Who knows about the situation report of priority and super priority services. Is it that the services were just suspended for yesterday alone or they’re suspended indefinitely.
Are we still allowed to do walk-in?

Denikki: Hello house, a friend got a job to resume in the UK January. She is through with the entire process just waiting to get Visa and travel. But her license expires this December.
Must she renew before travelling in January? Or can she travel with it as it had already been verified during the process?
Thank you. In my opinion, she needs to renew it. Reason being that, it’s part of the documents you’ll need to take along for OSCE exam day verification. |

Diploma remains the basic requirement for UK RN. "Mapping" comes into play when you want to do a Top Up program or any academic program. NurzCee: Okay? I think i understand u now BUT how come single qualified RNs from Nigeria gets jobs there as UK-RNs? |
Travel › Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by Charltex: 10:36pm On Feb 28, 2020 |
Hello NurzCee, In the UK, an organization called NARIC does what is called "mapping" on international certificates to compare it with the UK academic system. Most Nigerian Nursing Diploma certificates don't measure up to the UK diploma Certificate to proceed with the BSC Top Up instantly, they measure up-to level 3; whereas you need a level 5 to proceed with BSC Top Up. Hence, the need for a sort of bridge program to level up. No one is issued an Associate Certificate, what Cowbelly is saying in essence is that our diploma certificates don't measure up to the required level after Mapping. NurzCee: Are u a registered nurse? If yes, RN or BscN? For UK that I'm very sure about. They don't require any associate certificate. Let the person that told u so send the link here, so I can take a look at it. I have my own links if u wanna take a look at it |

Sadly, it is. Not really associate, but will be awarded a Graduate Certificate first. CowbellY: Thanks.
I was told Nigeria's RN is rated as Level 3.
Seems everyone has to do an associate first. |

Hello, I'm not doing a top up online, but part time. However, we're doing a module on "Evolving Health and Social Care Agenda" as our first module. CowbellY: Hello,
Has anyone in the UK with an RN attempted a BSc Nursing Top Up ? Online ?
Is it normal to be required to do a Professional Development in Health and Social Care module first ?.
Thanks. |

Luchiano54: Congratulations, Crushsugar. I'm so happy for you. I'm still in the process- waiting for my DL which I hope comes this week or the next. I have some questions or clarifications, please. Let's say I get my DL this week, when do I expect my COS if it's applied for it immediately? Is it true that I'll have 3months to sit for my OSCE from the date of the issuance of COS? I hope to leave by the 2nd week of December because I have an important stuff that must be done by the last week of November. Lastly, if you don't mind, can you help me with the list of stuffs I may need as I'll be coming during the winter period. Thank you and all the best |

Your wife can always use MMA Healthcare or Akades. Please how did she go about verification of registration with NMCN and how long did it take her (If she has already done that) . sgtponzihater1: What agencies did she use to get jobs pls?,
For ur questions: 1. With CBT most hospitals employ as band 4 and prepare the candidate for the OSCE exams, and upgrade to band 5 after the OSCE.
2. After the CBT then she will need to register with the NMC UK. These will require paper works from her primary nursing school, NMCN, and she'll need police clearance. It's at this stage NMCN comes in.
My wife recently passed her CBT and we are eagerly in need of jobs in the UK. Someone should kindly guide us on how to go about it too.
Thanks |

It's not always easy paying for yourself. You need a dollar credit card for the transaction to be successful. There's no issue with any centre if you make the payment by yourself. All you need do is choose a centre and appear there for your exam. Adayoung: Please I want to pay for myself I hope i wouldn't have any issue with any centre I choose. That 70k is too much compared to the real cost of 45k |

Alright, I know surulere charges 70k, but some other places charges 62k and the other 59k. So weigh your options and make a choice. FameG: Wow .The ones closer home all gave the same excuses about payment. I might have to go to surulere at last. |

There are some other centres where you can book the cbt exam in Lagos. During your booking process a list of centres close to your address will appear so you could make a choice. But one funny thing is that there exam fee differs, that's if you want them to assist you with the payment. FameG: Hi. Please for the CBT exam, which other center can I write the exam in Lagos apart from the common one in surulere? Thanks |
