): 12:39pm On May 01, 2012
Jos – A 38-year old father of six, in Plateau State has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for using an axe to dismantle an explosive planted in a market, an action deemed to have endangered the lives of those around.

Monday Davou, a farmer, who was convicted by a Jos Chief Magistrate’s Court on Monday after pleading guilty to the charge of negligent conduct was, however, giving an option of a thousand naira fine.

He was arrested by security agencies on April 4, after he was found to have used an axe to scatter an improvised explosive device planted at the Riyom market by unknown persons.

The prosecution said the action could have endangered human lives contrary to Section 196 of the Penal Code.

Davou in pleading guilty said he acted in ignorance as he did not know the implication of his action.

He therefore urged the courrt to temper justice with mercy as he was a first offender who had a wife and six children to cater for.

Following his guilty plea, the prosecutor, Mr Yahaya Adamu applied for a summary trial of the accused in line with Section 157 of the Penal Code.

The presiding Chief Magistrate, Venchark Gaba agreed with him saying there was no need to drag the case since the accused had pleaded guilty. He therefore sentenced him accordingly.

I wish her all the best. But one thing I must say is that the scholarship given should not be trusted. I remember when I was the best student in my department in a session I was entitled to some financial encouragement. However, I was only given a certificate. I received no money as it should be. Promises shouldn't be trusted.

Whether the prophecy is true or not, just be prayerful. Ask GOD for an all-round protection and blessings. Flee from sin. You must live to fulfill your destiny.

Devotedly be saying this prayer:

Prayer Of The Holy Cross
God All Powerful, Who Has Suffered On The Tree Of The Cross – Be With Me.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Have Pity On Me.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Be My Hope.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Turn Away From Me All Sharp Weapons.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Pour Into Me All Good.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Turn Away From Me All Evil.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ - Preserve Me From All Spiritual And Temporal Accidents.
Holy Cross Of Jesus Christ, Now And Forever, Jesus Of Nazareth, Crucified – Have Pity On Me, Make The Invisible Fly Far From Me Now And Forever And Ever.

freecocoa: ............ they both are very important but if I'm to rate, I'll put his birth first.

It is NOT about rating! Ask yourself; why did Christ come? Is it to be born, or to die, resurrect and save humankind? The answer to the question should tell you which is more important.

Mekozoral: .......... what strategy can i use so dat i don't sleep with him till my weddin night cos, i'm really havin a big struggle with my hormones, even though he his a perfect gentle guy, i'm scared of myself cos d way i feel lately, i hope i won't be d one 2beg him 2make love 2me, pls hw do i contol myself......

The best way to avoid temptation is to flee from its occasions. For example, if a guy has sworn not to touch their beautiful, sexy househelp, it would be in order for the guy to avoid staying alone with the help in a room, when no one else is in the house. If you want to keep your virginity, don't have a boyfriend for now!

When you eventually have one, make it known to him from the beginning your intention to keep chaste till you're married. Work towards it, keep away from occasions of fornication, pray. God bless you.

Bomvastin: Pls u guys shud edit ur english b/4 posting. The grammer i see on nairaland sucks, 1 cannot comprehend

Charlsecy4: Your response DEFINITELY doesn't apply to me, and never will.
I think you should correct yourself first.

Bomvastin: Are u guilty? i didn't mention names! If ur grammer is ok, why bother? I've nothing to correct.

I have no problem with English, but a look at the sentences you wrote would indicate who has something to correct and who hasn't. I am not against your call for people to adhere to the rules of grammar; but you should at least try to practise what you preach. For example, you couldn't even properly write the word "grammar!" Who told you it's written "grammer?" And many other stupid slips (bolded) of yours!

orlahboi: A friend of mine ask me this question buy i could not give a suitable answer..pls help

jackima: Easter is important but if Jesus was not born we will not have Easter. So Christmas is the most important. Thanks. Chikena!

100% sure, Easter is more important than Christmas to Christians! In fact, Easter is the MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL CHRISTIAN CELEBRATIONS. The Passion and Resurrection are the primary purpose for which Christ was born. The Death and Resurrection confer salvation upon believers. To make man closer to GOD is the reason GOD has been sending His Prophets, but now He's sent His only begotten Son to die and restore peace and salvation to man.

Ask yourself; why did Christ come? Is it to be born, or to die, resurrect and save humankind? The answer to the question should tell you which is more important.

Thank you.

animari: I think the important thing is whether one believes in Christ and whether you have a personal relationship with God-A true believer doesn't need a date on the calendar to celebrate events- maintaining a relationship with God and obeying Him is already a challenge and He will reveal Himself to you

Why can't you answer a simple question?

RUBBISH!!! Are you going to create another thread saying "Happy New Month" when May comes? Worst still, it's on the Front Page!

Anyway,
Monday has been found to be the most favoured day for suicides, and April the most popular month.

Tomorrow (02/03/12) is Monday, in case you didn't know!

Months that begin on a Sunday will always have a 'Friday the 13th'.

slimyem: inability to express yourself in simple and correct english is an instant NO!
There's no excuse for bad english especially if the speaker claims to be educated.

I strongly believe you are from England. If not, you deserve mercy! Again, your type could run into, and welcome an eloquent demon!

Come to think of it, do you begin a sentence using a small-case letter as in inability, and do you use a small-case letter to start a proper noun such as English?

Emotional cheating is the same thing as adultery. Don't flirt, online or physical. It's bad. You are married. You never can tell what the final outcome will be. Big things start small. Problems will come up in marriages, but they must be resolved!

Education / Re: Is This Sentence Wrong? by charlsecy4(m): 9:56pm On Mar 27, 2012
collinsfbi:

You are very wrong, when an uncountable noun is used in the subject form of a sentence, the form at which it's being used will definitely determines the verb that will precede such. Therefore "have" is the correct form of verb to precede "All our equipment"

On this note, the perfect form of the sentence should have been; "All our equipment have a six (6) month manufacturers' warranty." instead of "All our equipment have a six (6) month manufacturer's warranty." because it's crystal clear that all the equipment can not be from the same manufacturer.

paulknight: It's very correct. The Englishman uses the word 'equipment' for sing./plu. Again, since u used 'All', 'have' is correct. U'r good to go.

I bet you didn't know that all, meaning everything, takes a singular verb, but all, meaning everybody, takes a plural verb. Therefore, the all in "All our equipment," must necessarily take a singular verb. All our equipment is........ (is standard English).

Examples:
All is lost (all means everything).
All are present (all means everybody).
