I'm usually more concerned about how much risk I'm taking and my reward is whatever the market offers.

You should try searching for Gabson.fx's posts. I learned a lot when he was sharing his challenge updates.

Bottomline; Always know when to get out.

but if this is how the system works, that's so unfair. or could it be that those who owns prop firms doesn't have idea how price moves? price doesn't just move up or downward without a little bit zigzag. how can they use this reality to set trap for traders?
for God sake I thought they (owners of prop firm) should only concern themslves with not losing the initial fund given to traders?
whether your floating profit falls down to break even or not shouldn't be their problem..
with this rules, every trader is at huge disadvantage because I see this more as a trap..

I don't know about you man but I think one skill needed in this business is FLUIDITY. You have to be formless, the ability to switch between timeframes and still trade profitably is something.

The prop firm owners have their model. It will be in your best interest to adjust to be able to enjoy the opportunities that lie therein.

Take a trade, set an achievable TP within the trading day or trail your SL.

The daily structure already showed me a failed swing and CHOCH in a "resistance zone".

This candle "+" in HTFs is actually consolidation in LTFs so that is RBD according to S n' D people. And according to "institutional traders"; "previous opened orders in accumulation areas are closed when price returns there before continuing in the intended direction". So it is high probability.

Coupled with the existing compression cum liquidity pool I marked out and fib OTE, even higher probability

I hope this post encourages us to strife to be better in our endeavors.
It's been over 5 years, I have been hearing about forex & the unlimited opportunities it offers. Over this period, I have had so much bad mixed & bitter experiences.....I never gave up.

In 2020, I decided to improve on myself & stick to what works for me best. I demo traded & got acquainted more with my style.

The confidence to go live came over a year ago, I was cash strapped as I had a lot of commitment. I continued demo trading and my confidence grew.

By May 2021,I secured a loan via NYIF & I went live with a chunk of the fund ($150). I told myself.... This is it, I will give it my best in a cautious way.

I drew out a plan with 18 months feasibility:
Low Level...... Take $150 to $500
Mid Level...... $500 to $1000
High Level..... $1 000 to $10 000
Advance Level..... Earning $1 000 monthly.

In less than two months, I am edging close to ML target with mild ease.

Me thinking.... Do we have trades earning $10 000 annually in Nigeria
More pips to all our sincere gurus.

I know swing trades when i see one....

Well, the gap up on the weekly open is a target of going long and it might consolidate there for a while before it drops to take out SSL.

I only watch AU, EA and Indices.

If you look closely there’s already a sms and let’s see if it wants to go lower and if it does, point a lows should be your target.

I sought intra day entry around that gap but price was unwilling to reach for it even after yesterday's AMD happened.

So i went with swing entry after yesterday's daily close as "confirmation"

Using one index as the frame work for other indices, this is what i hope tomorrow yields. And of course, it's a mental trade for me. My target is below "(a)"

If this trade is true, it may solidify my conviction that us100 is repeating it's immediate macro sell model.
